I can't believe you were eliminated. You are my favorite in the whole show. That peacoat was amazing from the concept, the color and its parctical usefulness. As a fellow Latina I know where your aesthetic concept comes from. I bet you grew up watching all those Vanidades magazines. Good luck in your fture endeavors, you have a true fan in Puerto Rico.

I was totally blown away with the judges decided to eliminate you. I think that Johnny should have been in the bottom two. I don't know where i've seen johnny's design at but it was not original or fresh. Johnny's dress was old fashioned and it looked like something that i saw designed on one of the earlier seasons of project runway. I am so sad to see you leave and as a woman I did not find your comments demeaning. Actually you made me laugh some of those designers do not deserve to be there i.e. Johnny and Daniella.

I was so appalled by the judges' decision. Merlin is definitely a talent. I do believe that it should have been johnny and john paul in the bottom 2. Johnny's piece was a definite bore, and john paul's was hideous. Merlin has so many ideas to show. Doesn't he deserve a chance to improve himself? Yes. Did he deserve to be eliminated? Definitely not.

Take advice from Fern and "check your ego" at the door. Your constant criticism of everyone, especially the women/women in general will not sell your clothes, nor earn you respect when you design for women! It was very immature/rude/"poor sport" for you to hug the guys, yet, ignore the women when you exited last night. The girls took a lot of verbal abuse from you. There is a big difference in being confident and being just "cocky"/obnoxious like you (and Reco). The two of you talk about how great you are instead of "showing it". The women and James Paul are focused and ignore the drama. That is why they produced better garments. They also listen to the judges and think about what the challenge demands. They also think about what women will wear. That is a big part of this show, more so, than it was on Project Runway. I wish you well and hope that you will learn from this experience or you will lose customers, esp. the women.

I thought your last outfit was pretty good, although not many people would be able to wear it. You were very nasty about losing, though--there was no need for that ugly display. Work on your attitude, and your clothes will probably improve, too.

Hola Merlin, I gasped when they called your name to leave. I am sorry to see you go. However, you have a tremendous gift and you will do much with that gift. Good luck to you.
