Matthew Williamson Scarf

As the summer season winds down and we shift our gears to fall—I can hardly wait either!—I know many of you will be inclined to store away your colorful accessories and shift toward a darker palette. However, I want everyone to stop and rethink this protocol during the upcoming season…why not view your vibrant add-ons as a year-round regime? Matthew Williamson shows us how it’s done with the multi-hued Circle Lace Strip Scarf from his Autumn Collection.

A kaleidoscope of color, this 100% silk scarf deserves a round of applause—make that a standing ovation—from every follower of fashion. It is exactly what one needs to liven up a subdued fall ensemble and show off some serious style…obsessed. Moving into the cooler months, I suggest wearing MW’s scarf with leggings, flat boots and a sweater for a casually chic look with just the right amount of flare. xoRZ

Love it- I'm always looking for a way to make something that I already have in my wardrobe look new. I added a scarf this week to a basic colored T- and then tied in a bow, thinking about the bow you wore for Oscar. The T was probably under $25.00, but the scarf was a special scarf my Mom bought for me on one of her trips to London. I Love mixing value items with more treasured and expensive pieces. I cannot wait to see what your show has in store next week.

Love the scarves! Speaking of scarves... in the Fashion Cents: Boho 70s episode video, Rachel held up a long cream scarf with a dark blue/navy pattern on it and hot pink fringe. She just held it out from the clothing rack, but did not place it on the model. I would DIE to know who made that!! Anyone know??

I started collecting scarves over 20 years ago. I didn't have much money, and thrift shops had loads of them. They were wonderful scarves from the 40's and 50's --I still have many of them. Even today, I still try to buy one or two new ones a year, and they come in handy to use as belt/neck piece/ muffler/ headpiece or a dash of color tied on a black bag. They're so much fun, so pretty. Such a treat if you buy silk.

I am 75 years old and watch your show religiously. While I am much too old for 7 inch shoes and some dresses the basics of style I can still use. It's so enjoyable just watching your show and taking notes of how your clothes can relate to my age. Keep up the good work, you are serving woman of many ages.

You never give the source for some of your great hats. Like the grey hat you show in the photos and say is bananas?? What is the source for that hat? Please give info on hats in your wardrobe or what they're wearing section.

I just watched your show and ya know Rachel we look to you for fashion, NOT TAYLOR. Some of us (me) use you and your show as a learning experience for our daughters to show them the many facets of fashion that they can apply to their future professional life. You are what Taylor in her whole life times a million will NEVER be. Love to You and Yours!!!
