I just watched your live matchmaking after your show. Every question someone asked is something that you say in your book. I bought it right when it came out. It really helped me. I decided to try online dating since i kept running into jerks. I went on 2 dates and decided those guys weren't for me and I didn't want to waste my time. Guess the third time is a charm cause this guy is the man of my dreams. If i wouldn't of read your book I probably would of blown it. F.Y.I i waited till we were dating to have sex with him. It was the best sex i have ever had in my life!!!! kudos Patti, you saved me :)

I love your show, and I've watched it since season one. I sometimes wish I was single, and younger to be qualified for the "Millionaire Men" that are on your show ( I hope my kids don't read this blog). You should have an episode or two for "mature women" perhaps from the age of 35 and up. Come on, do it!!! I am confused about one thing though, are all the millionaire men that are on your show Jewish, and must all the women be Jewish? The reason I ask is, 8 out of 10 episodes are about how, she's not Jewish and his mom (the millionaire's) wants him to marry a Jew. Does this mean there are no "Gentiles" or "Shiksas" allowed on your show? What's up with that Patti?

This man is not OCD, he is simply an older man who fell into a common a trap - he believes his own press and this has led to an inflated sense of self-worth. He suffers from hubris. He needs to be stripped down and stood naked in front of a mirror and asked - "Why should she want to get next to THAT?" Millionaire or not. Director or not. Man with the funny accent or not. Never, ever, subject America to Rupert again. I don't care if he is rich. His nasty, arrogant, over-the-top attitude is nauseating.

Seriously, the man couldn't even humble himself long enough to serve food to the homeless, without mentioning that he's a DIRECTOR! Did it not to occur to him that these poor souls probably don't have two cents to rub together, let alone twelve dollars to see a movie. What an insensitve royal behind (not the word I wanted to type).

If this is Oxford's best and brightest, then they should come and get him.

Is the skin color (white) a requirement to be part of the club? You know, a little more diversity wouldn't hurt your show at all and make us too feel like part of the "club". Hope you take it in consideration. Otherwise I like your show and personality, just wish I could identify myself a little more to those girls, and guys.

I love watching your show and listening to all the advice you give to both your millionaires and to their 'dates.' What I didn't understand was why aren't you as strict with the gay guys as you are with the straight guys on the show. I'm a gay man myself and didn't understand why you were okay with Smite and his date having a couples' massage and hot tub together. (Super romantic-btw) Are dating rules SO different for us gay men? What are our standards?

I really enjoyed last night's program. It just showed again how much Patti knows before the date even happens. I guess I'm a real romantic. It seems some people just don't listen to the matchmaker. They seem to think their way is better. (No wonder they are alone!) To take a girl to do volunteer work on a first date. WOW. Some people have no class. They are so into themselves. No wonder they are alone.

The date with Chad and Smike made me a fan of the show! I am a regular viewer now. You have got to do a follow up on them other than the bit at the end. The two of them could have their own show like a gay "Newlyweds". Loved it!!!

This episode easily comes out on top as my favorite episode. While I do like the drama that follows the Shauna episodes, I definitely enjoyed watching this uplifting episode and seeing the beginning of Smike and Chad's relationship.

Where can I find Mark? He seems like such a gentleman. I'd go out with him if the opportunity presented itself.

Patti, you made 2 nistakes last night at the aftershow interview :1. you said that you have nothing agains overweight women, but maybe Bravo has. Keep in mind that Bravo pays for this show! Don't bite the hand that feeds you! 2. when asked what age boy friend should Riki Lake look for since she is 40, you said 35 because if he is younger he might want kids and she is done. Does this mean that Demi should dump Ashton or Katie Couric end her relationship with her 17 year younger partner?

Love the show! I'm glad Patti kick out Shauna. She deserved it. She is in love with herself so she can not love anyone else. Mark is a good looking guy, I will date him and I am 45. Bad thing is when men your age don't want to date you because you are to much of a woman or more active than they are. In my case, the younger guys are the ones chasing me while the older ones either want you to be the hunter (we know it doesn't works) or be friends. I have a question: what is the deal when a guy is a friend (at least you think so) but then ask for pictures of you.

Patti, I absolutely disagree with you about the red hair women or the curly hair women. My girlfriend has stunning dark red hair that’s curly. That’s her signature, and everyone knows she’s approaching. I know from her stories, and from my encounters, guys complement her on the street all the time. I think that you shouldn’t be so harsh, because my red head is hotter than any straight hair blonde or brunette.

Patti , please please please some how let Marc know that not all women are like that. He is a VERY handsome man and most women would be happy to meet him let alone date him. I am not material for your show , not pretty enpough by Matchmaker standards , but please let Marc know that somewhere out there is a woman that is kind and will not treat him the way whats her name did.

