Mark January 5 on your calendars, because Viola Davis is set to sit down with James Lipton on Inside the Actors Studio that night. The Fences star will discuss everything from her youth, during which she was on welfare, to later attending Juilliard. The Tony-winning and Oscar-nominated actress made a name for herself on stage and in films like Doubt and The Help. She also won an Emmy for her turn in her hit television series, How to Get Away with Murder.
Viola's IAS airs Thursday, January 5 at 8/7c.
