I think I cared the most about this elimination. First of all, I felt that every group had brought really strong and really weak designs to the show and I didn’t think there was one obvious winning or losing team. I liked the quality of work I produced, but there were a lot of design elements I wish I could have changed or developed. This however was not my worry. As the hours approached the show, I became more and more furious about the lack of talent and contribution Andrew brought to the group. I don’t need to explain much because anyone watching the progress of the team would see that not only did I have to hold his hand through every decision, but I also had to design Andrew’s entire look. For the record, that coat was 99.9% MY design and the more I think about it, it’s f--king bulls--t that in a competition of creativity and skill he can get away with totally ripping of my design that I though of in the fabric store while my request for his input was met by blank stares and amateur ideas. I am sick of pulling him through this competition AGAIN when he does not deserve to be here. I mean, this is a design I could have produced for myself in another challenge, and yet if I had not allowed him to do that, I might not have led a winning team! At least I know and everyone and anyone watching this episode will realize that the winning design of this challenge was MINE — from concept to fabric and color choices, and even to proportion and length. That coat was designed by Daniella Kallmeyer and everyone knows it is true. This is why I am sick of working in groups. Andrew shouldn’t still be here, let alone be given the satisfaction of standing up there and being told he had the winning design. Andrew, you know you don’t deserve it, so you can live with that. But anyway, I will not be stringing him along again this week. And when he is on the chopping block, I will not be sending any of the positive energies I was sending to Haven to manifest her continuation in this competition. And I am so glad she is still here, even if it is only for another week. She deserves to be here, and I am one week less crazy because she is.
Daniella,
I loved the song you did for your finale - is it downloadable? I own a boutique and would like to play the song during a runway show.
Emily Goodwin
Daniella,
You were my favorite from the first episode! I love everything you do, and i want to be a fashion designer like you some day! I sew now but im not too good at making clothes, could you give me lessons?? I heart YOU!!!!!!!
Love,
Ally
I loved your final collection!! Que Bellissima!!! I hope that you do well, regardless of what the final decision is.
daniella- i am your #1 fan no lies. i hope you are readin this. this is going to sound really stupid but is your last name kallmeyer??? i think it is because thats what it says on the title yay,it's got to
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your makeup. Any tips you can give? I really like how you do your eyeshadow an almost burgandy color, where can i find it??
Grow up Daniella! From watching the entire episode twice, the only input you really gave to him was doing the coat longer than mid length as he was suggesting. Well I would not put down your talent, because you are obviously very talented, your attitude and ego however, are not so pretty.
I know it's a reality show, but try to stay confident. You shine in the team exercises, because you show leadership and help the others. I believe that you have the potential to whip Reco's butt if you stay on the high road and get the viewers behind you. You're going to be a great success! (Your designs speak for themselves.)
It was so unprofessional to take credit for it during judging. If you didn't want him to use the ideas, why tell him? YOUR DESIGN WAS NOT IN THE TOP TWO. Why didn't you just make that coat if you were so in love with it. In the real world collaboration is the key to success. you clearly don't have the ability to do that. Your ego needs the credit rather than allowing your team to shine. It was really sad. You lost a lot of credibility on that display.
This is the 21st century. Almost everything has been done before. If it is truly your design. You should have a patent or some papers to show that it is 100% yours.
Actually you dissed Andrew's design as a poor version of yours before claiming to the judges that the idea is completely yours, I re-watched the episode and I found differences in your idea and his final garment, your concept was to put a zipper on the back of the neck to open and then wrap it around the neck...I agree to some of the commenters saying that you're not a team player, you should work for yourself...the big-name designers are not hiring you honey.
hey everyone...thanks for your support...for those of you who took the time to write kind positive things...you have a good heart and made my day. for the others-i just wanted to clarify that i never claimed andrew STOLE my design. I was merely shocked at how moment after moment he took credit for all the things i so clearly gave him. its not about being a theif, its about being honest.
thank you everyone...keep voting! i promise i wont let you down!!
I definitely think you have what it takes to get very far in this competition. However, I gotta be honest, I just can't STAND your personality. You're always bitching about something, rolling your eyes. I get it, you're talented. I do like your designs, and I do think you are extremely talented. I just want to change the channel everytime you're getting interviewed. But hey, it's a fashion competition not a personality competition. Just saying, you might want to work on that.
Daniella, did you invent hotpants? Did you invent the shear jacket? Did you invent the side pockets on coats?
Why aren't you giving the proper credit where credit is due?
I know. Because you invented clothing. Where would the world be if you didn't exist?
Daniella- I'm constantly amazed at your talent and creativity. To be perfectly honest, I know very little about fashion, but after starting to watch the show I'm very impressed with your abilities, and at such a young age! Good for you! I think you have so much to give, and you will have a long career ahead of you. I also must say, I can see how Reco would annoy everyone, but he's one of my favorites on the show. Definitely outspoken and animated, but also rightly so. Anyway good luck to you, I think you have a very bright future ahead of you! Oh yeah, I was soooo glad Andrew got booted, he was completely ridiculous! I thought you handled yourself well when he took your idea....I can't say I could've done the same myself!
