Season 2
Season 1
Hi Everyone!
We are back... bringing you season three! Very exciting.
Taylor being fired came as a complete shock to me. One day she was there and the next day, she was not. It was obviously upsetting to me because Taylor and I had become such a good team working together. To have your partner just taken away from you with no notice is quite jarring. It was tough at first getting used to her her absence. As you could all see from the past two seasons, she was a very vocal and present force in Rachel's company. The world doesn't stop though and the work kept coming in, so we just continued working away.
We needed to hire someone, but Taylor's shoes were going to be hard to fill since she had been with Rachel for so long and everybody was familiar with her. I knew though that once awards season started we would need an extra set of hands. Jordan, who has been with Rachel as an full time employee for over a year now, was so amazing through this process and transition. We couldn't have done it without her. She really began to step out of the wings and on to center stage, so to speak. It's been really great watching her grow! After interviewing quite a few people, Ashley was definitely the most qualified candidate and we felt really certain that she was the girl for the job. I had heard amazing things about her through the grapevine, as had Rachel, so she was hired. I don't wanna give away too much... she is great!
Our first major job without Taylor was the Harper's Bazaar cover shoot with Demi Moore. I absolutely love working with Demi. She is so elegant, graceful and beautiful. She is SO much fun to dress! We've had many great moments this year with her, but this shoot is definitely the highlight. Giraffes, mice, oversized chairs, kiddie pools...AMAZING!
Things were off to a good start and I am interested to see what you think of the new hire, Ashley. You get to see more of her next week when madness ensues around the Golden Globes.
Hi I have been lucky enough to watch snippets of the show and I love it! I am so glad Taylor has gone, I could not believe her attitude, even if she had worked for Rachael for sometime and was good at what she did, that does not mean to say she should have the attitude that she had, at the end of the day Rachael employed her, not the other way around. As I said I have only watched snippets of the show but I did see the show when you first joined and I think you were so sweet, she was so horrible to you, I really felt for you and I think you and Rachael are very good for each other and I am glad it is working, you both deserve each other, I can see you respect Rachael and she appreciates you too. I too would love to work with you two, I love fashion and I think you seem a really genuine and nice guy and Rachael comes across very well too. As they say here, 'keep rocking', the show is great and I envy you both, what great jobs you have although I know there is a lot of hours you both put in and I am sure th rest of the team. Take care Simone
Brad, I'm just going to give to you straight!=) I fit in so well to work along side you and the others. If there is a need for a positive , hardworking, fun, ethical, loyal, chic girl who is getting a divorce after 19years and can't wait to start her life in a manner that was worth all I went through... If there is a job opening please let me know , even as an intern or anything, just an extra hand. I am very responsible and dedicated and I believe you will not regret getting to know me. In all honesty I am so alone and to work amongst you all would be a true blessing at this point in my life and I will do my best to handle what is given to me. If this was too outward I apologize, I always take detours from the typical! I love to watch the show and I love each and every one of your personality's especially the ZOE!!!!will still be watching my fav. show regardless xxxx
blessings,
lili
Go Brad! I love you and Joey!!! No more Taylor, no more MS. ANGRY ALL THE TIME! Good luck to you :-)
Taylor was too negative. It's a breath of fresh air without her. You are doing great! Stay fun, and positive. KJ
I just began watching the Rachel Zoe project, and all I can say is thank god. Had I started watching this incredible show last season, I would have missed out on all the beautiful dresses and sparkly jewels because of the giant negative attitude that was Taylor. I would have immediately stopped watching. Her presence actually took away from the magnificent work that the team was presenting. Every time she came on the TV I quickly lost sight of the Oscar de la Renta gown for Jennifer Garner, or the Marchesa ensemble for Cameron because of the ugly uglyness. I have learned so much already from the few shows that I've seen and can't wait to continue to learn from the pain staking work that Rachel and the team do. Remember in life and in fashion, your either daring and adventurous or your boring. Keep daring!
