When I saw Nick and Omar I thought Omar was a complete Hottie especially since I like Egyptian men. That's until I saw his date plan! LOL. By the end of the night I was cheering for Nick. I was totally surprised how Nick changed and went for Dakota. I am so proud of him! He's such a catch! Dakota if you don't want him a lady in New Jersey does! Patty- I absolutely love you! You speak your mind and it's so shocking how alot of these men don't know the basics and common sense. But that's what they pay you for, right? Your assessments are awesome! I want to visit L.A. just so I can attend one of these. You need to come to New Jersey and help the North East women. I love seeing all your love match successes.

Dear Patti,

I understand Omar's desire to have a meaningful first date that will provide insight into a possible partner's value system. I inherited a bit of money about ten years ago, and I too became concerned that dates wanted me for what I had in the bank. I was always worried about what I could lose, so I put up barriers to intimacy. As you can imagine, I remained oh-so-single.

When I finally stopped all that screening and took a good, hard look at myself, I realized that I wasn't going to find the love of my life by investigating and testing people - I needed to let go of my fears, take responsibility for my relationship successes and failures, and learn to trust my own instincts. Time to move forward.

After that I had no trouble meeting and dating interesting, intelligent men. Sure, there were a couple of money hounds along the way, but nothing I didn’t see coming from miles away. The truth is that the things I value the most, the causes I support and the interests I pursue, eventually brought me into contact with exactly the kind of men I’d always hoped I’d meet - and one in particular who I married :~)

Oy, enough about me already! I have some suggestions for five-star outings/activities for those members who want to do something more meaningful with their dates than wine and dine (or haul junk):

1) Go shopping for sailing gear – don’t forget the sunscreen and sunglasses! Charter a boat with a captain and a chef, and spend a day learning to sail together. Have a nice meal together on your way back to port.

2) Take part volunteering in a “hands-on” community project – then attend the Black-tie fund-raising event for the same foundation.

3) During the morning, arrange to have a private cooking lesson taught by one of the finest chefs in the city – then eat in his/her restaurant later on that evening.

4) Take your date to a museum that really interests you – a historical museum that relates to your work or perhaps a cultural event that spotlights contributions of people/groups that are important to you. Arrange for a private tour and a special meal in the museum’s restaurant.

5) Spend an afternoon learning how to assess and train dogs for use as service/therapy animals, then go out for lunch at a nice outdoor spot.

6) Take a basic acting class together, then see a play or musical, perhaps meet a few cast members, then go out for an après-theatre meal.

That’s all I’ve got! MM is a fun, upbeat show – keep those matches coming! Tell it like it is Patti!

Nick may be young but he is clearly focused. He is blessed with good looks, money and success but remains humble. When the time is right he is going to make a great partner.

Saw the show tonight and thought Omar was so cute. I'm a humble Texas girl, no where close to being a millionaire but am doing good all on my own. God honest truth wouldn't have minded going on that date. What he said about when things go south his girl might have to haul trash with him...It's so true. I guess throwing money around has never impressed me. I like a guy who is down to earth and real is what I look for in life.

I loved tonights episode with omar and his friend nick. Patti I really think that I would be a great match for omar. I am from tampa currently living in orlando and I get his sense of humor. I understand he has turst isssues with girls about his money and thats understandable. Im 23 years old and Im half Italian going to college to become and RN so I have my own dreams and goals and would not be after him for his money. I think we would get along great plus he is so handsome. I would love to meet him and have a least one date with him to show him that not all girls are golddiggers. Patti I think you should do another fix up with me and omar.

love your show

Oh. My. God. There is NO WAY in you-know-where that I would haul some jerk's "junk" after several dates, let alone a first date when I didn't even know him! And that poor, beautiful, good-natured girl! She had her pretty dress on and her fresh manicure and everything! I don't know what's going to happen, because I'm watching right now, but I hope that girl tells him that's the worst date she ever went on!

Junk? A Junkman? I love junk! Im wierd. I love everything about junk. I love to haul it, I love to turn it into beautiful pieces of art my whole apartment was made of junk and youde never know it. Im a union ironworker. A really tough hard working chick and would be a great employee of this guy. Im a first time watcher of this show and first time blogger. The word "junk" caught my eye and I continued to watch this show. my daughter hates any kind of junk, and it took a long time for her to respect my career, as well as my hobbie which is of course junk! The girls on this show- yuck! I guess that look is in. My kid, a student at Redlands university occasionly dresses like this when she goes out, otherwise her normal daily look is that of Christy Brinkly. Simone beautiful, as to why Im now blogging. I guess alot of women would think of that first date as hidious but I wouldnt. Maybe if I wasnt who I was, my kid would be thinking as most woman would about this guy; pretty junky. This guy thinks his money is his only asset. To date my daughter and possibly connect, money wouldnt be the reason. She has plenty of that as well. It would be great if Patti could set them up,and if he chooses to put my daughter to work well then Id'e tag along to pick up the slack. Cute show patty. Thank you

