Irv's Nerve
Rachel praises Irv Richards' bravery and knows that we could all learn from his awesome attitude.
Jan 29Now back to sweet Irv. It was so much fun doing the one-way mirror, as we wanted him to really pick properly with, of course, the help of Denise and yours truly. Sherilee was the most amazing woman for him and I just knew those two would be a match made in heaven. Irv was the poster boy for chivalry, complete with sending a car to pick her up, flowers, cooking lessons, and dinner outside amongst the waterfalls. The burnt sugar on top of the Baked Alaska was when Irv complimented Sherilee’s eyes. Now that, my friends, is how it’s done!
This week made my heart sing, and goes to show you that love doesn’t end- it can keep on going forever, no matter what age you may be. Take note out there, men under 60: you just witnessed how a man should be.
As for you, “Squeaky” and Brad: sloths, owls, and 2,000 Facebook friends... Yeah, that’s just swell.
oh dear... i just saw the end of the episode. I guess Irv and Shirlee have found a connection with ea other. I wish them well....BUT.. If it doesnt work out, Im here. Rachel call me, here at home, ask me anything. Im an open soul. Ok then... sweetness and Peace...
I was just telling someone today, how I need a man who has grandchildren. How I'm ready to hear the words GRAMMA!... I almost fainted watching the show tonight, cuz. I watched Irv talking and revealing what his wants.. how he lives. So much like mine. We would look good together.. I raised my hand in my apt, and said 'Im right here!". Silly, right? I am 55 (born in 57.. year of Fire Rooster.... LOL).., thin, 5'7... live in Bay Area. I am highly spiritual, sweet, soft, and yes, I have an edge. I decided to write this in your blog . I have no idea how to get a hold of Irv, but... maybe you will see this and tell me how... Thanks Patty and gang..

Id hate for her to turn into a YELLING SCREAMING ABUSIVE golddigger who treats him like crap and takes him for a ride.................she looked like she was hiding something to me
Stephanie is a great girl, never mind her voice. She is pretty, intelligent and has great personality. No need for mocking her. Guy whom she dated was super-jerk. And she was a lady all the way through, she didn't make any digs at you for your professional failure.
Just catching up on my episodes and want to tell you I think you look amazing! Love the show and your playful chemistry with Destin. Congrats on the wedding! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness!
Why the digs at Stephanie? I thought she seemed adorable and very sweet. I sympathized with her for her irritating date. I have been out with "movie reference guy" before (not that particular one... but there are a lot of guys out there who think a sense of humor entails referencing the right movie at the right time.... ARGH!).
LC411 I know! I swear half the people who come on this show have motives, to sell their company or something. Patti shocks me at times, but she sure knows her craft.
Loved Irv, also. He deserves to have love again. xo