Brad, in your blog you make it seem like you and Taylor had a friendship, & even kind of said that at the beginning of Episode 1, like how you guys bbm from morning til bedtime. But quickly after that you are bad mouthing her. When you said that her being gone was your "burned my bra" moment, I sensed that you likely spent your entire "friendship" with Taylor being jealous of both her talent & relationship with Rachel. You accuse Taylor of trying to make you seem incompetent, but you clearly were at the start & her guidance (no matter how tough) was essential to you even having your job today. For you to join in bad mouthing Taylor, who doesn't have the same platform to defend herself just shows how catty and fame-starved you are.
I always thought Taylor was such a downer! She was so negative!! I couldn't stand the way she treated you! I am so proud that you always took the high road and never compromised who you were! BTW -- totally love you style!
Good luck to you and Zoe ...she is so 'bananas'!
Brad, what brand of glasses are the two toned ones you are wearing? The one with the metal frame at the bottom and brown plastic frame at the top? I like the look! Can you let me know what they are?
Brad, its fabulous to see you bloom and shine without Taylor constantly berating and demoralizing you. It's clear that everyone on team Zoe is taking in 80% more oxigen since Taylor's dioxide-like presence is no longer an exhaust you must inhale. 'Shine on you crazy diamond.'
<3, jaynie
Brad, you have endured. Your class and grace with Taylor during her tyrades was notable. While you broke down with a good cry, who wouldn't do the same. You have tremendous talent, and I am glad the obstacle to your opportunities has been removed. You will no doubt be invaluable to Zoe, and how fortunate that she has a balanced mind and good biz savy to keep YOU. Honestly, she made the right decision - it is just so clear when you watch the denouement of the episode with the wet dresses. Wishing you all the best, b/c you don't need luck. Look fwd to watching everyone this next season. Seriously, though baby time for Zoe....babytime! Linda
You are the cutest thing on Bravo by a landslide! You are the reason that I watch RZP!!!!
Brad, I feel like you and Rachel are sooooooooo overly dramatic. I guess thats one of the elements that makes the show. I still can't turn away. I watch you Brad because sometimes I think that you truly believe that you & Rachel's job, dressing celebrities is the most important job in the whole wide world! You truly have a sense of urgency that I have never wittnessed before. I'm glad you have passion and you truly enjoy your job, however at times it can be really shallow. I am in the military so when I see you acting like its the end of the world because you couldn't get enough shoes for your fashion show, it saddens me. Hopefully you will continue to be passionate about your job and not over due it and make your self sick!
Take care & good luck!!!
Chrischic76
Well your obviously on this blog writing a comment, which obviously shows that you enjoy the drama and get sucked in like everyone else. Im confused at why anyone would come on this and badmouth anyone when your on here lookin just as stupid??? Ill admit I'm a fan and love the show. Why else would I be on here??
Brad,
I love the show, BUT....remember after but always comes the truth...IE: Brad and Rachel are sweet...but:
Could you and Rachel please stop using the word "Tranny" it's very disrespectful and degrading.. you both refer to transgender people as tranny's or Rachel says her shoes have tranny heels or her tranny shoes. I got news for you both, I'm a post-op transsexual and I don't dress like a prostitute. and your part of the LGBT community so again shame on you.
Dear Brad,
I'm a big fan of the show, I think you and Rachel are very cool and if I ever win the lottery I hope team Zoe gives me a fashion makeover.
Could you and Rachel please stop using the word "TRANNY" it is very disrespectful and degrading, I'm a post-op transwoman, think about it when someone says "oh that tranny over there or is she a tranny" I'm no longer a person, now I'm a thing....A tranny.
Last night Rachel said it twice about her new "Tranny shoes" with "Tranny heels".
Let me educate you both a post-op transsexual or a Transgender women does not dress like a drag queen or prostitute's. and what hurts even more is your part of the LGBT community...Using that word, so shame on you.
Brad,
You are the funniest guy I have seen in years. Ashley is so lucky to work for you. Sense of humor is one the the most important traits to me and you have it.
Keep making me laugh and I look forward to seeing you on the show.
