I just watched the recent episode where Patti told a redheaded man to dye his hair because she dislikes redheads. That is like asking an African American person to dye their skin because she doesn't like their skin color. I am shocked that bravo would allow this kind of behavior on their network. We live in America where no one should be judged especially by the color of their hair. The comment was so immature and ignorant and Patti should publicly apologize for it. This kind of treatment dates back to when White Americans were prejudice towards African Americans. I am no longer watching this show because people like Patti are the kind of people that are bringing our country down.
I love the show but i dont understand why u hate red heads so much.. i have red hair my self (auburn)and i love it... and i dont understand why u dont like us red heads, yeah were hot tempered and high mantnence but we are probably the people with the biggest heart and a sweetheart!! Please explain
"Makes gay look like a party I don't want to attend."
Patti, I was a fan, but you are prejudiced. Matt was right. You want gay men as shopping buddies not human beings.
I would like to know if Patty can make it through an entire episode without freakout and yelling at someone??? More and more I dislike this show. I feel like this season it's all about how many times they can bleep out Patty using the F-word and watching someone getting kicked out of her club...... Not to be harsh but it's getting really boring... Also I feel like the redhead thing is very unfair, some guys and girls really like redheads, and are attracted to redheads. I don't think it's for Patty to decided if someone should change the color of their hair. Asking someone to change their hair style - sure thats fair.
I am also getting more and more turned off by the tirades and swearing from Patty. This show could be so interesting is she acted professionally, like her employees do. I guess it depends what viewing market Bravo is catering to with this show, but as a 50 something year old - Patty's reality has lost my interest . More professional matchmaking - less profanity and screaming .
Patti I love when you use Yiddish expressions but may I correct you please. You said someone was making you "mashugana " meaning yourself. Proper use of the word is they make you "mashuga" and that person is a "mashugana" or the whole crowd are "mishagoyem". Keep up the good work, I wish you could find me a guy but you don't handle 76 year old women. "goot getun"
Patty, I love you're show! I have to ask, do you ever work with us little people (in dayton, oh)? I would so love you're advice and try my best to do whatever you ask!!! I just turned 36 and ssooo want the right man! I would greatly appreciate any advice!!
You're not age-ist or gay-ist: you're schmuck-ist! I can see how it might be extremely frustrating to serve clients that are at your door because of their social issues and it's probably wise you don't carry a concealed weapon. A little yelling is no big deal. Good luck and thanks for the entertainment.
Hi Patti, I can see that dealing with people on the East coast is driving you crazy, just as you got fed up with the West coast. How about moving the Midwest next season, where people are more grounded and down-to-earth? I would love to see you do some shows out of Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, Tulsa, and even Minneapolis.
Patti, I am a very successful professional woman. I am the first woman to hold my position in the 112 year history of the job. Professionally I am on top; personally my life is in the toilet. I am very independent and have been divorced for 16 years. I have been in the wrong relationships my entire life and as I get close to 50 I find it more difficult than ever to find someone. I tried “It's just lunch” and it was the worst experience that I could have imagined. I was set up with convicts, men without jobs and men who just lost their wives and was looking for someone to sleep with. I am cautious but with my history I have to be. I know you receive these requests everyday but I am desperate. My parents have both passed away and I have no children I am tired of being along. Where are the good men? I can't seem to find them here in Ohio.
I felt like I had to write this after reading all these horrible comments. Patti is an INDIVIDUAL. She is entitled to HER opinions and she is entitled to her own unique taste. She happens to not like redheads and she happens to not like curly hair and she happens to not like short hair, etc, etc. Who cares? That is HER opinion and HER taste and this is HER show, if you don't like it then CHANGE THE CHANNEL! If say a redhead decides to go to her for advice then that means he/she accepts to do things HER way, and if HER way is dying their hair another color then so be it! They ask for HER opinion and that's what they receive. She shouldn't have to edit herself and be fake for the sake of pleasing all her viewers. Go Patti! If you're reading this, I love you! I don't agree with some of your opinions but I respect you for being honest and true to yourself.
