The It Factor

Joey explains how Rachel manages to balances it all and her infectious drive.

By Joey Maalouf

Rachel is truly one of the strongest women I know. Knowing her for over six years now, I am barely surprised by the maj things that constantly enter her life. I always expected Rachel and Rodger to become parents; although the news totally caught me off guard. I just couldn't see where she would find the time.

How to Watch

Catch up on The Rachel Zoe Project on the Bravo App.

Of course, she finds the time in one of the busiest and biggest moments of her life -- while conquering styling, media, QVC, and now her own collection.

Luckily for RZ she has found a diamond in the ruff also known as Mandana. She is one of the smartest women I know, and she kicks ass when it comes to business and fashion. Rachel really feels at peace for the first time since I've known her, and I think a lot of it has to do with adding Mandana to her team. It's a real blessing when you find great quality people who you can trust. It really makes work and life more FUN!

The most exciting time of Rachel's life is in full effect, but instead of enjoying it shes in "execu-b---h mode" and she has to be. . .How else will anything come together? Rachel becoming a designer is the smartest thing she has ever done, besides marrying Rodger. She just has it -- that "it" factor. She is so talented and has the best taste, and she really knows what women want to see in there closets and on there bodies. She's a mad genius, and it's infectious! There is never a moment where she doesn't inspire me.

Finding balance is key, and I think for her it's surrounding herself with people that not only know what there doing, but have only the best intentions doing so.
