I absolutely love you! I love your no nonsense approach. Class, class, class all the way. Your rules totally make sense. I'm 46 and been married to the love of my life for 17 years(with 4 kids). I know I am very blessed. We did not live together before we were married. I came from an Italian family and it would have hurt them greatly...but to be honest the thrill of us moving in our first home together after we were married was just amazing.

I wish these older men would realize that us 40 somethings have so much more to offer them. We are not dried up old hags..in fact we probably have more experience in the sack then some of the 20 somethings. We certainly have more depth to our conversations... and we don't need to say 'like' every 3rd word of our sentences (sorry I am a professor and bothers me...LOL).
In any event...it is refreshing to see someone such as yourself promoting love in the right way.

What I love about your personality is how real you are. You dont pull any punches just like me. I am a part of the fabulous over 40 club and I work in a mostly male world and constantly get ridiculed for my high standards/expectations. My parents have 52 years and are still as in love now as they were 52 years ago and both have told me respect was a key ingredient in sustaining their relationship. You advocate the man being the man and the women allowing him to be a man and thats a distinction lost on most of society today. I feel what is lost in translation with some of these comments is you are 3rd generation matchmaker thats tremendous. The older I get the more I enjoy being treated like a lady. I have learned alot watching your show and try to take your insight and apply it to my personal life and hope someday to meet my Mr Wonderful and further hope he isnt intimadated by what I do.

I went on a first date this past weekend and came to learn that the 32 year old dentist sitting in front of me still lives with his mom and has no intention of moving out of his parents home until he gets married. Is this a red flag? I'm also a dentist and have lived away from home for 9 years now and cannot understand the NON-desire to want to establish your own living circumstance. I'm worried that he may not know to the 'man' of the house when he's never had one before. Please advise:)

I LOVE THEM and you wear them well for your age, which is something very hard to do for most women who are over their 20's. Stick with them, they are more youthful and flattering on you! Following your advice that the invitation for drink is an audition I reply to the guy who invited me to meet for a drink that I ‘m busy this week and I don’t drink. So next time he invited me for a juice or water. I told him perhaps hot chocolate after a good day of skiing would be great(since he found me through ski club website). His answer was Tap water for you…. Just want to notice that I was very polite with him. If I ‘ll keep turning down all drink invitations I don’t think I ever start dating anyone. What did I wrong in this situation?

I would like to commend you Patty on your ability and insistence to perserve integrity in a medium which rarely displays or rather allows for such an approach.

Now that you have broken some barriers with the last season I think one of the next barriers you should consider is international millionaires, and Canada doesn't count. But someone in particular I am thinking about is Rain (Bi) from South Korea. I recently became a fanatic of his and watched a bunch of his interviews on YouTube. Something that kept coming up was how lonely it has been for him and whether he has been living his 20's properly. Which is really sad because he could arguably be the most famous person outside the US with all he has accomplished in the last 7 years. He believes other people in their 20's spend their time looking for love and he is missing out on that. If you could reach out to him and help him understand what is holding him back from "his dream of having a family" then he can either come to peace with it or make a change. Your show is amazing and that is why I know you are the perfect person to help him because he is right up your alley.

patti,, really like your show, thought you might want know, that as a 46 year old business women in MN ,, i was skeptic of show and even you,! another "scripted" reality show!,,but honestly you project such a good attitude . Patti, your advice and insight is priceless and dead-on ... I find it to be 99% accurate (no one is perfect of course). I was married at 18 and divorced at 23, now have an 18 year old daughter myself, and got re-married for the 2nd (and last!) time when I was 41. I was a dating and active single mom for a LONGGGG time, believe me I know first hand about all the dating drama out there in the world. I find it somewhat of a miracle that I found my dream husband as a 41-year old single mom. But I say it again, Patti's advice and insight is priceless. If everyone would listen to Patty, 99% of the world would be happily married and raising beautiful families.

I loved this season so much. My favorite is when you gave Dave a taste of his own medicine with Johanna. She was sexy and funny and he couldn't deal.
