Jax Taylor Would Like to Take Back This Cringeworthy Comment About Brittany Cartwright

We can always count on Jax Taylor to speak his mind on Vanderpump Rules. But now the SURver is expressing some regret over a recent controversial comment. 

Jax recently took to Twitter to show his remorse for cheating on his girlfriend Brittany Cartwright, a revelation that has rocked the world of Vanderpump Rules this season. "I wish every f---ing day and every minute I didn’t do what I did," he tweeted. "But I love Brittany very much and I can’t imagine being with out her, I clearly have many issues and insecurities but I am trying." 

However, one fan called Jax out for seeming to not show his appreciation for Brittany in the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules. The fan took issue with this statement from Jax: "They say I manipulate Brittany. I never manipulated anything at all. How am I manipulating anything? What am I gaining out of this? OK, a girlfriend, but I mean, girlfriends are a dime a dozen."

Jax responded to the fan on Twitter, explaining that he wishes he could take back what he said. "You say things in the heat of the moment or when [you're] not thinking, I am guessing you never said anything you don’t regret? Must be nice, [I] said a lot things I didn’t mean," he said. "Was a tough summer for both of us."

Jax continued in another tweet, "Yeah of course I look back and cringe but it’s how I felt in that moment."

One might expect there to be a lot of chatter surrounding Jax's infidelity on social media. But the Vanderpump Rules pal previously told Bravotv.com that he's not concerned about any criticism that comes his way, only how people are treating Brittany as the couple continues to move forward today after this difficult time in their relationship. "Brittany and I, we're working through our issues. We're actually in a really good place right now. I love her very much. I don't plan on going anywhere. She's not getting rid of me yet. I'm not getting rid of her," he shared earlier this month. "I want to be with her for the rest of my life. We had some hiccups, as you'll see, but we'll get past it like anything else. I just want people to be nice to her. She's such a sweet, kind person. She doesn't deserve me, let alone all this other crap. So I just want people to be nice to her. That's what I want, mostly."