Congrats Patty on the wrist-straining ring! PLEASE PLEASE tell these millionaires to stop b*tching about dating women who are only interested in their money! If they are so concerned, why the hell are they in the "MILLIONAIRE" match-makers club? Join match.com and leave out your net worth! AND please feel free to remind them that they pay for your services to get very attractive women. So while she may be interested in his money - he is interested in her looks. Alls fair in love & war.

I really enjoy the show. The most interesting thing for me is the insight Patty has into men. Most of us don't see ourselves clearly; even when we look in the mirror. I just laughed out loud when Patty had Nick get an "express" haircut! I'm so happy Patty has found a man. Her statements about sex are "right on" also. I have seen most of the episodes more than once. I look forward to next season. I hope the series doesn't loose it's zip now that Patty is married. I also found it interesting that two of the other employees were married to each other; and even had a child!

Patti you r so cool. I just want to say that you don't have to explain your self to know one...what that b....ch did in your party was very low and mean...you are smart beautiful an great model for all of us...love ya and keep it up..you rock!

Dear ....., I would love to know how to get in touch with Queen Patti? I am a succesful, single, white Jewish female on the East Coast, which may be a problem being that Patti is on the West Coat, but there is never a better time than now to find out where the Heck is Mr. Right? Correct? Patti, love your ring and the additional happy factor in your personality. You are great! You call it like you see it! That is exactly what the male species needs, you cannot beat around the bush, it gets you nowhere. Any help for the East Coast gal looking for her male connection, I am definitely worth it!!!

Thanks for giving me the laughs! I really enjoy your show and Im continuously irritated at the dingbats you have. You should take your show across the country. Not everyone lives in LA and had thousands worth of plastic surgery. Alot of us arent "stunning" but pretty and smart. WTF?

Dear ......? I would love to know how to get in touch with Queen Patti? I am on the East Coast which may be a problem being that Patti is on the West Coat, but there is never a better time then now to find out where the Heck is Mr. Right? Correct? Patti, love your ring and the additional happy factor in your personality. You are great! You call it like it is! Men need that otherwise they never get it!! Any help for the East Coast gal looking for her male connection, I am definitely worth it!!! I am genuine, successful, single, Jewish 55 yr old female who is ready, really ready to be matched by you!! Please get in touch, I would be really thrilled to meet you and potentially my life companion. Thanks so very much.

Patti, I have to say the most refreshing thing about your show is the way you give these men and women a reality check. Some of these men and women think money gives them class and personality, and they just have NO CLUE what kind of vibes they're giving off. I've been single since my divorce for 5 yrs, but I've dated quite a few men to see what I want and don't want in a future relationship. It's been quite an eye opener...Love the show and love your book!

Pattie I don't know how you do it! But I must say, once Nick got that haircut, my whole impression of him changed! He is so good looking!! And I'm really starting to like his personality! He definitely has potential! I really hope he finds love soon because he seems like a great guy!

There would not have been a show worth watching if Omar had not chosen to haul junk. Omar and Nick are perfect freinds and partners, because they are both different in so many ways, but must have a great deal in common since they are freinds and business partners. Who wants to see two guys in their twenties zooming around in fancy cars and air balloons. It was much more fun following two completely different types of approaches to a date. They are both equally handsome, yes I know Patti is a little paritial to Nick for whatever reason, but I think she should take her hat off to Omar for helping to make this one of the best Matchmaker shows I have seen. Let's face it, it's all tongue in cheek. I think Omar and Nick should have their own show. They're funny, smart and boy are they easy on the eyes.Patti lighten up on Omar and give him a big thumbs up!

Patti is almost always right. I was a little baffled that Omar didn't listen to her when she said, "No, no trash hauling on the first date." Maybe he hadn't seen enough episodes of The Millionaire Matchmaker? If I wasn't engaged and if I lived in California...I'd try to at least meet with Patti for some dating tips. The woman knows what she's talking about!! Love you Patti!!

It's all about expectations. I would have no problem hauling junk IF I knew I would be hauling junk. The poor girl was told to get ready for a 5-star romantic date. She dressed appropriately and probably spent a lot of money to get ready (dates are constly for women too). Being told you have to clean some guy's basement, while you are in painful 10-inch shoes, is enough to build animosity in any girl. I was impressed by the girl's classy behavior. She was not rude, did not make a scene, but did not pretend that she liked the crummy date, either.

