Hi Isaac,

Loved, loved, loved your your Fashion Show, I enjoyed it maybe more than Project Runway. You come across as a nice guy! Hope to see more shows!

I am so frustrated! I just watched this episode on my DVR and what the heck is a B Girl?!? I don't think the majority of the world knows that term. If you had said hiphop, maybe Angel would have understood!! And to have Kelly say she was "offended" by the design was ludicrous! All the judges kept talking "hiphop". If they had mentioned that to Angel upfront, she might have been able to design something hiphop. I travel all over the world all the time and still have never heard that term! I think the judges, in particular Kelly, need to APOLOGIZE to Angel!

I've been sort of enjoying the show until the latest episode, which was ridiculous. How can you expect your designers to live up to expectations if they're not allowed any proper reference points, and you as the judges don't even know how to properly explain what they're supposed to provide. I'm a hip hop dancer, but I'm not a "b-girl". B-girls are specifically female break dancers- a subculture of hip hop- which was never explained to poor Angel. I can understand why she was so confused- no one ever explained that "b-girl" was supposed to be synonymous with hip hop, because no one associated with your show knew either! Also if your bag of clues was supposed to explain it... no wonder she got into trouble. No way I'm watching this confused piece of shit anymore.

I agree with the FanFare comment. Issac, as a professional you should be able to articulate to these individuals what is working and what isn't. Instead you resort to catty and/or vague comments. Is it too much to ask for you to "assume positive intent" - e.g. assume that each person is doing their best - and help them actually learn from this experience vs. humiliate them? What you call "the truth", is actually poor communication skills. I hope you don't manage this way in real life.

Kelly is no better. She does not add value, and serves no role on the show.

Isaac,

I was curious what you'd bring as a mentor(?) / judge(?) to this format. So far, I've been very disappointed. You are no Tim Gunn. When checking on the designers, he gave constructive criticism. Your comments are unclear and incomplete. While wearing a judge hat, you are cutting and immature. You're like Michael Kors hick, classless baby brother. So, "ba-bye, dahling. I'm just not buying you!"...

Can someone explain to me the purpose of Kelly on this show? She has nothing to add and always agrees with Isaac. Was it that Bravo couldn't find another diva so they found someone who liked to shop?

Bad choice, Bravo!

I watch your show and really enjoy it. one question I have is about Kelly. I would love to know where I can get the dress she had on the day you asked the designer to draw the dress she was wearing. it had ruffles on top and layers on the bottom. I would love to purchase it for a wedding. any chance you can tell me where I can find it?

thank you

Isaac, had I been Angel in her situation today I would have shouted in anger: Angel asked several people what a B girl is, no one gave her even a clue. Not everyone watches MTV. I never have, and I live just on the other side of San Francisco Bay. To me, a B girl is someone who sits in a bar and lets men buy her drinks. HipHop? How would one know that a B girl is HipHop? I don't know much about hiphop at all. Being a designer or trying to be one as Angel is doing does not give one an awareness of every highschool trend. I kept wishing that Angel would get angry and yell that no one told her or even gave her a clue that the clue was for HipHop. Even then she might not have known what to do but at least she might have had an easier time finding out. Angel never had a chance in this clue. I'm not in any way defending her abilities as a designer, only that she never understood what a B girl is. Please Isaac, when you give clues make sure that everyone understands what these clues mean. Thank you. I enjoy your show. JR

I watched the show where the designers had to design for a specific high school clique and was a little interested in your description of b-girl. A b-girl is not just a hip hop girl, she is a specific style within hip hop involved in break dancing specifically. Not once in the show did you seem to explain what this was to Angel. Instead you ridiculed her for not knowing hip hop style when that was not exactly what she was designing, she was suppose to be designing for a break dancer. A b-girl is part of hip hop, but hip hop is the entire category, a b-girl is only one aspect of this cultural style. I was interested and surprised that you did not seem to recognize this. The styles are not the same thing. Thank you.

ALL I WANT TO SAY-- SINCE I DONT KNOW HOW TO WRITE TO PRODUCERS. I SURE HOPE THIS CHEAP LOOKING SET AND SUCH TERRIBLE DESIGNERS JUST BECAUSE ITS THE FIRST YEAR. IF I WERE A FAMOUS BUYER AND STYLISTS IN THE AUDIENCE, I WOULD BE EMBARRASSED TO BE SEEN THERE. I HOPE IT'S JUST A CASE OF GROWING PAINS. ALSO, I THINK U GUYS WOULD THINK ABOUT A NEW--BETTER KNOWN--CO-HOST. JUST A THOUGHT.

Isaac, you are sooo funny! And you are so cute. I like the way you judge and recognize talent in others. It is a shame that some of the designers are not learning more from the way you handle their drama, well, I know they are stressed out but they really need to learn from a succesful designer like you.

Kelly is also wonderful, I love the way she looks every week and she is a fresh face, and somebody who is current with today's fashions and styles. Keep her.

First of all, I have respected Isaac Mizrahi since I started watching Elsa Klinch on CNN on Saturdays. I was so excited to see this was going to be on Bravo as I only really make it a point to watch TV 2 nights a week and they are both for Bravo series. I am so disappointed by the attitude and lack of reality these contestants have shown. I loved Isaac's comment about commerce and fashion on last nights episode. The designers need a reality check, being able to design really needs a foundation in construction does it not? Fern Mallis once said that being nice goes a long way in this business, learn it, live it.

Isaac, I think you are adorable! And even if you say you were unshowable in highschool, I still bet you were cute in your own cute way. And my, you have blossomed into one fine looking man!

Now, about the show tonight, June 11,2009.

One of the themes.....ummm... The "B" ? Girls? Is this suppose to be the BITCH girls? The backpack that Angel opened where she had to design for "bitches" (I'm assuming that's what the "B" meant?)

So "bitches" are suppose to be associated with hip-hop?

Why?

Gee, I find this offensive, degrading and sexist -- especially it being 2009 and all, when we are suppose to be moving away from the degradation of people being referred to as bitch ho's,

>> not to mention an entire genre of music somehow being associated with girls being called "B's"....and this is somehow suppose to be ok????????

Doesn't this just fly in the face and continue the negative stereo-types that it's fine to call girls....female bitches? dogs?

QUESTION** Why in the world didn't the theme just say "hip-hop girls" instead of "B girls" ????? It would have made it much more clear and mush less misogynist.

You were wrong about the length of Merlin's sleeves. They were spot on. For the first time he got the gestalt right -- skirting overdone without crossing it -- and dropping them would've gone over that line.

Isaac:

I have heard your name before but I am not really very knowledgeable about fashion so I don't know much about your work. Nevertheless, I just love watching this show because I love watching you. You are so kind and sweet to everyone and I really enjoy watching a program where someone is so kind to others. Thanks for sharing yourself.

OMG! so excited to see Veronica on next week! Why is she not your c-host, instead of Kelly? You guys have always made such a great team! Seriously, Season 2- Isaac and Veronica all the way!
