Season 2
Season 1
This was a really good season from beginning to end. I had a lot of fun doing it. Last year was the first time in a very long time that I truly felt stress free, at peace, and happy. I was doing me, coming into my new beginnings, totally feeling great about life and enjoying time with my family. I was so happy to have Tierra back home. She and Damon have really impressed me with their independence. Such delightful young adults. Plus, I love when Damon comes and hangs out with Kairo, almost like a big brother. I started dating again and am having a good time doing so. No one special as of yet. I was also able to come out of me shell and get up and attempt to dance for a great cause thanks to the wonderful people at the Alzheimer's Association. Something I never thought I would be able to do! I am also still working with an acting coach as well as attending classes, and that's been a lot of fun as well. With everything I have been through in the past, I still feel strong, I still feel empowered, and I still believe. I believe that nothing is impossible, that we should always dream big and push ourselves to be better and do better. Women have to learn to believe in ourselves. Yes, we fall down but we have to get up! It seems at times the world is on our shoulders but know that through prayer and determination anything is possible.
When I arrived at the movie audition and pulled into my assigned spot that the was held for me by the crew, I have to admit, I never realized that it was a handicapped parking spot until watching the episode last Sunday. I was horrified! I want to apologize to you all for that. That is not something I do, ever! Again, I am truly sorry to those offended. It was not done purposely on my part.
Going into the audition, I was extremely nervous. This was my very first movie audition, and I was told by some of my actor friends that typically inside the audition room there will be the casting director, the person operating the camera, and maybe one more person. So, when I walk in and see a table full of angry looking people as well as people sitting on the left side of the room observing, it was really intimidating to say the least. Nothing like I expected! I gave my audition, which was a cold read, and I thought that would be it. But they decided that they wanted more camera time and asked me to do it over and over and over again with two other men as well the one guy that was shown. I was in there at least 15-20 minutes while they talked down, ridiculed, and yelled at me and/or the guys. Let me tell you, it was not a fun experience. I thought they were extremely unprofessional and rude. This totally could have become a "Who gonna check me, Boo" moment! I did all that I could to try to keep a pleasant look on my face. It's amazing what people will do for some airtime. Terri Vaughn, an actress herself, should have definitely known better but she stooped just as low as the rest, if not lower. In an audition, you run the lines once maybe twice then they call the next person. From there you either get a call back or you don't!
I was surprised that Lovita Jenkins and friends went in on you like that. . . not trying to throw shade, but Ms. Vaughn's body of work is not that of a great actress. They had their noses turned up at you from the time you walked in the room. I'm glad that you held it together. You have definitely evolved into a beautiful woman over these seasons and I appreciate the self control you exhibited. Goodness knows that 1 perpetually angry black woman on the show was enough.
Sheree - I completely felt the same way about your movie audition. I felt that a lot of the panel were washed up wanna-be's. The RHOA camera crew was a perfect opportunity for them to show their @$$es. I've always been a fan of yours. I think you only interject your opinion when absolutely necessary. I believe that you definitely make an honest attempt at remaining neutral - most of the time. With that being said, you better step it up for next season. It didn't seem like a whole lot happened on Season 3. Your fans want to make sure you stick around. So, if you need to join eHarmony and find a boo or whatever the case may be... DO IT NOW!
Look forward to seeing you in Season 4!!!
Sheree, I've grown to like you more and more this season. Your storyline was in the back, but when you were shown I enjoyed you.
And yes, Terri Vaughn should be ashamed of herself for behaving that way at the audition.
Sheree, all I have to say is that I love you this season. I wish you and your family the best in everything!
I am glad that you put into action the phrase that I quote all the time, "Don't let anyone write on your chalkboard.'
i gotta say, sheree, i am enjoying you so much more now then from season's past. i can truly see the evolution in you. not once in your blog did you talk shit about anyone. we women should support each other, but it seems that men have that down more then we do. anyway, i think your oldest daughter is beautiful and delightful. i can see how proud you are of her. i just want to say to you to keep up the positivity cause it shows and makes you look radiant.
I am more than surprised that you actually are criticizing another established actress. You really need to get over yourself. I truly thought you had changed and actually liked you this seasons - but it didn't last. You had to pass vile comments about NeNe and Peter; you criticized Cynthia at the fashion show; you criticized Cynthia at her wedding and gave your "considered unrequested opinion" about her getting married at all. You actually called her a bitch and then approached her like a friend trying to get her to agree to stay the night - are you for real. No wonder you have no luck. You have such a high opinion of yourself (which I wouldn't normally criticize) that you've lost all measures of reality. You're attractive and take care of yourself and live well - but once you open your mouth, it's all over. Get over yourself - your 15 minutes of fame won't last too much longer.
Shree, You have still a lot to learn. If you could get out of your self for just a minue, you will see your errors. During that audition, Terri Vaughn was telling you right. I saw exactly what she saw, first of all, she is experienced, why can't you take her constructive critisizm and apply what she said and grow from that. One of the biggest problems with you that I see is that you do not have any humility. Humble yourself the next time an experience actress talk to you, take it all in for she knows what she is talking about. Please learn how to take directions from others and please stop being a "know it all., for you don't know jack!! okay listen, listen, listen, and then apply, and you my dear will go far
Sheree, I am proud of you this season. You seem to be happier and having more fun! I like how you tried to stay out of the drama, too. Congrats on your new life!
