The Snake Who Swallowed a Basketball
Episode 6: Bravotv.com's Associate Editor mourns the Jeremiah's firing but finds solace in sequins.
Oh sweet darling Jeremiah. We hardly knew ye! You had so much more to give. Let’s recap the three most important (we can’t call them best because this episode weighs heavily on my tiny heart).
Elle on Earth
Rachel's got two more shots before she goes on baby lockdown and they are both doozies. First up is a big summer shot with Elle where we learn the importance of properly accessorizing a swimsuit. Particularly at the Chatueau Marmont pool you should, you should be wearing a full Lanvin necklace, duh.
As Joey and Jer start the prepping process, Jer gets a little worried about getting left off some emails. While he does look a bit like a homeless moffet, he doesn’t deserve to be left out of the loop or of the jokes. . .
A terrible harbinger of things to come. . .
Rachel's Birth Plan
In other news Rachel has worked out the full fashion/birth plan, down to when Joey should arrive for hair and makeup.
Sorry is that not what normal women do? I plan on having a go bag with multiple scarf options packed and ready for when my water breaks.
Jeremiah Was a. . . .Rachel Zoe Employee
Oh right, the sad stuff. I have to commend Jer for trying to carve out a niche at RZ, Inc. However, I think his insistence on creating a home-based home for himself was ultimately what did him in. When Rodger couldn't find a daily thing for him to do, of course the natural progression was to let that bird fly -- for now. Perhaps one day if Rach does get into the candle business, Jer will be there to make it happen, but as it is, there are enough stylists. There was something so heart-breaking about seeing Rodger in rumpled "evening wear" making the big decision with Rachel, thank G-d the sequins were there to even it out.
And Jer took it like a champ, even though I thought he was going to tear up a bit.
Next week, baby's finally here! Leave your guesses for Rachel's big hospital outfit in the comments!
