Why can’t I find a Blog on Kelly Rowland? Is it because she’s not a designer?

I believe that the importance of designers knowing their fashion history should be the FOUNDATION of all designer's career. This episode should have been the first. A designer, as well as any professional, may have the talent or the will to do but if he/she lacks knowledge on the history of certain topic they are bound to commit the errors seen on this episode. Unlike Ana, for example, who had previous knowledge, which led her to an excellent performance. Congratulations for this great program. Looking foward to next season. A+

Love The Fashion Show and the judging procedures. Issac, you are a master host. I did not enjoy the cat fights among the designers. Anna and James Paul were notably calm and polite.
How refreshing!!!!!!!!!! Reco's rants were a total turn off. They affected how I looked at his designs. Merlin and his "Hello bitches" were also totally bad!!! Happy to see both of them go.

Isaac, I have loved you forever, even though I could not afford your designs.
We only watched this show because you were going to be on it. Now that Reco was not chosen, I want to say to you, give this show up.
Good night, Isaac!

I love Isaac, he is fun to watch and interesting to listen to! I loved this show and I was delighted with the choice for final 2 and for the winner! Of course, these were my top 2 choices! Haven would have been my third choice.
I think cutting Rico was the right choice...his final collection was truly horrible and his attitude is far worse! In my opinion he embarrased himself with his arrogance.
I really hope this show comes back! I would also love to see Isaac do another chat show!!

I'm a woman and I love the ties you wear, do you make all of them?
If so, are you going to do you have plans to do a line of ties for Target?

The most recent "cardinal sin" was eliminating Reco because you knew he would win.
The idea that viewers actually get to select the winner is a pretense. Your manipulation ensured that wouldn't ever happen.
I didn't bother to vote for the Reco-proofed final list, and I won't be watching the announcement of the suppsed "viewer choice."
Time to cancel this knock-off show!

I am not happy that you did a surprise and did not let Reco go to the finale and be voted on by the public. I watched your show previously but will not in the future. There are many other shows to watch that I have a lot more faith in

I had hoped[ maybe next season?]
I had hopes that a challenge would be this:
To use all kinds of fancy ribbons on a design...
washable ribbons...
also i had hoped that :
have each designer pick fabrics etc..
then draw a number out of a hat assigned to each designerand they would have to trade their stuff with the person who chose their number to make it more of a challenge...

I'm so upset about Reco being voted off. Reco was the heart beat of the show and the best designer. Reco made me want to shed some pounds to fit in that black skirt suit. I loved the red fluffy dress he designed. I love the coat dress very classy and classic. I loved all his designs. His designs showed life, style and high fashion. some of the other collections were to depressing, wierd, gothic, dark and creepy [vampirish].
I won't be watching the remaining show because I feel cheated. Voting Reco off was a crime against fashion.

Isaac,
Over all I enjoyed your Fashion Show. However, it is sad that once again the public & logical winner was not given any consideration. In reading the blogs you will find your true winner. I feel: 1) Daniella, being a good competitor, lost the mark. Her showing was ill fitted, mono-tone, one note, and per your comment of "sorry darly, we're not buy it", this truly applies to Daniella collectioin. 2) Anna - presented the same old designs shown throughout this series. The collection was not for the regular customers, which somebody like you that designs for Target should know, and that bottle carried she came up with is tried. The collection was good, but not "wow". 3) James Paul - I'm sorry but what a messy. However, I knew that you would be selecting him for the final. His designs were a total disappointment. You all completely missed the mark. This from highly respected judges???? 4) Needless to say I truly loved Reco's collection. I don't know what you judges were looking for and you truly missed the mark on this one. In all "I'm not buying it, darly, bye-bye. 5) One finally remark, in all I enjoyed the show, did not agree with your selection, but if the show is re-newed for next season. Maybe getting a new co-host with a little more experience, other than attending run-way shows, and less attitude would add to your viewership.
Thank you

Wow you judges made a huge mistake, Rico has been most liked since the show started! Its not only his wonderful attitude and dimeanor its his wonderful clothes, by far he put out the best work. I am very dissappointed and can not believe James Paul will show his line for the finale:( You need to call Rico back or atleast let the fans vote for him to see what the real world wants. I will not be voting this season!

I won't be watching anymore Isaac...you let the best designer with the best line leave this competition and it's a shame. He knows how to dress real women with real, wearable clothing and I don't think anyone else in the competition can do that besides Anna. And her line was all over the place. Replica after replica of her same line from the whole season. At least Reco had new ideas and tried to push the limit with his designs. Deleting off my DVR today.

