Are Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes an Item? Don't Ask Claudia Jordan

The #RHOA alum backtracked on a recent statement she made on the rumored couple's relationship status.

Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes have long been rumored to be dating on the sly. But, it's always been just gossip. That is until The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Claudia Jordan, who happens to be a friend of Jamie's, seemed to confirm the news while on the Allegedly podcast on Tuesday. "He is very happy with her. I like that he seems very happy," she said, according to E! News.

However, she now seems to be singing a different tune. Shortly after making that comment, she released a statement clarifying her remarks. "I have no knowledge of Jamie with Katie at all. I've never seen them together. He's never told me he's dating her. I don't have the knowledge of this being fact. I don't. I misspoke," she said. "A lot of times, I get asked questions about celebrities—some I know, some I don't. A lot times we just give a safe kind of generic answer. Sorry to not have this bombshell story, but I cannot confirm them."

But her mea culpa didn't end there. She added, "I hate that this has blown up like this, and I feel like a lot is being put on a three-second clip from a podcast. I just want my friend to be happy with whoever he's with, but I don't even want to know any more! It's none of my business, and again, I've never seen them together."

The buzz around the alleged Katie and Jamie romance sparked up again several weeks ago when it was reported by OK! that the duo had put their wedding on hold because she was pregnant. Katie's rep called the report "categorically untrue" and his rep told E! News he is "not engaged, not getting married and not having another child."

Well, there you have it.
