Hi Patti -
I recently had some minor surgery done. With the many follow up visits I've had I have become very fond of my doctor. He usually sticks around to talk to me about other things if he's not too busy. I want to find out if he's interested in me but not saying anything because of our doctor/patient relationship or if he is just a nice guy. How do I subtly let him know I'm interested?
Thanks!
AMC

Sounds like he has some GREATTTTTT bedside manner! This is a fine line question. What kind of surgery? How much time did you have to spend together? Are you sure he’s single? A close friend of mine had a very similar situation – it can get sticky. Get him out of the office into a social setting (like a party) where the two of you are just PEOPLE – not doctor/patient...then see if sparks fly.

Hi Patti!
I love your show. I watch it every week religiously. But I want to know more about YOU and YOUR relationships! How did you meet your boyfriend? What's the best date you've ever been on? Alex

Well, if you listened to my new radio show on XM Pink 22 and Mix 24 every Sunday at 3PM Pacific, you’d hear me talk all about him! My co-host, Destin (from the show) is always bringing him up! I love Andy – he has a heart of gold… a matchmaker wanted a job with me, I said if she finds me a man, she’s hired – Andy was the first date she set me up with.

Hi Patti,
I love your show and would like to ask you a question. I have been married for two years to a man that treats me well. The only problem is he has more female friends than I do. Do you think it's OK that he talks to them on the phone when he is at work and bored in the middle of the night because I am sleeping and he cannot talk to me?
Joann

A friend is a friend is a friend…. Does he have feminine energy? Do you know them? Do they serve a function besides friendship that you don’t? Honestly though, midnight calls with girls? What happened to late night TV or a book? Sounds fishy!

Quick question.
I've been currently dating my b/f for about 5 months now. He suddenly had an out burst where he started screaming at me due to all the stress he's been under. Although we've discussed how to solve this problem and have him handle it correctly, I'm still startled by what happened. Lately any loud noise triggers my mind into believing he's freaking out again. Basically my mind's making bad associations and is believing everything he does is an out lash of some kind. I'm thinking about leaving, but at the same time it's not fair to just leave if he's going to work at it (and has). What do you think?
Thanks.

I think it goes deeper than just that. If you’re thinking about leaving, there’s usually a good reason for it.

Hey Patti,
I went on a first date with a guy, and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I get the feeling he'll call for a second date...should I take it, or not waste my time?
Thanks!

Men sometimes need to be driven twice around the block before you decide to take him off the lot. If you’re thinking about a second date this much – you should probably do it.