Dear Patti, I must confess I was not a fan of your show until very recently. I mean it's about millioners and the people they date. I am not a millioner and have never dated one, so I changed the channel every time your show was on. Once I couldn't reach the remote in time and I caught your rule about no sex until the couple was in an exclusive, committed relationship. I almost swallowed my toothbrush (toothpaste included), I was so shocked. I have had the same rule since highschool (I am 32 now), but the majority of the guys I've dated made me feel so uncool and old fashioned once they discovered my rule. I stuck to my guns but I've always hated having to explain my decision to them. Long story short, I am now one of your greatest fans. I love that you have rules about love. When everybody else seems to preach the same sermon "give him a chance you never know," your stance "cheater once, cheater always" is refreshing. There may not be recipes for love, but some guidelines are surely appreciated. I also enjoy your comments when you first review your client's video tapes. Many people nowadays have lost perspective of the world and their place in it. Everybody seems to fiercely believe (s)he deserves the best and when I hear their long list of requirements I have a strong urge to ask them "Would you like fries with that?" You telling the photographer that he wasn't exactly Keanu Reeves was the most honest thing I have heard, either on television or real life, in the last decade. We are so careful to be politically correct and not to hurt the other person's feelings, we even think in vague terms. Thank you for deciding to do a show. I am attorney but I do not think I could afford you. Yet, this way I get your advice for the price of cable service. :) You are a gem!

Been catching up on season 2 and anxiously awaiting season 3. I'm sure I'm but a handful of men (if any) who watch this show. It's remarkably painful to me to see my male brethren not have the first clue about how to treat women, how to court women, how to speak to women much less trying to find a match.

If I've learned anything it would be that millionaires are even more insecure than the rest of us. You would think having a fat bank account would/could buy some confidence. What it does seem to afford is a lot of material things in which they overcompensate for their shortcomings.

I'm anxious to see the millionairess from season 2 again and I just love, love, love how Patti keeps everything real and doesn't pull punches. I respect her honesty and bravery. In a city of phoneys, she has got to be the realest person there.

Patti I applaud you and congratulations on your upcoming marriage. Andy has got himself a real prize.

Your remarks on your latest trailer about a man's hands and feet are as appalling as some of the things you call men out for. Way to make yourself look really ugly, especially on the inside, which is what really counts. Looks only get you so far and only last so long, despite the botox, spray-tans, balloon lips, etc. ad nauseum.

I hope you'll stop putting men and women with less than perfect features down. It's degrading and disgusting.

I WAS ABSOLUTELY APPALLED TO SEE OMAR TAKE HIS DATE TO HAUL OUT JUNK!! HOW POSITIVELY LUDICROUS!! I REALLY CAN'T UNDERSTAND FOR THE LIFE OF ME WHY ON EARTH SHE AGREED TO DO IT - HOW ABSURD!!!! I WOULDN'T DREAM OF GOING WITH AN AVERAGE MAN TO DO SOMETHING SO PREPOSTEROUS, LET ALONE A MILLIONAIRE!! WHEN MEN JOIN YOUR CLUB, THEY KNOW THAT THE WOMEN ARE INTERESTED IN THEIR MONEY. IF THEY DON'T LIKE IT, TELL THEM TO JOIN A NORMAL DATING SITE WHERE THEY DON'T DISCLOSE THEIR INCOME!! IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!! PATTI: IF YOU KEEP THIS IDIOT IN YOUR CLUB, YOU WILL SERIOUSLY DAMAGE THE REPUTATION OF YOUR BUSINESS. HE NEEDS TO GO, JUST LIKE THAT JERK FROM LAS VEGAS LAST SEASON WHO TOLD HIS DATE HE WAS BROKE AND A COMPULSIVE GAMBLER. ENOUGH WITH THESE POMPOUS ARROGANT PRICKS ALREADY!!!

Patty you look amazing!!!!! I can't tell what all you have done but you have been successful. I love your show and I'd love to be one of your girls. Good luck with your wedding!

patti, where did u get that fab hot pink cell phone cover?? i must have one!

Patty, I love your straight forward approach and find myself agreeing with you every step of the way.

Would you be willing to put Tamra in the mix of woemn once she is available? Just wondering

Omg, so I just found out Patti your age & I wanna say you look awesome!

Hey Patti, I am very glad you too Omar out of the pict , people need to know that there is new rich guys that think they are way good.

