Khloe Kardashian Instagram: Flat Tummy Tea Ad — Jameela Jamil Responds

In addition to her role on The Good Place, actress Jameela Jamil has also devoted herself to another role that keeps her squarely in the public eye: crusading against so-called detox teas, marketed with weight-loss claims — and often by big-name celebrities.

She's already engaged in a social media feud with celebs like Cardi B for her promotion of the "nonsense" product, and has voiced being sincerely "sad" when Khloe Kardashian did the same in the past. And now that Khloe has promoted the product again on Instagram, Jamil is back with an impassioned plea — directed personally at Khloe — to stop the madness that perpetuates when celebs share false, dangerous messages with their followers.

In her latest monetized Instagram moment, Khloe posted an selfie, in which she stands in front of a mirror clad in a bra and jeans, with her full abdomen exposed. She captioned the sponsored post, "#ad Loving how my tummy looks right now you guys! I brought @flattummyco’s meal replacement shakes into my routine about 2 weeks ago, and the progress is undeniable P.S the shakes are 20% off today and you can get Flat Tummy Tea at a really good deal too. Go check it out!"

To that message, Jamil responded, "If you're too irresponsible to: a) own up to the fact that you have a personal trainer, nutritionist, probable chef, and a surgeon to achieve your aesthetic, rather than this laxative product...And b) tell them the side effects of this NON-FDA approved product, that most doctors are saying aren't healthy [...] then I guess I have to."

She continued, "It's incredibly awful that this industry bullied you until you became this fixated on your appearance. That's the media's fault. But now please don't put that back into the world, and hurt other girls, the way you would have been hurt. You're a smart woman. Be smarter than this."

Fans celebrated Jamil's response in the comments; Khloe has yet to respond.

Here's the post that spawned the feedback:
