- Rachel Zoe on Facebook
Every day working for Rachel Zoe, Inc. is surreal for me. I have the amazing opportunity to be around beautiful clothes and smart and talented people. Whats not to love!?!
Throw the Oscars into that mix, and its hard to even write how special it was to be around and part of the team.
The Oscars were bar far the biggest fashion moments (all at once) for Rachel Zoe. It was surreal watching her navigate through exactly what looks and moments she wanted to create for the show. I always knew she had an insane memory, but remembering certain archives!?! Needless to say, Rachel killed it. She was able to pick moments that would relate to every woman; each piece was a separate girl which is what makes Rachel so brilliant. She is able to tap into the everyday woman and know how to give each and everyone their own specific fairytale moment.
And lets be honest. . .it doesn't suck to sit down with Rachel and the whole family, and pho to watch the Oscars.
You did a wonderful job preparing Rachel and Rodger's new home. Hopefully you are noticing that Joey is trying to portray you in a bad light. I am hoping that next week's episode does not show you losing your job. I find Joey most irritating and it was obvious Rodger was 2nd guessing his decision to bring him to CA. Best wishes
Jeremiah, You appear to really want to try your hand at styling, that's great, but your have an amazing talent for design, that does not mean that you can not do both, and perhaps Rachel may want to try her hand at expanding an exclusive line of furniture which you could head. With respect to Joey.. well I would be very careful.
Hi Jeremiah, You have a lot of class and talent, if it doesn't work out with Rachel Zoe, you'll be snatched up by someone else!
Awesome job you did on the house for Rachel and Rodger you transformed it into a beautiful home. If they don't keep you as a stylist you now have national exposure for your design ability of homes, someone will hire you but it will be r Rachel's loss. I don't want to see Rachel let you go because I believe your design ability can easily transfer to styling. Be very careful of Joey he is NOT your friend. He does all that he can to under-mind you with Rachel. He is a sneak and should NOT be trusted. I hope you reads these comments from your fans before it is too late.
love love love you Jeremiah! Keep being you! You are talented and so much easier to look at much less listen to than Joey. Keep your guard up around him, he's a desperate person and those types throw everyone under the bus if they are afraid of losing what they want, and he wants Rachel all to himself (delusional). I hope you stay on the show and they send Joey back to NYC!
Watch out for joey, he seems sneaky and I believe he wants you to fail, and if not then he will give Rachel lies about you so he will be the only one she turns to. He is so annoying and I think he would hide things to make you the villian.
I wish that I hadn't just watched Rodger letting you go. You very obviously were snubbed by Joey- he makes me sick the way he is so far up Rachel's butt. It seems like he is flaunting his close relationship with Rachel when ever you are near because he is quite intimidated by your good nature, your looks, and your talent. His only goal was to get rid of the competition and he did it in a blatant and hurtful way. You handled his immature comments and childish attitude with class and maturity.
It is sad to me because it looks like you were simply used to make the new house a showpiece, and then cast aside when you were done!!! Shame on the whole RZ team for behaving that way and Shame on them for not giving you you any proper training and time. Why did they fail to acknowledge your eagerness and desire to cross over into fashion and styling? With all the new beginnings in their lives and business, they are crazy not to keep dedicated and talented employees in their stable.
I say start your own Jeremiah "HOME" and run with it! You will go far! Hang in there and now I really have trouble watching the show since tonight's episode :( I have been a loyal fan since the first episode- not so much any more.
xoxoxo Best wishes sweetie!
To Rachel & Roger: Shame on Rachael Zoe and her husband for hiring and then firing Jeremiah. So, hire him FULLY knowing he has to be trained as a stylist. Put him to work decorating YOUR home. Sarcastically call him a "home authority" on a company that doesn't do anything with home products. Does it mean NOTHING to you to hire someone, lie to them about their duties and training, then fire them when you need to save a few of your many, many dollars? SHAME on you. You use and abuse your employees. You humiliate them on TV by telling them they're just not good enough because you neglected to come through on training? Did you NOT realize you were having a baby and if you put him to work decorating your home, perhaps he would not learn ANY styling? So, just publicly humiliate him on TV, kick him in the teeth for all of his hard, dedicated work, make him feel like he is not worthy to work for your "empire." I PRAY that Jeremiah, like other past fired employees, finds his nitch and far surpasses what you have done professionally. I suspect he will do it with much more integrity than you or Rodger (stupid spelling). And while you humiliate Jeremiah, be sure to really rub it in his face by absolutely kissing the behind of your hairdresser/stylist. So unprofessional and just downright mean. Do you have no feelings? You have lost a loyal viewer, and I will not purchase any of your products again. I will follow the careers of Jeremiah, Taylor and other employees you threw out like yesterday's trash. Good role model. You should be proud to show your child how you acted right before you gave birth. God help any employee of yours who does not spend 70% of their time massaging your ego. Jeremiah gave 150% to you, and you repaid him with unemployment and public humiliation. Your (previous) fans will not take kindly to this. Just watch the message boards LIGHT UP!
