James Paul- I think you should win because you def show something different. I like the way you think outside the box and you definitely show pieces that are intellectual. However, I think you forget you're designing for a woman. So show the best out of a girl's figure, capture that sexy silhouette. Yes, be authentic but make the girl pretty for heavens sake. No doubt you are talented.

James Paul I LOVED your dress. I really felt what you were trying to say with it. I moment the model step out on the stage with the dress it took my breath away. I really don't care what the judges say I loved the way the gold came out at the bottom. I love ya keep it going my favorite designer.

Thanks for a positive non-combative write-up. It is refreshing not to see dish but a supportive blog of the "team". It was evident in Haven's support of Reco at the end (and Reco's revelation of what she said) that there is more to everyone's relationship than what is edited on the show. Keep being positive. PS I loved your outfit and would have voted it in the top (unfortunately not over Johnny's) but I loved the print and design of the blouse.! Good luck

You may or may not take the top prize, but your success is inevitable because you think so far outside the box. You dont translate well in this venue because your creative fashion intellect is too sophisticated for the generic trendy masses. Your designs are analogous to the way Frank Gehry designs architecture - by throwing out the expected and seeking to create the shockingly and uniquely original. A far better path than Reco's uninspired retro red medieval costume.

I think this is the second week (after the prep one) that your stand out design went unnoticed. I think you really did a neat integration of styles that was more just the addition of topical elements to assert yourself as a designer, but a really thoughtful inspiration.

Plus, I appreciate your attitude since everyone else seems so nasty.

I think James-Paul will win. Drama gives the show ratings but that does not determine the actual winner. James-Paul is a true artist. He has the talent, brilliant talent, and is a sincere, open, spiritually aware soul. He has a signature style that is his own, and he masters it so brilliantly is belongs in the company of the Best of the Best.

james paul you are great. your style sense is fantastic and i think you will go far. this is a weird show. there is no mentor like on project runway. the 'judges' just come in, sneer at your work, give you no encouragement or help. it is not project runway for sure.

You had my favorite outfit this week. Other than your hateful comment about designing for plus-sized women (which I hope was taken out of context, or that you at least migh have since renounced), you have shown a lot of class. I'm rooting for you.

You are a class act James Paul. I like your style. I do not think you will win, not because your not the best, but because I believe the show wants drama for ratings and you are clearly Not. You will be more successful once your time is up there.

I think you are the most underrated designer on the show; You would have wowed Project Runway with you concepts and talent as a craftsman.

This New Version of Project Runway has a weird vibe; very in group--designer, & self referential--
a bit backword looking, while expecting people to have knowlege of every style going--I'm not sure how high fashion the Hip Hop BG Look is, but it should never have brought sneers about the the woman who tried her best to figure it out.

Hang in their, you have a great chance whether you sin or not, because you will be noticed!
