Patti hires Destin's girlfriend, Rachel, as an assistant to answer phones and coordinate the countless club submissions they receive daily. Now that she has the two longtime lovebirds right under her nose, Patti does everything she can to encourage Destin to pop the question.

Patti gets an unexpected surprise when Chelsea tells her about her new client, who happens to be a lady millionaire. Heidi Cornell is drop-dead gorgeous and the CEO of a high end fashion label called Young, Fabulous and Broke, available in such stores as Neiman Marcus, Planet Blue and Fred Segal. Initially Patti is hesitant to take on Heidi as a client because based on past experience, millionairesses are much more difficult to match. But after learning Heidi is 40 and a single mother who has encountered "ageism" in Los Angeles, Patti softens and relates. Patti’s other client this week is tall, dark and handsome Bill Brandes, a 45-year-old Canadian hotel executive who has flown into Los Angeles from Canada just to meet with Patti. Although he’s charming, Bill is also an ageist. He wants children and a large family, and as such, has no interest in dating a woman even close to his own age because “her eggs are dried up.” Bills wants to fly his date on a private plane to Vancouver Island where he will pamper her at his resort. But, can Patti find an age appropriate woman he will accept?

Patti throws a mixer for Bill and Heidi – the first of its kind where men and women end up mingling with each other. As Patti observes Bill and Heidi at the mixer, Patti’s matchmaker instincts kick into high gear and despite Bill’s insistence on younger women, she thinks Heidi might be the match for him, if only he doesn’t find out her age.
