Patti Stanger shares how it feels to be back for love-struck second season.

on Feb 12, 20090

Hi! It’s so good to be back! A lot has changed since Season 1 — Alison is no longer with the company, my right hand Destin has been promoted to COO (best thing I’ve ever done), Chelsea is ready for love, Destin’s girlfriend, Rachel, is now our Director of Registration (more on that in future weeks) and me… well, my men have been listening, my girls have been happy and my boyfriend Andy and I are going strong!

Check your cockiness at the door, mister. And please...lose the corvette.

This past year both Chelsea and Destin have been matchmaking fiends — personally handling their own clients and getting them into relationships and helping me with the difficult ones. Speaking of difficult ones, can we talk about David and Brett for a minute? Let’s start with David.

When I went to David’s house and met his ‘butler,’ I was appalled. When I saw the Madonna/Britney kiss painting in his dining room, I was appalled. When he was fed grapes, I was appalled. When his ego wouldn’t stop… you get the idea. But I gotta say, he pulled it out in the end and really stepped up to the plate as a gentleman. A little more of that and I think he’ll find love. Check your cockiness at the door, mister. And please...lose the corvette.

What happened to Chelsea? I can't find anything, no mention of her getting married or fired- nothing. 3 season's then "poof" she's gone. I would love to know.

I've read some of the comments, I agree with the ones saying the show is wonderful, and I think the ones going on and on about how wrong you are for being rude and how much money you yourself must have are clearly written by cynical people. Dating is different depending on where you are, . You obviously have to be doing something right because people keep coming to you, and the millionaires are not paying *you* $70,000 to match them, but are paying your company. I'm sure you do do very well for yourself, but it's not like you get to pocket all the fees. But i still believe in love and i know love rules and flow in our veins.

Why was Harold ever cast for the Millionaire show? When I Googled him (yes, I Googled) I discovered he has been arrested, has ties to illegal drug deals, and was disbarred at one point in his career. I don't think setting up women with a man like this is safe or fair to those going through the process. What if someone did find love with him only to find out that his morals and ethics have lots of flaws?? What was Patti thinking? Why didn't she do her homework on him, and if she did why in the hell did she decide to cast him without disclosing to her candidates the background of this "man"???? Grrrrr!!!! Who cares if he is a millionaire with the rest of his background?

I've read some of the comments, I agree with the ones saying the show is wonderful, and I think the ones going on and on about how wrong you are for being rude and how much money you yourself must have are clearly written by cynical people. Dating is different depending on where you are, you cater to the LA regions and those are the regions that matter. You obviously have to be doing something right because people keep coming to you, and the millionaires are not paying *you* $50,000 to match them, but are paying your company. I'm sure you do do very well for yourself, but it's not like you get to pocket all the fees. I know you know all this, so the comment is more for other people to see. Brutal honesty is the best course of action when it comes to these things, some people apparently don't know that, and that's fine because they don't require your services. For this episode I felt that you had a challenge before you with both men and I applaud you for finding anyone who was willing to go on a date with either of them. Brett sounds like a heartbreaker with his distractable mind, and David should just marry himself and get it over with. I hope they take your advice to heart, for their own dating good.

Hi Patty!

I have a slight problem with something you said on your premier show about Bisexual women being the mother of their children and them leaving their men for other women.

I happen to be a monogamous bisexual and have fully been in love with my husband of 8 years and we have two gorgeous kids. Yes, I have dated women and men. But, I chose my husband because he is the love of my life.

You might want to take a course in real love because it comes in all forms and sexualities.

Hi Patty. Usually, I very much enjoy your show, but as I was watching today I saw an episode in which you said "bisexual women are not what you want for the mother of your children, because they can always leave you for another woman." As a bisexual woman, I was /FLOORED./ Couldn't a straight woman always leave you for another man? How are bisexual women somehow more unacceptable? I have /NEVER/ cheated on a partner, because when I commit, I am completely committed to my partner. Your comment was very homophobic and ignorant, and I hope you'll examine that and change your views.

"Millionaire Cougars on the Hunt!"

Yea maybe kind of tacky, but I would love to watch it-I am 30 yr old married woman and happy! I would totally LOVE to see a room full of attractive 40 something men swooning over a 50 yr old attractive woman who has her shit together! TURN THE TABLES!!!! Its women who watch this stuff--GIVE US WHAT WE WANT!!!

"Millionaire Minxes MATCHED!" LOL!!

You tell the women to look "hot", push the boobs up and out, lose weight, wear high heels, etc., then you tell the men to look for "inner beauty" and not to dare think about sex.... to look at these women, but, don't touch.. Well, then why do you send them out on a first date looking like hookers?
