Someday, Kim Kardashian's BFF — self-named "Foodgōd" Jonathan Cheban — would love to have kiddos. Or, you know: "food babies," as he called them when chatting with Page Six. But, that someday seems to be a couple of years out. Specifically, he told Page Six: "Soon... Give it two years for the food babies to start!”
At the moment, the social-media influencer is busy providing the ultimate word on where to eat and when, and racking up $2,000 dinner tabs indulgent enough to wipe out a college fund. And in the meantime, he's the proud father of... a brand new dessert.
Now on the menu at David Grutman's Komodo restaurant in Miami, the dish has a name that kind of sounds like something we'd call a late-night, drunken creation in college. Ladies and gentlemen, meet the: "Foodgōd Baked Alaska Surprise."
The dish serves as a delicious combo of all kinds of desserts, and it's made using cake batter, strawberry ice cream, funfetti cake, meringue, and cotton candy. Then, it's topped with Fruity Pebbles and white-chocolate Rice Krispies before it's lit on fire tableside.
It all sounds like an edible carnival, right? The menu even offers a disclaimer that the dish is bound to "flood your Instagram feed" soon. And indeed, the dish does have a visual appeal that's hard to deny. Behold it below, in all its pink glory:
Snap this dessert while it's hot, people! And in the meantime, Cheban has had plenty of interaction with offspring of the human kind, too. Of his famous bestie's new daughter Chicago West, Cheban said: "She’s very cute, she’s adorable. She was like an hour hold. She’s gorgeous."
Gorgeous, you might say, like a Foodgōd Baked Alaska Surprise.
