We've seen many a Real Housewife go under the knife for a little nip/tuck. But don't expect to see NeNe Leakes on the operating table anytime soon. When The Real Houseives of Atlanta pal stopped by Bravo HQ, The Lookbook asked her to spill the tea on just how far she's willing to go in the name of beauty. And from what she told us, NeNe won't go too much farther than the beauty counter.
When we asked the Swagg Boutique owner if she'd had any treatments done lately, she recommended some beauty products first. "Treatments? No, but I just tried makeup: NARS foundation, so I just tried that. I’m really particular about makeup, so NARS is something that I tried. People told me that it was supposed to look like skin on your face, so, NARS. But I would love to try a treatment. What kind of treatment? Tell me something new. I would love a treatment, I’m good for a treatment," she said. Except...
"Anything new that I could do that we ain’t gotta be put to sleep, I’m here for it," she shared. "I don’t want to be put to sleep. No. So there’s a lot of stuff you could do to still look great, you know. I know everybody knows fillers and Botox, but there’s all kinds of laser treatments you could just do to your skin, just a lot of stuff to stay looking great and I would like to try every last one of them."
And, she means it! "No, seriously, every one of them," NeNe continued. "I just think there’s nothing wrong with keeping yourself up and looking great. Sometimes people make fun of it and I think they really make fun of the people who go too far but I think that it’s a good thing. You have to keep yourself going and you need to always look great."
NeNe also shared a pro tip about looking young: "Don’t forget to [moisturize] your neck because a lot of people just be doing their face and you’re like, ‘Girl, what about your neck?’ You know what I’m saying? The neck is gonna be old and the face is gonna be young. So you gotta go all the way down almost to your chest and back up."
That's a good tip! Clearly, this Atlanta beauty has her eyes wide open.