You ROCK!
Brad,
You are the coolest gay man I have ever seen and I know alot of them. Your fashion sense is amazing and Rachel is lucky to have you on her team. I love the show and you make it so much more interesting and hilarious.
I just started watching the show and it is great and you are the part of the show that makes it so much fun to watch.
No one misses Taylor and you are the person to fill her high-heels, so good luck and keep us laughing.
Brad, J' adore! You are amazing. Such a beautiful person. I love watching all of you. Keep up the great work. Wishing you that all good things come your way.
Brad sorry that Taylor's insecurity rubbed off on you. She was just threatened. YOU have talent my friend and stay true!!!
Brad--I had to swallow hard before coming back to watch the show again--I am totally not a fashion type, and Rachel is just so hard to take, even for reality tv-but you make it worth it. You are graceful under pressure, kind, and appear to be a truly decent person--increasingly rare qualities. Your playful nature is a real delight. Love the new hot bod too, though I would hate to see you become one of the plastics. Please stay real. You seem like a gem of a guy--hope you are happy to boot inside of that tv!
Brad- love LOVE you! You are THE reason I watch this show. Please don't lose your fabulous preppy bow tie glasses short shorts wearing self though. Nothing makes me smile like a prep in a bow tie!!
I thought Taylor was bad news from the beginning...she had such a bad attitude and didn't seem to treat anybody with respect. I for one am glad she is gone and I'm so thrilled with your promotion...way to go Brad!
Brad, you exceeded our expectations. You rocked our world. The shoot went seamlessly without any cruelty being flung about. What a nice alternative.
Continued success.

Continued success.
Look I Love you, your AWESOME! I was never a cheerleader. But after watching this weeks show I have to say: BRAD ! BRAD! HE'S OUR MAN ! IF HE CANN'T DO IT NO ONE CAN! ( except Rachel and maybe Ashley) LOL. HOLLA!
LAST NIGHTS SHOW YOU ROCKED!
after watching last nights show & the way you pulled it all together heloing Rach you are the 'star' now, better than Tay ever was! you will be appreciated bytDemi & Cam & many others who are seeing you 'shine' right now!
I'm so proud of you, so shy & backward at first now helping rock the fashion world!
you go honey don't let anything or anyone get in your way, not even and especially Tay!
stay s trong & stay YOU!
Brad... Nice Guys DO Finish FIRST!!!! So happy for you! And, yes, even though Taylor was excellent at what she did... there is so much more yin/yang flow productivity. Organized chaos w/out drama!!! Love you! (Love your Mercedes and new look!). You passion for your job, and your compassion as a human being is refreshing!
"i literally die!" LOL!
I so love this show.
I'm learning a lot since we have the same job.
Best of Luck y'all!
Brad your it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at last. And now that you have Ashley on
your team, the show was calm and everything flowed nicely, it was
different from last year how nice is that. Best of everything to all,
and now!!!! we need to think of a new addition to the Rachel & Brad
family as we watch the show ( thing positive on this story line).
Love to all
Miss Pat R.
Brad.
Congrats on your new position. How cute are you!! I like the style Rachel gave you. Cute and rugged!! I think you're a hoot....love watching you on the show.
Brad! I'm happy that Taylor's gone and you are left to let your styling talent free. She was damn negative and moody and couldn't just come out and say what was on her mind. She was a game player and at the end of the day was detrimental to the process and it wasn't healthy for all concerned. You all need to move on and the proof in the pudding was the succussful and fun Demi Moore shoot - she was stunning! I look forward to more fun on the Rachel Zoe Project and Ashley looks like a great fit!
People like Taylor can bully and suck the life out of their co-workers and "friends". They revel in drama and bring negativity to everything and everyone. They just can't stand to see people succeed...you have first hand knowledge of that. Part of Rachel's anxiety was directly related to Taylor. Taylor should have been taking care of Rachel's back not creating more problems in her alrady stressful life. Rodger was the one who saw the "real" Taylor.