!!!!** tonights CSI Miami, S9 E10, 'Match Made in Hell' (1/2/10) is a take- off of your show!!! the 'matchmaker' even uses your rules & lines... I haven't watched the whole thing but wanted to get this info to you asap. **!!!!
Patti, how do we get bravo to show how and why u have such a great success rate. They did that in season 1. Now they're just showing u yelling almost every episode.
I am a 42 year old lesbian who has an open heart. Finding someone who also has an open heart has been a challenge though. Am I am looking for too much, you tell me? I believe in opening the door for my date,(Opening the door should not stop once you are a couple) if she is sick I would like to make her soup, sit with her head on my legs while I play with her hair, on a rainy day walk hand in hand on the beach, take her away for the weekend just because, and just love her with all my heart. I do not understand why Valentines Day I once a year! I believe it should be everyday. Show the person you love everyday with a love note, with kisses, by washing their car yourself, when she gets home from work having dinner with candles ready, a soft touch as you walk by each-other, there are so many ways to show how special they are to you. So why is it that I have a hard time finding someone who can have an open heart as I do?
Patty, I love you even though you are outspoken and a bit on the cruel side at times. But tonight when you really should have been on top of it, you slacked. WHY DIDN'T YOU MAKE THAT OVER SIZE WOMAN GET A MAKEOVER? HER HAIR AND MAKEUP WERE HIDEOUS!! You give the other people on the show hell. But you let her look like a friggin' clown and she needed all the help she could get. Also why didn't you talk some sense into her when she picked the gold digging plumber? You really let me down tonight Patty. I wanted you to let her have it!! It's YOUR JOB!!! Come on down to Miami baby!! We need you here to educate these men who have no idea how to treat a woman.
i though how rhett handled the date was extraordinary; tossing water was the LEAST he could have done! just adorable and if i didn't have a husband of 9 years who i'm still insane over i'd write to patti and ask for his number!
Patti , I love yor show, Thank you so much , I would like to meet with the Russian lady, she is my mach...(very nice) I wish you the best for 20011 and happiness for all your staff.keep it up girl You makee People change there prespective of love... And when they see Reality ,People Undertand Life ....
Dear Patti, After seeing that dispicable gay "diet cookie demon" into barely legal young gay men made me want to "toss my cookies!!!!!!!" First off, he inherited that business not created it. He is nothing more than miserable angry spoiled brat who deserves to die alone and a slow horrible death at that for he made me so mad!!!! The man is full of hate, he cannot love anyone except money!!!! So I am gald you threw him and out and called him an a**hole!!!!
I used to be a regular viewer, but I haven't tuned in for some time. After watching most of tonight's episode, I remember why I no longer tune in. Patti has completely disregarded showing respect and good manners toward her clients. She mocks them with her employees prior to meeting them, or later behind their backs once they've gone on their dates. The chosen millionaires are eccentric for eccentric-sake. Many are not that serioius about "being ready for love," as Patti used to preach in the early seasons. I enjoyed watching season 1, but I won't make the mistake of watching another episode with all the current ranting and raving going on. It's not even close to believable anymore -- just people who want to get their few minutes on the small screen and Patti screaming at them. Do I really want to subject myself to watching her stand up out of her chair, and finger-point someone's chest in between her getting bleeped for the "f" word multiple times? No, thanks.
It's sad but I have to agree with you. Sorry Patti, but when you're dealing with such personal sujects as looks, love and personalities a tactful approach or at least polite one gets better results. I have a hard time watching you insult people. I just can't bear to watch anymore. Your advice is sound and helpful, but if you think that it's entertaining to watch you berate people then I am dissappointed.
Ay Elana was Gorgous, She needs to move with with Hue Heffner, She could have foudn the right man, But that chick running the show isnt a good recruiter. Elana needs to run the show lol that girl was fun to look at.
I LOVE Patti Stanger...just something about her. Anyways, I think she's beautiful, a great business woman, and has a fun personality. I read one comment about someone thinking she has become disrespectful to her clients, but I think she has to be outrageous in order to get ratings. People love drama and real life is boring. I think that's why she has to be obnoxious on the show; otherwise, it wouldn't be interesting. Anyways, I am a life long fan of the show. Go, Patti!!
