Kandi, you don't need to apologize for anything! This whole "Kim singing" bit has been driving me crazy. I'm a singer, I know many, many singers who have studied music and their instrument for YEARS and take it very seriously. Some of them will never get the chance Kim is getting, and taking advantage of, dare I say. She has no idea how the voice works, what it can do, and what you are doing in order to even get her on pitch. She turns her nose up at voice lessons, with a vocal coach that so many singers would kill to work with! If anything, you're being too nice to her. She needs a big ole reality check.

You are an artist and a hard worker and she has no clue. You are absolutely justified in the way you've been feeling.

Hello Kandi, first and foremost let me say that I am a big fan you are about the only classy one on here. Now to the basics first of all, I was disappointed in the fact that yall only $20 regardless of what anyone said, you should have did your own thing. 2nd of all, I dont believe that you are trying to make Kim look bad, but I do believe that you need to speak up. Kim is waltzing around here ordering you around like she makes you millions of $$$, put her in here place and keep it moving.

Kandi, I agree with you 100 percent you should have followed you gut instinct on your donation to Sheree fundraiser if the others wanted to give $20 that's fine if you wanted to give $1500 you should have they were making their decision and you should have made yours. Kandi, You are such an AWESOME friend. I really like Kim too, but if she's going to work with you she needs to honor your wishes and NOT play the song for anyone until it's finished. I think that's pretty fair of you to ask given that you are taking so much time to do HER a favor. I am a singer myself, and if the producer asked me to keep the track to myself that's just what I would do. There has to be a respect level there, and she needs to show more respect and APPRECIATION to you. Now I think Kim is very funny and I enjoy her on the show (this season), but she isn't very professional, and this isn't a PASSION of her's so she isn't taking it serious enough. I think you working with Lawrence is an AMAZING thing, I believe your work will really pay off by working with him especially with his target audience. I think Kim is a user, there is no way in the world I would let an attorney tell me legally what I have the duty to do when me and my "friend" had another arrangement, you are better than me. As far as Kim singing, she can not sing, so whatever you do for her she and her fans should appreciate, I can not beleive that anyone would have the nerve to say that you made the song hard for kim because you were mad at her, well if Kim could sing there would be no such thing as "making a song hard for her" some people think that people are supposed to be constant enablers for people, girl don't let nobody tell you that you are obligated to enable Kim by spending all of your money to make her sound good on an "easy" track, if that was the case give the "easy" track to someone that is paying you, I mean "respects" you enough to pay you for your services.

I think you are a "people pleaser" which in itself isn't a bad thing, however, when you do things like put someone (Kim) in a recording studio that has no business being there and also, carrying her throughout her "live performance" at the White Party, it doesn't make any sense. Kandi, If you're really trying to help Kim you should be honest and tell her that she does not have talent. Kim cannot sing and I don't care how many vocal coaches she sees that will not change the underlying problem.

Also, you need to stop being passive agressive and you need to let go of your anger surrounding the record you produced for her and made it a hit. You chose to act in the capacity of a friend instead of making it a business arrangement. Once you did that, that was the bed you made, not her.