Lesson 1 a guy need to know, you always must treat the girl right , no matter how money you have. Lesson 2. when you go a a first date you need to dress to impress and have your ride Clean, Picking your date on that junk car was so rude i cant believe that sexy girl after getting nice dress, and spend time and effort in looking the best, this #$%^&* guy comes on that.. She should have left right there. and never even go further. when i saw the show i though he has the last surprise to make her wash the dishes at the restaurant to pay for the dinner. what a LOSER Omar is.

OMAR good luck to you in Tampa or wherever you live, hope The whole US watches this shows and show who you really are.

Patti, After watching the show for several hours today and for the first time, I was very impressed by your candid no-nonsense approach. You do know what you are doing! Now, I am a millionaire, female, 52 years of age, and would like to know if you travel to other cities or does your show take place only in California? What do I need to do to hire you to help me? I live in Destin, Florida. Thanks,

Patti, You look even better this season! It's good to hear your of your personal engagement. Sorry folks were so tuff on you before. Obviously when a successful and attractive woman is single, she is single by choice. You knew what you wanted and were patient and tenatious! I don't envy your job, most of these guys (and MN crazy cougar) have serious issues. You are the Love Goddess

I thought Omar was adorable! I would hall junk with him - seems he just wants a girl who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty.

Patti,

Wow! I have seen some real characters before but this Omar really blew my mind. He was very easy on the eyes just until he opened his mouth. Everytime he talked I just wanted to throw my shoe right through the tv at him. I couldn't beleive he actually thought hauling junk was going to help him pick the right girl! If I was his date I would have flipped him the finger and told him where to shove it! I don't think I would have handled this Omar as well as you did. Kudos to you for that!

I'm sorry but I find it enlightening that he sees things this way!! I am not ugly but I am not "botox" LA.. I would haul junk with him if we clicked. He is REAL and that is refreshing. So nice to see someone else on the show besides botox queen bitch.

B.

i love pattis new hair!

Hi Patty!

I truly enjoy your show, and admire your skills as a matchmaker. Last night, unfortunately, I was very disappointed. Why? Because I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The commentary you made to Dakota while screening date matches for both Omar and Nick was very disrespectful. I wonder what you meant when you mentioned to her that " she needed to dress up less puertorrican for the mixer". I am a professional in the Human Resources area - and don't know if you have ever been to Puerto Rico but it is funny because we actually dress up from the same high end boutiques available on the mainland - drive the same luxury cars, have the billion dollar homes as well, and are educated, well versed, amongst other things.... We have millionaires just as in the mainland - but you know? In the end it is all good, Dakota was the one selected and the one Nick actually came to visit to our beautiful Puerto Rico island!!!!!!!

Best of luck to you!

Patti:

Love your show. A lot of dweebs with lots of money and hang-ups. Been divorced for 24 years and have no plans on sharing any of my hard earned retirement income with anyone but did have criteria for companionship. Hauling junk qualifies as a great conversation starter...my criteria is "if" I was looking for a companion, I want someone who enjoys cruising Home Depot or Lowe's or True Value hardware store on a Sunday morning. Up and down all aisles "window shopping." We used to do that in San Francisco in the 1960s when I was a kid. Spent thousands of dollars window shopping and here I am 50 years later at home-improvement stores. go figure. Keep all those narcissistic male egos in check. You do a great job at it. Another philosophy of mine is --Listen to what I say (and take my advice) because 5 years from now you really do NOT want to come back to me and say, 'I should have listened to you, you were right.'"

As an ex-air traffic controller (10 years) it is engrained that you should be correct when giving others directions. Duh!!

KP

I just want to say NICK IS GORGEOUS....the hair cut! He is so adorable! The best so far!

I'd haul junk for Omar. Just sayin'. Oh and I'm not a desperate loser either. He's worth it!

I was SO embarrassed to know these guys were from Tampa Bay. I thought we could put out a better product than a guy who wants a date to haul junk.

I think Omar lost out big time. My feeling is that when I ask a woman out for a date, she wants something fun and entertaining mixed in with a lot of talk. Hauling Junk on a first date is wrong, though he did make up for it a bit with the dinner. It would be nice to see another Canadian Millionaire on the show but I know that you have a hard time deciding who you pick anyway. Thanks for a great series and if you can't manage a season of MM in Canada, might I suggest Seattle instead?

I wonder if you ever dealt with someone in there early 20's that's never dated, flirted or even kissed? Someone's whose uncomfortable trying to go out and date. Someone who is unused to being touch in a intimate manner or being flirted with. What advice would you give that person. I thought that would be interesting. It's a random thought though.