Sorry for ranting, people like Taylor just piss me off ...Anyway, good luck Brad, you are a good soul and I do love the show.
Take the helm Brad you are very capable, don't let the negative people affect your shine.... I honestly don't understand it taking so long to say goodbye to Taylor her negativity was overwhelming. Friendship can only take you so far in life and in that job people skills are nessessary. Come on folks, we all no that she has none. Brad it's time to wear the big boy pants and I have total faith in you. Love the new look.........Take care......
I am definitely a Brad fan ... you have a way of calming the energy in a room, and even though I can only imagine how stressful it can get trying to keep all the loose ends from coming completely unraveled, your attitude and ability are sure to get the job done. Rachel is so adorably funny and talented, and you two make a good team. I know things got serious real fast for you after Taylor's departure, but you can obviously handle it.
Loved, loved, loved the line about "Taylor being gone felt a bit like burning your bra"!!! You are too darn cute for words! Also love your new macho-esque look ... it makes you look like you mean serious business. You are the right hand man to a serious player in the game, and you deserve to be there every step of the way. Congrats on your promotion, Brad. You're in it for real now!
Taylor is good but you are better! You and Zoe seems to be very patient individuals and having Taylor around with a different personality kimda gives balance to your team. However, what you need is someone who has a strong personality but not too loud and not so confrontational as Taylor!
Brad, omg, you are the star of the show as far as I'm concerned. You are so fun to watch, I love it when you break out in dance! Congrats on the new position! Can't wait to see more!!!!
Brad,
I am so proud of you as a person, employee and a man. You held your ground, vented your frustrations in a healthy way and did nothing but persevere despite Taylor's undermining ways. I loved when Taylor tells you to go to France and, like you're on "Taylor's sick chess board" you say, "Is this where I'm supposed to say 'No, you go?'" Loved It! You're why I continued to watch this show. Without you, Taylor's behavior would have caused me to leave the remote alone and grab an uplifting book. After watching Rachel "survive without Taylor and the drama," and seeing you greet the stars, loving what you do, it makes for a very interesting time that my eight year old son finds awesome, "without that Taylor who I felt like kicking for making Brad cry." Congrats to all!
Yeah for you Brad!!
Since the show first began, I wanted Taylor gone. She is such a winer...and complainer. You will be better than she ever thought she was.
I look forward to the upcoming episodes..
I can't understand why a handful of people are trying to be judgmental about Taylor's departure and placing blame on you. The rest of us obviously do not know everything that happened that led to Taylor's firing, nor is it really any of our business. People who do not know the whole story should shut up. I do not think it is "bad mouthing" Taylor to state facts. Neither you nor anyone else has engaged in "bad mouthing." And the other issue is that with reality TV, it is a snap shot into the lives of everyone on the show. If you are feeling something about a person and wish to express it, it's not "bad mouthing" either. I wish those who are so eager to cast stones had cameras following them around all day. I wonder what we would hear come out of their mouths. Congratulations on your promotion and on another season. I wish you the best of luck.
Let's put it this way, it is none of your business why another employee is fired and not your place to comment on it, especially of national
TV. You know what Rodger and Rachel told you. You can't really say "for sure" that Taylor stole". Rodger and Rachel were very careful about the wording they used. They never said Taylor "stole", but you did. They know poor choices of words could put them in a position of being sued. If they believe Taylor actually stole from them, they should contact the proper authorities and not smire this women. It seems they just want to keep Taylor out of the fashion business, because she has all of Rachel's knowledge.
You blame Taylor for your shortcomings and your crying spells. Brad, you are a grown man and should have been in control of your emotions.
However, I will give you credit where it is due. You made Ashley welcome and invited her to express her ideas freely so that she can reach her full potential in her job.
The comments in "Let's put it this way" are utter BS.
I am a relatively new viewer and found your show by accident. I'm not into fashion or reality shows (your's was the first I ever watched). I was sorry to see Taylor leave the show but not for the reasons expressed by other viewers.