I feel soooo bad for him and was extreamly upset at the way he was treated by whats her name. grrrrrr , how rude and mean she was , almost makes me ashamed to be a woman ( almost but not quite ).

Hopeful that Marc does know that not ALL women are like that and that someday he meets someone nice who will enjoy his company and all he has to offer.

The first word that comes to mind is classic! I must say im a huge fan of the show millionaire matchmaker, and i can honestly say iam a person who lives and learn vicariously through others and of course as well as myself, and seeing the guys on the show were awsome meaning my gays! But there was one man whom stood alone vibrant, youthful, yet classic gent. I have to say his zestful smile lite up the screen and his presence, stood humble, sensitive and powerful. His name is Smike! I really and truly enjoyed the episode in which he exemplified and showcase that "real" men and love real men and that not all gay men shouldn't have a stigma of being flamboyant, drama, and loud. Smike seemed loving, gentle, sensitive, solid mentally and emotionally, i must say im really glad to see a gay male to be seen in mainstream media on a network that showcases quality yet entertaining television

Loved last night's show! I look forward to seeing Patti become more familiar with the gay culture (and vernacular-haha) and with the numerous gay men that I'm sure are eligible, starting wtih Smike. I can appreciate why Patti (besides having similar astrology readings) is attracted to Smike. Smike has so many great qualities-where do I start! He is the type of man that men should aspire to be with (which is why I'm still looking-haha. He is accomplished, kind, caring, spiritual, successful, romantic, and just happens to be gorgeous! Did anyone else recognize Chad??? He was on the show Playing it Straight. For those who don't know, the show was about a group of men trying to play straight to get a girl to pick them. If she chooses the gay one, they win money. Amazing how the same people are always chosen for reality shows. Just an observation :)

Hello Patti- After this past Eastcoast blizzard I was forced to resort to reality TV. I'm not sure if I am a fan of you or the show yet; BUT for some reason I did find myself watching Millionaire Matchmaker. Now, the one question I have for you is: can you take it as much as you dish it?? You are a fast talker and an intelligent Jewish woman..I am familiar with this type hence I live in Potomac, MD (google it and you will know why). I would like to challenge you at your own game of love..Maybe a little East Coast vs. West Coast? Bravo are you in?

Surely you did not think that "Rupert" was going to be anything except a pompous jerk. He has fooled himself into believing that a 25-year-old attractive woman would want him for himself. If he were an office manager, postal worker or even an attorney in a mid-sized city, girls like he wants to be seen with would not give him the time of day. He would be best served by a date with a strong, self-confident and successful woman of color. No, I am not volunteering, but I can assure you that I, or any of my girlfriends, could whip him into shape in nothing flat. He has too many "friends" and lap-dogs telling him yes, and not one who cares enough about him to say "NO!"

I love the show and find Patti to be so incredibly funny. I love the way she challenges the straight men,in particular. She rips that insecure, ageist mentality to shreds and it should be done. What makes these older (40+) millionare men, most of whom are really not that good looking to begin with, think they are entitled to a gorgeous and unfortunately, younger woman? I believe it has something to do with not wanting to face their own inadequacies as well as ageing process. They probably were insecure younger men. And, I agree with Patty's diagnosis of a narcissistic, inadequate personality disorder. No woman young or older should give them the time of day until they do something about this narcissism. They would make a terrible mate!

On Rupert-Patti does an excellent job in summarizing that absurd date of taking the unsuspecting woman to a homeless shelter. What an idiot!

RE Smike: It's really nice to see a gay man on TV who is smart, successful, attractive and driven. Not the stereotypical drama queen. Keep up the great work with the gay division!

I love the Millionaire Matchmaker and I think Patti's coaching and style is right on most of the time, though a little hard core on the delivery. I am a 41 yr Single black woman and I'm surprised to see gay men on the show yet no African Americans represented on the show. Perhaps Bravo is looking at their viewer population (and us Black folks are out here, but i wouldn't be surprised if gays were a large % of bravo viewer pop) in targeting who to profile as Millionaires and the women they date. Other than the Destiny's child member, I haven't seen brown skin represented on the show. Frankly, it's not too appealing to me to see gay men hugging and french kissing, walking hand in hand. It's borderline for me NOT to watch, b/c it is a turnoff and I am definitely not very engaged in those "crossover" episodes, often changing channels. I guess I know who is working behind the scenes at Bravo and it's no one of color. I believe we should all have an opportunity to find love, but did you consider your viewers may not want to watch the affection and hear about who is on the bottom and who is on top, I mean, come on Patti.... Anyway, keep up the good work Patti, I really enjoy what you do and learn a lot from it.

Dear Patty, Your show is amazing. I have learned a lot even though I am only a teenager. Your shows are so funny, you tell it like it is even though it sometimes comes off bitchy but I LOVE IT!
