Which Real Housewives are 'Glee'-Worthy?

Casting director weighs in on their musical chops.

Around here, you can't flip a table without hitting a Real Housewife -- or hubby -- convinced they're destined for pop stardom. We've seen them in the studio, on tour, and in the Bravo Clubhouse, and savored every boastful beat. But what do the pros think? And more importantly, could they cut it in McKinley High? We turned to an expert -- Glee casting director and The Glee Project mentor Robert J. Ulrich -- to find out if our warbling 'Wives are indeed Glee-worthy.

Melissa Gorga

Robert says: "It was difficult to evaluate Melissa's full potential as she was just learning the song -- it seemed like she was hearing it for the first time. She sang on pitch until she tried to hit some of the higher notes -- I think she could correct that easily with some more breath support. She appeared to be having a great time and I enjoyed watching her learn. She shows potential."Kandi Burruss

Robert says: "She can sing -- she has a nice tone, sings with a great deal of emotion and is a good performer. I enjoyed watching her."LuAnn de Lesseps

Robert says: "LuAnn was fun to watch - she didn't really sing, she spoke the words, but she committed fully to her performance. I loved watching Andy enjoying her performance."

Kim Zolciak

Robert says: "Kim  is pretty, she sang 'Tardy for the Party' and the party looked like a lot of fun -- again enjoyed watching Andy."

So ladies -- and Andy -- sounds like the doors of McKinley High are open. To find out who might actually turn up on Glee, check out Robert and The Glee Project Sundays at 9/8c on Oxygen.
