This week was completely crazed -- I had a style out for Lindex, it was Rodger and my anniversary, it was Oscar week – oh and I was nine months pregnant.
It was the first time Rodger and I are not at Fashion Week for our anniversary, but I still had work to do -- it's a good thing I love my job. Even though we didn't get to celebrate we had so much fun at the opening of the new Tom Ford store here in Los Angeles. I would never miss an opportunity to support him, he is such a genius!
The Lindex shoot was a total success -- thanks to the help of my stellar styling team! Afterwards I was completely exhausted and needed to rest. I kind of reached my breaking point this week. I could tell Rodger was worried -- he even flew in my sister Pamela from Florida. I have the most incredible and supportive family. They keep me grounded. I admire my sister so much, she is an amazing businesswoman and mother –- she reminds me to slow down and try to find balance. Always good advice, but at the end of the day, I still have a job to do.
I love your style and was very impressed with you when I first watched you. I'm seriously wondering why you keep saying mean things about your former employes. I wish you could look at it more positively. You helped people learn and gave them a chance to flourish. Why do you always make excuses, and blame them for taking advantage of you? Don't you think there us enough room in the world for several stylists? I'm kinda of disappointed watching you behave this way. You had to start at the bottom and work your way up as well didn't you? People move on.
Hey Rachel, not sure if you will even read this being so busy, but listen to your sister she knows and we all know deep down you know as well. My daughter and I love fashion and really enjoy watching the show. Honey just take good care, and good luck with your new life being a mom.
Hi Rachel! I love your show, I don't think Taylor has half the passion as you and she always seemed to have a bad attitude. Brad has a bit of ADD which is not good when dealing with so many famous people..I can envision him walking in circles for hours. Anyways be healthy and congrats on the baby, I am BANANAS about your show I even have my hubby watching it!
Love your show Rachel and can't wait to see that adorable new baby! You are so lucky to have such a wonderful sister to help you along this new journey you and Rodger are embarking on.
Being a Mother is the hardest job you will ever have in life but it is the best and most rewarding job too!
P.S. It's amazing how you can still function at top speed and endurance for the Oscars and being 9 months pregnant, kudos to you, job well done!
Rachel you look so great pregnant. You look so much younger with a little weight on ya! Good Luck with that baby boy. It is the best thing in the world!
I think you are such a dedicated and driven individual with incredible style! I love your show and think you are an exceptional person but I do wish you would give Jeremiah more of a chance. Quite frankly, he has the most heart and desire out of most, if not all of your team. He may not have the most experience, but his passion is undeniably there. I understand you have been betrayed twice before and it is challenging to let your guard down, but has he given you any doubts? From his interviews on the show, I have never seen such dedication and desire to want to learn more about what you do and why you do it. I didn't like how you started the Oscars without him! Other than that, all the best to your family, especially you new baby boy!
With love, from Short Hills, NJ!
I love everything about this show now I know what people are talking about when they say someone is driven you really do amaze me. Good Luck with the new baby.
I like you show. You need to start taking care of you and listen to hubby and sister. As for your hair and makeup stylist, what's up with him....he's mocking you in the way he speaks. That is so annoying!
Anyway, I like your taste and drive in fashion. You will be a great "Mom".
Rachel why is it that you always seem to favor the phonier of your assistants, and disrespect (diss) the others? Jeremmy is great and you have totally dissed him for your hairdresser (playmate). What a shame... another bites the dust. You need to get real and surround yourself with real people who admire and want to learn and work hard for you, rather than with people that are being paid to come to L.A. and 'love you'.
Even the "older" generation enjoys you. I am refering to myself. You did an amazing job for the Oscars as you do with everything. On a slightly negative note, Joey seems to be trying to put Jeremiah in a bad light and undermine him. I hope this is not true but it is not pleasant to see. Blessings to you and your family.
Rachel, Rodger & Zoe, Inc.er's Mazel tov, much happiness to you and yours. Great show, so nice to see dedicated and caring people. You are doing very well and keep on while enjoying all your blessings.
You never looked better than this year pregnant! You guys should have lots of babies! Also Joey is Fantastic and Hysterical and talented. Your other cutie patutti should keep to Decorating and you should open up a Home Decorating Division of your Rachel Zoe Brand...think faux fur throws, rugs, pillows, glammed up mirrored tables, etc.. Just take your fashion sense to the home and it will be a home run!!!!!!!!! Love love love your show!
I just have a few things to mention. I happened to come across your show when I had the flu and I have to tell you I really enjoy it. I am so impressed by the affection between you and Roger, you can see the chemistry between you and even in the old video shown from your honeymoon, and you both still have it. I am happy beyond belief that your son is healthy and that you are doing great. The clothing line you designed was beautiful, but .... I was wondering if you were going to add some design ideas for large busted women. I think it is harder to buy clothes for a "Jane Mansfield" shaped body than when I was expecting. Also, where do you get the beautiful furs you wear on the show? Not to mention the shoes? And last but not least, the hand cuff bracelet? Was that a custom deign? Many blessings and keep up the fabulous eye for fashion.
I saw you and your beautiful family at lunch today at Newsroom! It was an out of body experience for me, but I would never bug you. I love your collection I'm saving up for the Audrey bootie in camel because I've been searching the web for the perfect match for my Ten Over Six fringe clutch! Love you thanks for the high!!!
Rachel, I adore you. And I adore your show. It's so obvious that you have worked so hard to build your business. So please don't take this wrong. It's upsetting to see you sit in a chauffeur-driven car on your way to a business appointment complaining about the 35 minute drive! Seriously? Do you know how many people are unemployed or have had their hours or salary reduced? Do you know how many businesses have closed? And your complaining about the inconvenience of sitting in car to go to a meeting that will expand your flourishing business!! We get it - you're very tired, very pregnant, very stressed but you are also enormously blessed. Please stop and count your blessings and smell the flowers. It's becoming hard to watch someone who is so blessed and appears to have it all but still insists on complaining how tired and stressed she is.
