What Does Patricia Altschul Think of Those Whitney-Kathryn Relationship Rumors?
The #SouthernCharm grand dame reveals how often Kathryn C. Dennis was really at her house.
Over the course of three seasons of Southern Charm, we've learned that Charleston is full of secrets, and they just keep on coming. Kathryn C. Dennis revealed the latest one when she told Craig Conover that her fling with Whitney Sudler-Smith may have been more serious than either of them had initially presented it. She said she even spent a lot of time at Whitney's house with his mom Patricia Altschul there, too.
When Craig confronted Whitney about Kathryn's comments on Southern Charm, it went about as well as you'd probably expect, i.e. not well at all. Whitney basically denied everything Kathryn told Craig, as you can see in the below clip.
But since Patricia was supposedly a witness to the Charmers' "relationship," can she back up Kathryn's claims? “What can I say?” she recently told ET. “I live in one wing of the house, and at that time, Whitney was living at the other wing. And I think that this whole contrivance that there was a relationship is misconstrued. I mean... I don't like to use the term one night stand. I prefer 'sleepover.'”
Patricia went on to say that Kathryn's stay at her home has been over-exaggerated. “I think this was just a good, old Southern sleepover,” Patricia said. “I mean, I never saw her in the house except once.”
So ultimately, does Patricia think more went on between Kathryn and Whitney than he's letting on? “The funny thing is, she was talking about having a relationship that went on for a week and a half,” she explained. “I mean, I think that it was relations — they had relations, they did not have a relationship.”
Of course, Whitney is happy to know that his mom has his back.
As for Kathryn, she's still standing by everything she said about the nature of her relationship with Whitney.
