A Bit Much

Sheree shares her thoughts about the date with the doctor.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

I want to apologize for not being able to blog last week. I am just now getting over a very ugly cold! I feel much better. I also want to thank all of you for the comments, good, bad, or ugly ... I appreciate them.

Going to Tye's seminar on last week's show was cool. It was a panel of a combination of single and married men speaking on relationships. I absolutely love to hear other people's views and perspectives on love and relationships, so I was all for going. He then announces that he has some special guest speakers, so I'm like, "Ooh yeah, more opinions and views!" Again, I love this stuff! I then hear my name! Boy was I not expecting that. While I am not so comfortable with public speaking, it was kind of fun.

It appears that I missed quite the baby shower!

Okay, on to this week!

Oh no, not "beef curtains." Where does she come up with this stuff?

Phaedra, Apollo, and that pickle ... speechless, again! I think it was a unique idea, but it didn't come across so cute on TV! I think Phaedra is cool, but that just wasn't right. It did however make me go out and buy a jar of pickles. OMG, I have not had a pickle in probably 20 years. I also learned that they have zero calories, yum.

The Mothers' Day brunch was very nice. It was a chance for us girls to get together and celebrate a beautiful day ... one that should be celebrated 365 days a year.

The discussions at the table were pretty funny. I have always been told that my facial expressions are hilarious. I don't even know when I'm doing them, so that can get me in trouble sometimes! They are a dead give away as to what I'm really thinking. Mental note: Learn to control facial expressions!

I love Ms. Joyce, she's so real and down to Earth. It was pretty shocking to hear that she and Kandi's dad have been separated since Kandi was in the 6th grade. Wow.

I'm all for being happy right now! As mothers, we sometimes make decisions based on other things or to make others happy instead of putting ourselves and our happiness first. My thought was when making my decision to divorce was that I can't truly make my kids happy if I'm not happy. That was my decision.

Kandi and the sugar, the pop rocks, all that stuff sounds like an infection waiting to happen. No thank you!

My second date with Mr. Tye was cool. I got through it! I was a little thrown off when he wanted to cook for me at his friend's apartment. Especially when he told me that he was bi-coastal and had a house here in Atlanta. So, you all know I asked him! He all of a sudden remembered that he sold it the year before. REALLY? Let me set the record straight, I totally don't mind helping my man in the kitchen. As a matter of fact I think it's cute. But from the time I walked in the door, I felt like he was putting it on a little thick. He was being a bit much on the second date, I'm thinking something was up. Not sure if it was the cameras ... well, yes I am! I couldn't enjoy the food from him taking my fork and feeding me grapes in between the spaghetti, it was too much. I felt like I was an infant. Yes, its nice for your man to feed you a couple of spoon fulls, but not almost your entire plate! Again, we had good conversation, but is that enough? I don't like things to feel forced or pushy men. If it's meant to be, it will be! We shall see.

Until next time,

xoxo
