Yolanda Hadid isn't just a #ProudMommy when it comes to encouraging her children in their professional endeavors. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom also lends support to her famous offspring for the choices they make in their personal lives, including the people they choose to date. When Yolanda stopped by Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday, she weighed in on Gigi and Bella's current beaus, Zayn Malik and The Weeknd, respectively.
"You know it's their choice, as long as they treat my daughters with great respect and they love them, it's all good for me," she told a WWHL caller. "Well you know what? You can't tell your daughters who to date. It's their choice and I support them in whatever their choices are and pray for the best."
Ahead of sitting down with Andy Cohen, Yolanda praised Bella's boyfriend, The Weeknd, for his big night at the Grammys on Monday and shared an equally heartwarming message for him to celebrate his birthday. And, judging by what she had to say, The Weeknd is treating her model daughter just fine. "Happy birthday sweet one @abelxo I pray that each day, Love, Health and Happiness will come your way," she wrote. "Thank you for loving my baby girl the way that you do #BirthdayBoy #Celebration."
Also during Tuesday's WWHL appearance, Yolanda made the announcement that following her split from David Foster, she would be changing her name back to Yolanda Hadid. Below she explains why.
