Even though I am most comfortable behind-the-camera, representing my brand often requires me to step out of my comfort zone and put my face out there -- literally. Working with Jockey involved me appearing on a building-sized billboard, which was so surreal for me to see! I'm so happy that Mandana took me to see it in person -- I might have been too scared to see it otherwise!
Even though I think I might never be totally comfortable in the spotlight -- having Rodger by my side in those moments is so encouraging. Receiving a thank you note from the President of the United States isn't a bad reminder that I'm doing something right either!
Just have to say I love The Rachel Zoe Project, She has the best vibe. I Love the Bohemian style and last nights show (April 17) was AWESOME. My mother always told me I should have been a flower child in the seventies but I missed it by a few years. I heard Rachel say something like that last night. I feel like we are kindred spirits. Also, heard her mention the Grateful Dead and that is awesome. I am a long time follower of the Dead and to have someone support them on TV in that way was great and real. I feel like she and her husband are REAL people and they deserve the fame they have. I support the show and LOVE it!!! Yall are adorable. Also my husband and I have been together 21 years, we met as teenagers also and they remind us of ourselves. Again, love the show and thanks for being real. Hey.....if I had the money to buy Chanel, beleive me I would to.
You brought to light for me about how the fashion industry works, I had no idea and find it very interesting, well maybe in my next life, I am 63 and retired so I won't be taking on any new careers at my age. I enjoy your family, employees, and the show it makes my boring Wednesdays not so boring.
you're cute, your husband's cute, your son is cute, your clothes are cute, but this show is boring! Someone said below, watching you have an orgasm over a beautiful article of clothing is not entertainment. Maybe seeing you give back might make a difference, or some insight, but definately not watching you freak out over nothing, your husband trying to get some attention and your son trying to figure out why he's not as excited as you over Chanel!
This shows needs to be 30 minutes and focus on fashion styling. Rachel's personality is not the selling point like Bethenny's personality for her previous show. And for the love of God, please show less Mandana...especially when she does that high pitched baby talk thing. Have you ever seen someone more full of herself?
Brad and Dukes of Melrose should each half their own hour long show instead.
Love you guys an th show! Best season yet! Would love to know th story behind the bracelets Mandana, Lauren and Joey wear nd who they are by? Adore them. Please help if possible!Hugs
It this show fails then blame it on Roger and Madonna. I agree with the previous comments about Roger. Rachel needs to send him out to play when she is filming. He is not sure if he is her father or her child. Also, Madonna is a Rachel want to be and we only need one Rachel. I guess her personality is so strong that the people she works with mimic her. When Madonna and Rachel are in a scene together I turn down the volume to spare myself the over dramatic contest of who will do Rachel the best. Roger and Madonna both need to be replaced with grown ups that have grown up, original personalities and let Rachel be Rachel .
Rachel, I love you and your show. Your staff is also great. No more horrors like Taylor on first few seasons! If only Rodger would stop whining so much and behave like a grown up! In any case, I love how you and Rodger interact. You are great together. I hope you are on air many more seasons. You are one of two of my favorite reality shows.
. Hi - I was reading about your show being canceled today and it was funny because I was talking with some friends yesterday that I didn't think you were going to survive much longer. I like your show and I hope it goes on ... but you have to bring some interesting people to be part of it, maybe friends and/or co-workers. Just you and your husband, sorry but it's boring!
I like your team, but they don’t have that thing that brings us back for more. Also, it would be nice to see you involved with some charitable organization, because you deal with such upscale brands all day, you come across a bit superficial. How about using your voice to help others in need?
"My brand" "my brand" - you guys are so full of yourselves. I can't watch anymore either. Your voice inflections and Roger's superiority complex - he is so obnoxious. He was cute in the picture above! You have orgasmic reactions over some gosh darn WAY overpriced frock. You need to come back down to the real world. I know we like to get away from our droll lives & watch your fantasy world where all that matters is not what but WHO you're wearing. But can you PLEASE throw in some regular people material once in awhile?
@stacya I agree....this show was hard to get through....and I wanted to like it...but the dialogue between this husband and wife was more like two 16 yr old girls....I had to wonder what normal people in and around NY thought about them .. or are they in L.A?? See, i don't even know.....I realized that these two never hang with anyone who does not rotate around planet Zoe....I have always thought fashion designers were way over rated...and to take that farther...clothes need not be a reason to get up every day....the average viewer of this show, buys their clothes from either a TJ Max or a JCPenney.....most people would rather have a clean closet with clothes they wear daily, then high dollar design pieces they keep for years because of the cost....how does mainstream relate to this mentality?? Call me a raggedy ann if you must, but i refuse to be ruled by a yard of fabric stretched across my bosom....
just_peachy I agree. Why, oh why, do you say "oh my god" like you're 8 yrs. old, Rachel? You're a successful business woman but talking like that cheapens you and makes you seem like a fake. It's hard to take you seriously, I just can't tune in anymore.
I'm enjoying Rachel so much more this season. Having a baby seems to have calmed her down - I was getting rather tired of her "freaking out" in previous seasons. All I saw was her staff doing all the work (pulling clothes & accessories, setting up, etc), and Rachel picking stuff out. Dream job, but I couldn't see why she was so stressed all the time. On the hand, I could see why her team was always stressed out. Now, she seems to handle everything with aplomb. But Mananna (or whatever her name is) has seemed to take on Rachel's previous personality. Everything is such. a. big. deal. She's kind of full or herself and annoying.
Anyway - just my thoughts. On the main, loving the lack of Joey, Brad, that decorator dude. Loving the process of designing a line and would love to see more of it. Interesting to see the buyers meet with her sales people. It's a world I don't know much about and enjoy seeing it all.
Now Brad has seemed to taken on Rachel's "oh my god" - "stressed out" personality. It's grating.
You deserve all the kudos for your hard work and dedication, Rachel. Soak it UP. Relish it. And, babe, don't hold back. I think you're WAY beyond, beyond. lol In fact, Brad is just a reminder of the highest form of flattery being....imitation. :)
RZ, I just love you, behind the camera, in front of the camera, you are awesome. You cak take 5 items and probablly make 5 different outfits out of it. You are a style ICON and nobody can touch your creativity. And that son of yours, Skyler what a cutie, you too Rodger. You guys are so good together. Keep up the great work. And yes, Rodger she needs an apt in New York
seconds ago. Brad who, the wannabe copycat
