I was so excited to hear that our elimination challenge was to design an outfit for Tinsley Mortimer. She is beyond gorgeous. Her look was very edgy which I loved. I really wanted to do something pretty, fashion forward, and a lil’ sexy. I also wanted it to have a lil artsy feeling especially since my particular event was the art exhibition opening. I was completely in love with my dress and was excited as hell for the challenge. I was off to a great start for sure but that all changed real quick and became a hot mess. My bottom skirt was a challenge to fit my model because she was curvy and thick so I must say I skimped on the fit hoping to rely on safety pins for the day of the show to add shape. The judges really disliked my half-ass method and I was terrified I was leaving for sure. I was angry with my self and embarrassed to the point that I just wanted to go home. But after a lil pep talk and some explaining I calmed down and really realized I don’t want to leave. I wanna stay as long as I can and really be able to show America what I’m all about … no safety pins I promise … scouts honor!!!
I can understand your feelings, but to lash out at the judges was not cool. Use their critiques in a positive fashion and learn and grow with it. I did love your design, but it looked unfinished.
We love Johnny R. are friends and family come to my house to see the fashion show............ my god johnny R. we dont what you to go no no no no we like you to get angry and we whant to see what your all about!
If you can't sew, you'll be gone soon enough. Did you think there would be a staff of sewers to create your garments in the competition? I resent the crack about seamstresses, that's sexist. How about sewers? Real men sew, too.
Love you Johnny, Very proud of you. I'm keeping up with the show til the end, cause I know you'll be there. Hold that temper mijo.Well not too much ok.
Horrible, Horrible fashion sense! I am extremely open minded! Your attitude and mean spirit are old in the fashion world and not well recieved. It is insulting to the true artist/creators and professionals in the Industry. Who... Who... Who, designs clothes for people/public and then treats them with such disprespect and meanness? Do you get the correlation there? You are getting a taste of your own medicine here... I have NOT seen your portfolio, NOR do I want to. Your attitude blew it for me and your un-called for, Diva-ness! Harem pant? Are you kidding me? I have seen enough! You show no true passion for fashion in my opinion and seem very....very, lazy, in regards to the work and effort that goes into such a creation. Your draining! Hence, the getting on the show and making a quick buck! I wish you much happiness in your life.
I believe this was a set-up. If you could sew the red swimsuit-top of your dress, there is no way you would or should have to rely on saftey pins. Basting perhaps. I think is was a tactic by you or the creators to fake a controversy. Do you think your average audience is fourth graders? Anyone who has sewn would not believe the inconsistancies in your outfit.
FYI in the real world a lot of designers do not sew me being one of them. I am in looooove with johnny's designs and he is definitely going to win this b*tch! through the fire to the limits to the wall baby! HE IS A TRUE ARTIST AND SHOULDNT HAVE TO BITE HIS TONGUE FOR ANYONE!to johnny:like our big homie tupac said "keep ya head up".....