You were completely mislead as was the audience. When you hire someone knowing their inexperience, and planning on training them to do a job, and then drop them like a hot potato because you're too bored and self-involved to be bothered to do what you agreed to do, is unprofessional and cruel. You will do better without these dishonest and careless employers. By the way, that Joey is a snake and set you up.
Major bummer. Rachel dropped the ball, and her team are imcompetent to make the decision they made. BTW Miss Joey is a snake.
Very upset that Rodger fired Jeremiah. He did a great job but, when they brought Joey back from New York, they pushed him out. As soon as Joey showed up, they started to ignore Jeremiah. He gave his all and then some to decorate their home, showing them how dedicated he was. Rodger and Rachel thanked everyone for the move, Joey did nothing. Then they started using Joey on shoots, Jeremiah should have been on the Kim K. shoot. I thought Joey was only going to stay for 3 months, it appears that he is staying on.
I thought Rodger and Rachel were a class act. Not thinking that any more. Will never watch the show again.
So disappointed in Team Zoe for letting you go... Joey is a kiss ass and really what has he really done??!! So he can put on Rachel's makeup and curl hair..I agree send them an invoice for what you accomplished on their home and in only nine days!!! It was beautiful!! Hopefully getting your face out there you will get tons of interior design jobs!! Oh and shame on them for hiring you if they thought you didn't have the credentials they wanted..can Joey use Excel..I seriously doubt it!!
love you Jerimiah. Just saw tonight's episode and next week's preview and don't understand people around you acting so ungrateful. You have worked your ass off. you are going to be bigger than Rachel one day, so don't fret. If you ever have your own company and need a lawyer holla!....;) xo
Sigh, so sad to see you will be gone from the show. Hopefully Rachel will see the light and re-hire you!
love you Jerimiah! Just saw tonight's episode and next week's preview and don't understand everyone around you! You worked your ass off for them all while having an awesome sense of humor and looking hot. Don't worry you're gonna be bigger than this show one day, I can tell. And hey, if you ever have your own company and need yourself a company lawyer, holla back ;)
I agree, watch your back because people like Joey are like deadly cancers. They linger and before you know it, you get burned. I feel so sorry for you because that has happened to me in a similar situation. I was never given the chance to show what I'm capable of and yet the boss hands it over to the favorite designer on staff. In the end, I get laid off. Words of advice, don't burn your bridges with Rachel. She may expand to have her own furniture line- in the meantime, move on and don't wait for her. You're better off without them and Joey. Take care handsome. :)
Jeremiah, you were very dedicated, trustworthy, honest, and did an amazing job on decorating Rachel and Roger's house exactly as they wanted it. You did get used big time. I agree that you should send them a bill, minus what you were paid, and include all the overtime you spent decorating their house. You could take them tosmall claims court to recover some of what you could have legitimately charged for all of the work that you did. You can do it pro se, and any judge, having the real facts, would rule in your favor, if you back your case up with all the work that you did to get them into their fully furnished home while being paid an hourly wage with no breaks or overtime!! I think that Roger was rude, inconsiderate, jealous (which showed), and way out of line with his attitude of superiority and behavior towards you when he felt the need to fire you. Doesn't anyone wonder why staff does not stay on with Rachel for more than a season? Looking back on your experience, do you think that they really had in mind the fact that taking you on to "do their house" as an employee, versus paying a "professional (which you proved to be) decorator" might have been an underlying reason to hire you as a stylist? You were up front about what you could and could not yet do. Rachel was pregnant. Roger was there. The other girl candidate had just what they needed if they were looking for a ready-made stylist. Roger thought she loooked like Rachel so since you are a guy, do you think Rachel wanted you for everything you could do and who YOU are? I do. I wish you the best of luck and hope that you have already landed on your feet!
You were fantastic in designing Rachel and Rodgers home on such SHORT NOTICE. My suggestion to you would be to go and work for Jeff Lewis. I believe he could use (and would appreciate) your talent(s).
Totally agree w/ the comments that you were treated unfairly. I liked Rachel and Rodger way more before they let you go and I don't know if I'm interested in watching the show anymore. Rachel aggresively dismissed all of Rodger's concerns about your lack of experience and hired you anyway because she liked you and gave you the impression she was willing to mentor you, when indeed they wanted someone to figure it out on their own. She took someone who was super excited to have the opportunity, had you jump through hoops to decorate their home, and then cowardly didn't fight for you when surprise surprise, you needed training and opportunities to get your sea legs. She was so aggressive to hire you over the other interviewee and then left it to Rodger to let you go. She knew you would need mentoring and capriciously ignored it because she liked the way you looked, and your personality. She threw you into the deep end of the pool and when you struggled, let you drown. Furthermore, Mandanah (sp?) recommended you and wasn't much help in guiding you; Joey seemed downright catty. Marisa seemed to be the most helpful but didn't offer any suggestions to Roger which might help you fit in. I hope that it got you good exposure and other opportunities that will help your career. I think you come off really well -- hard working, talented, likeable and earnest, and I wish you all the best. Joey has some nice qualities, maybe you feel that he helped you, but to my mind, he did alot to rock your confidence instead of helping you fit in. Instead of warning you to help you, it seemed more like he was marking his territory with Rachel. I know Rachel's pregnancy affected her ability to have the time to mentor, but she knew she was pregnant when she hired you
Dearest Jeremiah: We ALL watched you get used for your talents, putting together the New Home's Interior Design. Hopefully you got paid and well rewarded, if not, post it. We ALL want to know. Bravo needs to give you your OWN show. How dare Rachel not stick up for you and allow her husband to let you go.
