Did Vicki Gunvalson's Kids Initially Approve of Her Dating Steve Lodge?

The OG of The Real Housewives of Orange County opens up about the early days of her relationship.

Vicki Gunvalson's kids weren't exactly the biggest fans of her ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers. So The Real Housewives of Orange County mom of two was probably hoping that her family would get along better with whoever her next beau would be.

That lucky fella turned out to be Steve Lodge. After the two met at a charity event for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in Anaheim, California, Vicki asked her daughter Briana Culberson and son-in-law Ryan Culberson to Google Steve, she revealed during Monday's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show. "I wanted full approval before I emailed him," Vicki shared. "So Ryan's like, 'He's standing in front of an American flag, I think he's a politician, retired cop, we'll let you go out with him.'"

In fact, Vicki and Steve's chemistry was written in the stars, according to Briana. "She gives me two thumbs up. I'm an Aries, and he's a Leo, and so she did this thing when we were together one night, having wine on the couch. And she goes, 'Let me Google Leo and Aries.' And she comes back and goes, 'Yes, yes, yes! Two thumbs up, Mom!' So she was all in approval," Vicki gushed to The Daily Dish in June 2016. "She really likes him, and it's really neat to have a family relationship, so I like it."

Vicki and Steve have been going strong since they began dating in Spring 2016. Marriage may even be in the cards for the RHOC couple one day. "Well, I definitely want to get married again ... I want to be 100 percent, 100 percent, 100 percent sure. I do not want to go through another heartache or divorce. So Lord knows I've gone through two relationships on camera, been married twice before, so I really don't want to jump into it," Vicki told The Daily Dish last month. "I want to be sure. I'm looking at every red flag, and making sure that everything is right for me because I don't want to fall out of love. I don't want to have another heartache again. But so far, all the signs are he's a keeper."

And you'll be happy to know that, yes, Vicki's "love tank is full" these days.
