That woman, Shauna, is nuts. I'm a "woman" of 45, and would never date any "boy" younger than 40. And, yes, I'm hot. Mark is nice looking and seemed to be a nice man. Patti, look for my photo and bio - I will send it to you. Some women like Shauna give successful women a bad name, hence "cougar". To be called a "cougar" is an insult, not a compliment. When will women ever get that!

I can't believe shauna, she should have given Marc a chance. He seemed like a nice guy. I don't think that he would have found her attitude attractive. I am 41 and thing that he was a nice looking guy and I would have gone out on a date with him.

Mark suffered thru Shauna's freak out with dignity. Shauna needs mental help. She is not open or reasonable. I think what she secretly wants is Patti's approval and I don't think she'll get it. I feel sorry for Shauna. It's like she thinks she's Joan Collins on Dynasty.

Marc is wonderful!! Shauna has HUGE issues with her age. I have never seen a woman that has so little clue as to her real age; she really sees herself as still being 25. I am 48, fat, have a tummy full of scars from various surgeries and embrace every line and wrinkle I have. They are the lines of the story of my life, the good and the bad. How sad for her.... My husband and I have been married for 18 years, have a 14 year old daughter our house is filled with love and laughter... I am far richer than Shauna could ever hope for.

So I watched the new Millionaire Matchmaker tonight. I just want to say I am a 27 year old single female and I found Shauna to be a disgrace to all single women out there. Her actions towards Mark were disgusting and disrespectful. Patti drop that "girl" now, please. By the way I use the word girl because that is how she chooses to act. Also grow the hell up Shauna I agree you don't have anything special to offer and should probably just keep your ass in a very rural location in Minnesota.

Shauna was very wrong for ditching Marc. I'd have gone out with him..he's very handsome...I was set up with a 52 y/o at age 23....I went out, had a nice time...no other dates, but we weren't rude!!!!

Shauna has so many deep seated issues that she doesn't need a date, but a doctor. She was served Mr. Big on a silver platter, but acted out like a seven year old because she wasn't in control. She felt vulnerable because someone was actually focusing on her. I don't think she is used to that because when you date younger men, the focus is on them and their "younger" energy. She is going to wake up at 55 and wonder why she is still single.

I can see Shauna's reluctance because usually men over 40 seem to let themselves go and the older they get can get boring. However, Marc was hot! He is accomplished, takes good care of himself, has a personality and is willing to date a woman over 40. It was just 1 date and not a commitment to marriage. What is wrong with her? I would go out with him.

Patti what shawna or whatever her name was (it doesn't matter) did was wrong! I'm 35 and nice looking (I think) and I will date him (mark) he is very hot!!! I would date Mark!!! I am 34, educated, and best of all, I have a personality and it is a good one! What a horrible woman that Shauna was! Ungrateful person who will obviously be lonely for the rest of her life and must be satisfied with hot, young guys who just use her for her money. Suits her righ!

Another thought on Shauna is, "How in the hell did she accrue over a million dollars in a business that is all about catering to others and making others feel special?" Seriously, what she did to Marc--is there really any situation that a professional would handle with such a lack of diplomacy!?! She could have said that she wasn't feeling well or even that she felt she had made a mistake and was very sorry. The way she handled it was just childish, ridiculaous and beyond rude! Poor Marc and poor Patti!

Watched the show last night and agree with all the other comments. I hope that Shauna never returns for a 3rd match up. She is off her rocker. Yes, Marc is totally gorgeous and has totally sexy aura about him. I am married and in my 40s... wish some of my single friends could meet him. What a great catch Marc would be for anyone out there.

I love the matchmaker and I love Patti! I think Shauna is beautiful and successful, I can understand why she wants a younger man, but not in their twenties. And Mark was so nice and handsome. She should have given him and the date a chance. I think she would have had fun and liked him. I felt so badly for him! First of all I love your show! :-) Second of all where in the world did you find that sad little person named Shauna. It sickens me that in the world where a majority of men are completely disrespectful to women, any NORMAL woman would love a chance to meet a decent guy. Especially one that is nice and actually nice looking at his age, or any age for that matter. (Im in my late 20s and would consider dating him. Smile.) She acted like she was three years old, so what if he did buy a dress that was not to her liking, at least he tried. I sincerely hope that Mark finds a women that truly appreciates him. Because Shauna deserves to be alone, she really should be grateful that he even wanted meet her. So if she prefers to be treated like a "suga-momma" by some 20 year old then I hope they take her for everything she's got. Her actions were completely uncalled for and even thought I dont even live in the LA area, I wouldn’t given give her salon a try either. For those who want to know why she went running back to the hotel. I just found out why she left him. Yes his age was a problem but she knew his age. The problem was his hand looked/felt like her grandfather. Google: Robot House Post is in the front page... for now.

Commenting about Shauna is a complete waste of time that I'll never get back. So, let me comment about Mark. What a stunning gentleman!!! Sending a beautiful gift before even meeting his date. Limosine, a fabulous dinner planned, etc... Even the way he apologized when he was informed that the red dress didn't fit, was done with genuine respect and gentleness. He totally gets how to treat a lady and this lady appreciates that.

Zack was on Date My Ex with Slade and Jo. He was eiliminated in the final round and was a total tool.

I think that Shauna is on the show for all the wrong reasons. I think she just wanted to be on TV. I don't like her character at all; she appears to need help from a Doctor!

Michael seems to prefer a women who is older and less excited about life. The women he dated was awesome, 22 years old and full of a perky zest for life. I expect the ideal 22 year old from a great family to be just like her -happy, inquisitive and ready to have fun. She'll slow down in a few years maybe 10 years from now she'll be the more reserved girl he's looking for; so I think he should date older.

It kills me when older guys (30 years old) date young girls (22 years old) and then are turned off by guess what "their age"!!!!

Patty, kudos for trying but Shauna is maniacal and certifiable...however I did have a good laugh, at her expense, when she went bizarro. In my opinion, she was meeting someone that would be able to see right through all of her flaws and short comings. She likes "boys" that are mesmerized by her money, and she should stick with that. What everyone is saying is true about Shauna. Patti is blunt and speaks the truth. Shauna was rude to Patti, rude to Marc. She is scary and I think even if she did go out with Marc, he wouldn't want to see her again. I would have dumped her as a client as well. My opinion - the reason Shauna ran away from Mark is that she was SCARED of him. She ran away like a child. He is a grown-up man (STUD!!) who would get her number after one date. She may be able to hide her craziness from the young whippersnapper hotties, but not from a grown-up. And she knew it.

Actually, I was surprised that Patti set him up with her. It seemed clear to me that EVEN IF Shauna had accepted him, he would NEVER have been interested in that nut job. He seems like a complete gentleman, and what a doll! WHOA!

Oh..! What an episode. I was glued to the wreck that was Shauna. I cannot believe what she did. Not even a thank you for the lovely, thoughtful dress!