Actually, I happen to know that Daniella's coat design is is not her own concept either. I recall seeing it in a portfolio of another student at London College of Fashion for the collections produced SS08, maybe you should think twice about putting someone else down if you are not entirely original yourself!
I agree and empathize 100% with you. In the 80's I was living in L.A. and dated a guy who worked in the fashion business. He loved my designs that fall. So much so that he stole them and made a mint off them. Being naive as well as in an emotionally abusive situation, I did not retaliate. I don't make those kind of mistakes with my work now!!! So, I send you good hiopes and see that you are a strong, positive person. Stay that way. if another "designer" has to steal your ideas as they may have no original ones of their own, there are jobs for them in fashion, "designing" clothing to sell in midbudget and discount dept. stores...Walmart, anyone?
Given you are talented and, maybe, a good designer, you probably deserve to be in this show/competition. But, time and time again, people with your despicable and condescending attitude will never win in the final round. I see you every week rolling your eyes, making faces and annoying remarks. You are so negative. You always blame others on why things don't work out. You're insecure and envious. You helped him with his design and yet you're disgruntled because he won and not you. If you weren't so negative, you should've been proud you helped the guy. From the start, you are not a team player and just in case your self-centered mindset don't realize, you will never be successful in your career without working well with others. You are a good example of the grinch everybody avoids at work. Yes, you are bitch and the show will lose its integrity if you win the competition because nobody wants a bitch to win. People will always prefer someone with humility, kindness and goodheartedness.

Daniella, get over it. Put your energy into your designs, not into concerning yourself over what Andrew is doing or making snide comments or rolling your eyes at everyone at eliminations. Don't complain someone isn't taking or appreciating your ideas enough and then turn around and accuse them of stealing your design-- logically, one would lead to another. Yes, it stinks that he borrowed so heavily from you, but it's worth about an hour of annoyance, and then it's time to move on.
get over yourself daniella....you did it twice now.......and quite frankly I don't believe you, I see a jealous person trying to make yourselfr better then the others.......your designs are beautiful (and that is in ythe eyes of the beholder,) but your ugly inside....you wont last long with your better then thou attitude
Speak your mind! Glad the team stuff is over and the individuals with real talent can shine.
Daniella.....get over yourself......your jealousy is showing ......you designs may be beautiful.....but your ugly inside.......your not the most shining star in the fashion world
Rico has it all over you. I wish Andrew had stayed and you gone, you just put peole down.
I was glad to see you speak up for yourself. Dont be intimidated by Norma Kamali. She may be a legend, but plagiarism is not acceptable in any profession. I am certain if someone knocked off her designs and profited from it, she would have them in court faster than you can say "Gucci"!!!
You were right in expressing your opinion and the truth about Andrews stealing your design. Norma Kalmai is a washed up has been. Seriously she sells her clothes at Walmart! What a stupid thing to tell you. This is a competition not a company. Good Luck I hope you win!
Dont regret not saying anything..Im glad you did and he should have been penalized for it, instead....he won!!
keep rockin
The two of you are so wrong and you look weak and pathetic by putting others down. malefecent is 1005 correct.
Daniella, HE STOLE YOUR DESIGN, THEY SHOWED UR SKETCHED AND YOU TELLING HIM EXACTLY WHAT TO DO.
HE HAS NO TALENT AND COPPIES OFF OF OTHERS
YOU GO GIRL
LOVE WATCHING YOU!
He didnt steal your design, you gave it to him.
When you're a woman who's agressive and competitive, then you're aggressive and competitive.
When you're a nasty bitch who's already clashed with several competitors, then you're a nasty bitch.
Guess what this chick is?
It's a shame. If a man is talented and confident, then he is considered to be a good leader and touted for being aggressive and competitive. If it's a woman, she's considered a "bitch". Just stay on track and know that you are accomplished and talented! Good for you! And I agree - you did the right thing by speaking out about how talentless Andrew is. It's a shame that they made you stay in teams where someone like him can hang onto someone's coattails and slide through.
You remind me of Wendy in the first season of PR and Angela in season three of the same. I don't know if you realize this but you don't come across as a very nice person. Remember that the show promises that the viewers will choose the winner. Think about that. Concentrate on creating great garments and don't get into personality games with the other contestants, it is not cool.
meow...
this is the SECOND time you bottled this all up, and then, like a coward, wait until there was an authority figure around to put someone on the spot for something. You should have confronted him before elimination, man to man. What you did was VERY unprofessional.
I hope that this isn't how you plan to go through the entire competition, it's not an attractive quality. Nor is it respectable.