I found her vastly entertaining and in the beginning, I thought she was overly tough on you, but many times with good reason. I think if you're honest, you know that whatever Taylor was guilty of, Rachel was forced to rely on her so much because you weren't yet ready for all your responsibilities. Taylor's legacy to you was to teach you to pay attention to detail and to take criticism like a professional (whether the criticism was justified or not). When you started on the show, those were your two major weaknesses. What bothered me was the fact that she positioned herself as Rachel's best friend and most loyal associate; from what I can tell, nothing could be farther from the truth and I find her betrayal of Rachel extremely unacceptable regardless of her motivation, which appeared to be constant resentment for not being fuly praised for her contributions. I also think she had stress issues acentuated by the fact that she could never honestly discuss the things that upset her so much. I just became disabled for the same reasons all of you worry about Rachel. Stress will kill her, so being rid of Taylor whom Rachel could never make happy regardless of what she did for her can only improve Rachel's life. Being supported by you and the new staff, along with letting Roger take over the CEO job where he will be in a better position to protect her will be Rachel's first major step toward becoming healthier. And, we all know that her incredible talent, wrapped in total devotion and commitment to her clients no matter the obstacles encountered along the way, would be a terrible loss for the fashion industry.
Good Luck to all of you for many more successful seasons and great ratings. Just remember to keep the star healthy, free of stress to the extent possible and please don't ever put her through the kind of tremendous hurt Taylor's betrayal did.
I watched the Golden Globes and the pre-show Red Carpet event to see who you all had styled for the show --I never have watched Hollywood award shows before last night--but was hoping to hear something about you and Rachel. I have two, no doubt stupid, questions: Why did all the celebs talk about their gowns and their "look" like they personally had worked with the gown's designer, make-up and hair artists to create themselves for the evening? There was no mention of help from any stylist by anyone interviewed; and were you and Rachel in attendance because I never saw either of you? Keep up the excellent work!! I have great expectations for what all you will accomplish in the future. Now that she has you as her right hand, she'll be in a position to delegate more than she ever has--if you and Roger can teach her what the word "delegate" means.
Brad,
I have cheered for you since the first episode you were on, I couldn't bealieve that someone so nasty and negative had a jog like she did. I cried for you when you cried, it broke my heart to see someone treated that way. BUT every episode you got stronger and stronger,I watched you grow as a person and as a stylist, sometimes we dont realize how much we really learn when we are being treated so bad. I couldnt wait to see the new season, the smile on your face, the sparkel in your eyes was amazing, Taylor leaving was good for you, I think we are going to see the "real" Brad this season. Congrats on the new job, I wish you nothing but love, and happiness
Brad, it was hilarious when you said that not having Taylor around gave you a feeling like you just burnt your bra . LOL! That was the best line ever from this show, and it was obvious you meant it!
I'm happy for you that things worked out the way they did and glad to see you doing well in your new role. Congrats! You hung in there and it paid off. Well done!
It is time to put Taylor in the past and work on what seems to be a very successful future! I was really digging your new look! You are just so damn cute!!
IT'S HORRIBLY UNCLASSY TO BAD MOUTH A FORMER FRIEND PUBLICLY AND TO TAKE PART IN PREVENTING HER FROM MAKING A LIVING. You guys are bullies and dreadfully spiteful. It shows areal lack of integrity.
Rooted for you since the beginning! Taylor is gone, Thank God. Now let us never mention her name again. I know the shows are already taped, but I do hope you picked up on Rachel's facial expressions and realize that she does not want to hear "her" name again. Leave it all behind and SHINE Mon petite.
You finally have what you wanted. The head job, great hard working talented people around and you are dressing the stars! The only thing out of your mouth should be things that make Rachel's life easier.
Good Luck! Still rooting for ya.
I'm a huge BRAD FAN....his upbeat attitude and professionalism are really starting to shine since the departure of the black cloud, aka Taylor. I think even Rachel will start to lighten up the more she is around him...She and Taylor both operated in the "negative" stress mode and I think things are going to change- for the better!! Go Brad!!!