Isaac, I respect you as a designer and I love your personality...however, I despised your judging panel's decesion on tonight's finale...Reco was not one of the final 3 despite his obvious talent and a knockout final show and continued growth, but Anna was kept on although she produced several familiar "been there done that" designs...and Mr. Practicality...James-Paul...NOT...I would opt to respectably mount one of James-Pauls creations on a wall in my bedroom but I would not have choosen him over Reco...Danielle is right were she needs to be...however, Reco was cheated...I am disgusted!!!

What a sad, poorly contrived stunt you've pulled. By not giving the viewing public the chance to vote for Reco, you have lost at least these two viewers. We could put up with Isaac's pale reflection of celebrity. (You're no Tim Gunn, darling.) We can tolerate the inaccurate focus of the show. [If you were truly about fashion for the everyday woman, then you'd select based on that criteria.] What we can not stand is to see the best designer sent home without letting us vote for him. We're deleting your show from the DVR's auto-record. We don't even care to see the final episode, which we're sure will be the FINAL episode. Your 15 minutes are up. Buh bye.

Dear Isaac,
You are, without a doubt, a GENIUS. Your wonderful sense of humor shows through on each episode and I look forward to seeing you every week. You effortlessly manage to be insightful, thought provoking and constructive without being cruel or overly harsh. And that, my dear is a rare gift.
I absolutely agree with you in stating the contestants must know their fashion history. I was appalled when a couple of the designers showed their ignorance of the Masters (after all, the designers you chose to spotlight were Masters).
Isaac, would you ever consider selling your sketches? Quite a few people may not be able to afford your couture creations, but, perhaps we could afford your sketches. By the way - I LOVE your shoes!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, time and best of all, YOU, with us.
Kind regards,
Katrina

My partner and I have been watching The Fashion Show and we have been a little disappointed. When we watch the show, we have noticed that you nor Kelly give feedback on the designers wardrobe. You would ask them what they were doing and their thoughts behind them and then most of the time the two of will go "interesting" or "hmmm" and then walk away. It could just be the editting but I feel there is not a connection between the two of you and them. Also, once you two leave the room, the two of you talk about each designer almost behind their back. It would be great for you two to share that info with them and we can see their feedback. Tell them you love it or hate it and why. It is boring to see you NOT make any comments to them.
Another thought is to change up the challenges. This season, you guys did a whole bunch of team activities...switch it up. Think outside the box. Have them use random materials. The more recent shows have been more interesting. The entire draping a dress with six pins was amazing.
Finally, during elimination, it was great to hear that 92% of the audience did not like the outfit, but after you shared that we knew who was leaving. You took out the suspense. Share that information afterwards.
We do hope that The Fashion Show is picked up for a second season but I hope there are some changes. Best always!!!

I totally DISAGREE with the show allowing the viewers to determine the winner. By allowing the fans to vote for their favorite will only show who is more popular, not necessarily the best designer. I think Reco is a pretty good designer but would never want to see him win simply because of his demeanor. Whereas, I really like Daniella whom, from what I can tell, it not that popular amongst the fans and therefore wouldn't receive the votes needed to win. Hopefully, I missed something and the judges will ultimately have the final say as to who the winner will be.

You need to explain why Reco didn't go home. 90% hated his dress but the judges let him stay! At least her design wasn't a costume. His red dress looked like a Halloween costume. I now believe the winner has been predetermined. The show is fixed.

Isaac,
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE explain to me why so many of the designers dress so horribly 80's!!! Cool-ots weren't cool in the '80's! And when did grandma's closet become the "clothes horse" hot-spot! Ick.
SO many of the designers are so talented, but completely void of originality. If you design an outfit that looks like something I saw in the 1986 BAZAAR Fall collection spread - then it's not original. It's not even an homage. It's a direct rip-off.
Ugh. I'm so depressed right now.I love you though! Your reactions to the designers always crack me up. I look forward to watching you every episode.
Thanks!

Isaac:
Youre absolutely right, no truly successful artist can be ignorant of the past if they wish to move forward intelligently. There is an enormous difference between referencing the past as stimulation for one's own work, and copying it to cash in on the uninformed. All artists should be required to thoroughly review history, including Architects, Painters, Sculptors, Photographers, and Designers in any medium or media. But, after you quoted Santayana and instructed that "those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it," you let Reco slip by and cut Haven. She may have failed in execution, but not due to the ignorance demonstrated by Reco. Worse, it was not some remote designer he was unfamiliar with, it was Halston. The ridiculous "renaissance dress" not only failed to pay homage to Halston, who is still recent past, but it insulted the memory of a designer whose name is synonymous with contemporary fashion. I think next time you screen contestants for the show, their knowledge of history should be tested along with their flair for the dramatic. And, maybe a visit to one of NY's museums with a design exhibition should be required as well.
On a more positive note, your show is exciting, fun, and keeps the viewer begging for more. As you always, you have succeeded in giving the public art that it wants and needs.
