Season 3
Season 2
Season 1
Third, I saw it as a challenge. A lot of people that go on the show come off looking, well, bad, and I thought, "I'm not going to let them make me look bad, I'm just going to be myself and hope I come off looking good." I feel like I did.
Fourth, I did it for the opportunities it might create. Who knows where this will lead me. I already have the feeling that good things will come from this. Actually, they already have. All the great comments have made it worth the effort. From here on, everything else is gravy.
And who knows, maybe Odee (my pooch) and I will find true love? I hold onto the thought that maybe someone will see me on the show and say, "That's the guy (and girl) for me!" Sorry, we're a package deal.
I get that my lifestyle is not for everyone. But I do believe that there is someone out there that would love to lead a simple life, filled with love, laughter and adventure, with a guy who says it like he sees it, is true to his word and knows that all the money in the world doesn't mean a thing without the love of friends and family.
Thanks for reading!
Peace,
PJ
PJ, You were awesome on the show. You will get many propositions and several proposals. I look forward to seeing you find love. Invite me to the wedding, please! Good luck on your adventures! Linda
I found you to be cute and charming in your offbeat ways, PJ! You live life to the fullest. How many people can say that?
I am confident you will find true love. Thanks for sharing the experience with your blog!
PJ,
I think you're great. I loved your smile and seeing you smile put a smile on my face. You're so happy, so full of life. And by the way you looked hot wakeboarding (Not bad for a 43 yr. old). What I like about you is how you like the simple life; how being able to make someone laugh makes you happy. You don't seem like the type of person who money makes him the person he is, you are who you are regardless if you have money or not. Do not change. P.S I hope you reply back to this email/blog. Enjoy you're weekend. ;-)
Sincerely, Liz
i think you came off a good guy which was a nice break. i'm sure you'll find love when you least expect it. best of luck, PJ! i
Dear PJ
After reading your blog and meeting you in person today, I have a better interpretation of why you did the show. You are absolutely correct. You have to make the choices that are right for you, no one is going to do it for you, especially today. You are upbeat and very positive that is why you are very successful and an entreperner. Negativeness is what is ruining this country along with stress, people should smile more it keeps wrinkles away! I'll talk to you soon.....
I liked you and found you to be laid back and easy going. . just one question . . you never answered Patti's question about the weed? Do you or don't you? (I don't care either way but was wondering if it got edited out). Best of Luck!
Hi PJ - thought you were great on the show! So Patti doesn't send you on any more dates off the air?? Hope you find what you're looking for!!
I thought you were great. The ease you had just doing what you enjoy is priceless. I agree about living life to make yourself happy, If you are not happy, you cant share that with anyone else either. I hope the island is good to you, I hope you catch some sick waves, and I hope that whatever flies your way, you enjoy the journey. Loved the show, just started watching. Do you know how to get into the "pool" of choices for the men???? Living in Vegas is hard for the dating gal. Happy New Year and Cheers!!!!!!!!!! Sandee
You showed respectably & seem like an easy going person. Be honest though, you wanted to market yourself in the broadest arena possible.
Spending six months of the year on an island means your true love is either going to be a woman of means (who can conduct her business from her laptop, trust fund baby, etc.) or is going to be totally financially dependent on you (big red flag). It's about more than the right chemistry.
Hope this exposure creates opportunities for you (have the "fans" started to crawl out of the wood work yet?) to realize your ideal relationship (if you're sincere about that) while avoiding the needy.
i didn´t like you in the show especially but after reading your blog i am infatuated, love your spirit!!!!!!!!!!!! i want to visit your islanddddd how can i contact you?
WOW! I hope I meet someone as amazing as you someday, you're living my dream! House on an island, hangin at the beach.. sailing with your dog! That's the good life! I want to be just like you when I get older.. Notice I didn't say "grow up." Honestly, who wants to grow up?! Peace and love!
Enjoyed you on the show. Was terrific to finally see 2 couples each have fun on their dates b/c it contributed to my hope. Had a sense of deja vu while watching the show and your "What If" statement added to it. Happy holidays! (PS ~ I love Ruth's comment. You had better invite her to dinner, or r u chicken?)
It was my first time watching the show when I saw you. You were perfect before the haircut and clothing change! I think you are awesome just the way you are! I am not afraid to try anything, I am an advanced certified scuba diver and was Miss Colorado in the Miss America Pageant. I own my own business that runs itself and have a lot of time on my hands. I would love to meet you. I am hoping the show can give you my email that I submitted with this post!
PJ, I didn't think there was anything wrong with your hair color or any of that. Yes you did need some clothes since you really can't go on every date in t-shirts and jeans. That being said, as an old grey haired man myself, for a man to dye his hair and such is really false advertising in some ways. Trying to present yourself as someone you are not which is what you were trying to get at with Patti and she wouldn't listen to. I meet and date more women because I am who I am and am confident in myself than trying to portray myself somewhat differently than I am including something as simple as hair dye. It's just not me. I agree you got to be yourself.
Hello P.J., I dated a man for 6 yrs and our dream was to buy a sailboat and sail around the Bahama's chain islands and scuba dive. I live in Florida. Unfortunatly, that never happened and we broke up. You definitly fit my dream, if you like scuba! I feel like I am in heaven when I dive..it is so very peaceful and spiritual! I too have had some health problems and they are now getting better. When someone leaves you when you are down, that is NOT the person for you..and that is what happened to me. I wish I had met you instead of this other man. I am a few yrs older that you though, but very active. I wish you well and always just be yourself! I too think it's awlful for someone to tell you that you look old! You look great to me!

PJ you should have picked me. I would have tried the wake boarding even if I was going to do a faceplant LOL. Ruth ( the blond first choice)
