A Luscious Surprise

Bravotv.com's Assistant Editor selects the top FIVE moments of Episode 9.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

How appropriate to have a supersized helping of Atlanta after a weekend supersized with Thanksgiving gluttony. I don't know about you, but I think I need to go hit the gym with Sheree and Lawrence. Although I think Sheree would kick my a-- at boxing -- those arms!

In the spirit of giving thanks (and supersizing things), you're getting FIVE rather than the usual three moments this week. There were just too many amazing moments in this episode. And hey, maybe it will help relieve some of your post-holiday-traffic post-traumatic stress.

So let's dive right in to the #5 moment, baby Ayden's homecoming. I have to say, there's nothing cuter than watching two first time parents fumble around while they learn the ropes of parenting. But one thing in particular left me a bit confused. Phaedra said that the same person who crochets for Oprah crocheted Ayden's outfit. But what is Oprah having crocheted? Does Gayle secretly love wearing crocheted clothing? Are crocheted onesies one of Oprah's ultimate favorite things? Add this to the list of Atlanta mysteries.

Speaking of mysteries, the #4 moment goes to Sheree's debacle with (Doctor?) Tiy-E. I'm just as confused as Sheree on this one. Why was he being so shady about answering the question? Something is definitely not right, because frankly anyone who claims to be a "Love Doctor" should probably know that saying, "Sometimes women need to shut up," isn't going to win you another date. In the words of Sheree, "NEXT!" (They really need to bring back 'Next' so Sheree can be on it. Hearing her say "next" is music to my ears.)

On to #3, the "girl talk" between NeNe and Kim. Oh NeNe and Kim conversations … always full of gems. First off, I DIED when Kim said of Kandi Koated Nights, "Some of the things she talks about are hard for me to swallow." Too easy? Maybe. Hysterical? Yes. I also love whenever NeNe tries to get the scoop on Tracy from Kim. She goes into this husky, knowing voice that's just perfect. Maybe NeNe should take a page from Kyra Sedgwick and look into becoming a closer. How could you not answer this: "If it was good once, I bet you went back twice, girl. Tell me the truth." See what I mean?

The #2 spot has to be the scene where Cynthia and Peter try out different wedding menu items. Why you ask? For Cynthia's statement, "Are you guys going to throw that away? That's a good sandwich later." Amen! That just gave Cynthia major points in my book. Why let all of those samples that you only took a bite of go to waste? And in Cynthia's blog this week, she confirms that she did in fact enjoy a leftover sandwich.

And finally, the #1 moment … Kandi Koated Nights! Where to begin? You've got to give Kandi credit, she has no problem asking the hard questions. For example, "Have you ever peed on anyone?" While it seems none of the Atlanta ladies is into water sports, I'm a little suspicious of Kandi. Was she perhaps looking for some solidarity? Maybe Andy can get some answers if they play Andy Coated Nights again.

I was also with Kim when she said, " Do you really think that NeNe is a 3? No. NeNe is probably a 43." I remember the Alter Ego photo shoot last season, and I think NeNe is just a crouching southern belle, hidden freak-a-leak.

And then of course there was Mr. Luscious. Sounded like Kandi should have said she had two special guests for the girls … Was he actually wearing only a sock on his penis? I'm pretty sure strippers have more high tech gear available. But what made that scene a true spectacle was watching all of the ladies' faces. The range of surprise, horror, and fascination was priceless. Enjoy all the Kandi Koated, lusciousness of this week's top clip!