What they need to do is get a better make-up artist and replace "Miss Joey". Enough with making Rachel look like Madonna, really? Jeremiah, did you really think Joey was a "Friend". Look back at all of the episodes where you two interact around Rachel. He felt threatened by you the first moment he layed eyes on you. YOU Jeremiah, are FASHION FORWARD. Even when you woke up at Rachel's new house, after sleeping on the floor, you looked CHIC. Respectfully, Madonis
Love your personality, classy andway bettet than Joey. Rachel knew from the very start that you need a lot to learn but then they mstreated you, left you out and worst, no one back you up. I feel bad, you don't deserve that kind of treatment from any of them regardless if you're new and know nothing about fashion styling. You were honest and up front about it and hired you anyways. Jeff Lewis will treat you well, you are a wonderful person and hard working. Wish you well! Good Luck!
HATE what they did to you. You were used and abused. You are an honest person and told them up front that you don't have any fashion styling experience but Rachel still hires you. After they let you design their new home with a very short notice, they just let you go for a very lame and insulting reasons. No one backs you up, they all turn their backs on you. I really feel sorry for what had happen to you. Maybe, Jeff Lewis is more humane and will treat you well and right. You are a good person, pleasing personality, hard working person...good luck and wish you well!
jeremiah, Watched tonight and was shocked at Rodger letting you go. I was a big fan of the show for the last three years and always felt bad for Rachael when her ex- employees turned on her. I am now rethinking it, because if they could treat you the way they did, who knows what the story is with them. All I know, is you gave them 110 percent of yourself or more for styling their home, which is not what you were hired to do so in essence you did them a favor. For what? I am sure you weren't paid going rate for interior design. You made it perfectly clear to the audience that you were trying to prove yourself as a talented, independent hard working individual ready for begin work on what you wanted and were hired to do, styling. Well Rodger says in this weeks blog. That if opportunity comes up you'd be hired back. It didn't come across that way and things don't usually work out that way do they? You'll have a great job with nicer people I'm sure real soon. I don't see much future for a company that treats people the way they treated you. You are better off to be surrounded by people that appreciate your talent, flair and dedication. People with your set of skills and motivation are hard to find and they just threw you away. Why would you want to work for people like that? There are so many stylists in the business, it sounds like Rachael just did her first Oscar's, so what makes her so great. If you still want to work in that field, now that you got exposure on the show, there will be people that will help steer you to those that may be hiring. Wish you all the best Jeremiah... I just know you will be successful at whatever you do.
I hope BRAVO would consider giving you your own show. If not, why don't you contact Jeff Lewis. He could hire you in a minute.
Jeremiah, I felt really sorry for the way you were treated. Don't think we didn't see how Joey, especially, tried his best to keep you out of the loop. We SAW. You were treated badly, but you are very talented, and I just hope another stylist saw and hires you soon. Don't worry about what they did to you, just move on to something better. You had a great idea, but you pulled that out of the hat a little soon in your enthusiasm. Totally understand. I wish someone would offer to head up your own company. Oh well. I wish you the best, and remember, when one door closes, another one opens.
And what was up with Rodger Zoe trying to get Jeremiah to fire himself? Maybe it was edited that way, but lame none the less.
They lost a good one. That Miss. Joey is a snake in the grass. He likes to be Rachel himself....talking like her. He is so catty and so is the rest of the sneek posey.
Someone will see your talent and will hire you.
Jeremiah; LOVED U on Rachel Zoe! Loved that U were totally committed to & in awe of Rachel.Loved that U were such a hard worker. Loved that in spite of the fact that U saw some of Joey's cattiness,U were a class act & NEVER went crying to Rachel about it.I feel sure that Rachel listened to Joey, who was obviously threatened by U,& between that & a newborn on the way, just didn't make the best decision. I don't think she or Roger were purposefully hurtful-they just made a HUGE mistake!!!! They need to realize that just because someone feels comfortable enough to "talk back to U" or call U names(JOEY),it doesn't mean they can always be trusted! If U want to pursue styling, don't be deterred. U r FABULOUS at what U do,however,& if U love it,GO 4 it in a BIG way! Again;REALLY enjoyed U on RZ,& hope they bring U back.God Bless U whatever U do in life.
Joey is very silly and tacky in many ways. Jeremiah is innocent and sweet and seems vulnerable/honest. He will be eaten alive by the Zoe climb to the top at all costs family/staff. Leave clean and free and with your dignity while you can! You are extremely talented, beautiful and honest. You will go far in life on your own terms. Not abiding by dishonest Zoe family values!