If Sheree was mine ? She wouln't have all those problems . So Sheree Write me, We'll talk ,Ky. Big John
sheree, you were great this season! clearly really coming into your own and you were able to fly above all the drama! great job this season- you made it worth watching.
Sheree, YOU ARE AWESOME! I love all the girls, EXCEPT NENE (I used to like her until this season), but you have grown so much since the first season. You really seem happy and a GENUINE, GOOD, LOYAL, MATURE woman! It seems like you are very level headed...
Anyway, I think you are a great actress! Keep up the hard work. It seems like all your hard work has paid off so far. So I aspire to be someone like you one day--A HAPPY INDEPENDENT WOMAN! (not a lot of woman can say that!)
Great post Sheree, It looked like those people were angry, what was up with them? I thought you did really good. I am in agreement with you, tears, missing license, hubby to be drunk, on the wedding day, it wasn't good. Did you think Peters tone with cynthia this season was good?, I thought he was a broke down, angry man, control freak. Cynthia will probably divorce before to long if she has any sense. Your daughter who moved back is a beautiful lady. I am glad you are in a good place. Best wishes to you
You let down your wall this season and showed the viewer's your loving relationship with your family. You also showed that you can relax and laugh at yourself. I like the Sheree we saw this season. A compassionate woman but nobody's fool!
I think you need to get a thicker skin. You just don't take criticism well. When you audition the people are there to help you. Constructive criticism is a good thing, it will make you better at your craft!!
I am so glad you got the part, I know you can really make something of your passion for acting....you have what it takes!! So mazel to you dear Sheree! There are some haters on this site, dont' pay any attention to them, I don't know what is wrong with them. This season I saw that you had grown and settled into your comfortable place with yourself. I was not a fan in the first season as I saw you as materialistic and arrogant. But you have moved through that phase; and I think that was probably a personality side effect of your marriage, and not the real Sheree. Yes indeed, that so called actress with the short hair who was busy calling you out was a bully and a twit, and I know the old Sheree would have gone off and it would have for sure been a *who gonna check me, boo* moment. But you rose above her nonsense and you talent showed through, good girl! I wish you the best Sheree, and your lovely family as well. Glad you gave the dreadful faux doctor the boot, not a good guy, and for sure not good enough for you.......he was cheap and petty. Just a word of advice, next time check out the shoes and the belt, they always say a lot about a man, hee hee :)
Sheree, I am curious what happened to SHE by Shree? I don't recall seeing anything related to that this season. BTW, what is up with NeNee and Kim? Do they really fight like that?
Sheree you are very classy and true to you self. Stay that way and I am sure u will make it to the top. I loved your surprise appearance on The Game!
You are so boring...even your blogs. She by Sheree, Dancing, now acting??? What's next.....Who gonna check me boo as the next single from RHOA???
Sheree, You have really become my favorite this season. I agree with you, Terri Vaughn came off too strong. Not sure what she was trying to do, but it was not working. It was as though she was making sure she was seen and heard. At one point, I wondered was it her movie or play or like you said, "maybe she wanted the part." Great Job this season!!!
I definitely thought you started to develop nicely as an actress. Keep working at your craft, you are fun to watch! Hope you decide to keep doing housewives! All the best to your beautiful children.
I just want to tell you that you look absolutely amazing in all of those shots wear you are talking into the camera... your hair, make up and clothes are all stunning. Good for you!! And by the way your children seem to be so terrific! Many blessings to you.
WOW that was the audition from hell. That's the same thing I was thinking:...do the lines..if u like them they get a call back if not...oh well. What was all of that about??? The chilin' circuit is deep!!!
Love you Miss Sheree! You've got this mad confidence and you go for it! You seem like a good person who is happy for others when good things happen. You celebrate other people's successes - you don't put them down. Try to rub off on Nene a bit...
Ditto. You seem very comfortable in your skin since the divorce. I wish you much luck, peace and happiness.
You go from nice to nasty sooooo easy. I would NEVER treat "MY" friends the way you do.....you are a phoney!
well it's good that your not talking down on nene this time b/c your not all that but i wish you the best and all you do and always to jesus !st and you will be ok god bless
Sheree, I really loved you this season! My heart broke for you in the audition. That one particular beeotch was grandstanding for the cameras. I think she was auditioning for Simon Cowell's replacement. She tried to belittle you, but in turn just made herself look crass and like a fool!!!
You did great!!! Just be you!!!
I have really enjoyed you this season!! Since NeNe went completly off the rails...it was nice to at least have you...a breath of fresh air. I totally agree about the audition...as an "actress" herself, Terri should be ashamed of herself and her behavior....it was so obvious that they were acting for the camera...so jelly! I think you should take the "movie" role and...shove up you know what!
Love Ya
Sheree - this is the first season that I enjoyed you. I am so glad to see the change in you. That audition sucked and I believe you that they wanted camera time. Vaughn was so nasty, I was ready to slap her. BUT you handled it like a real lady. Good luck to you with your acting, I will be looking for you on the big screen.
Sheree, I really enjoyed what you wrote (regarding the film update). It gave me a entirely new view of you. I'm glad you spoke the truth about those auditions. It was a disgrace the way Vaughn behaved, especially since all she seems to have under her belt are sorry comedic roles. Anyway, I do think you go overboard w/ the confidence thing. Come on, really, tone it down a bit -- it makes you not likeable. You sound so sensible on this blog, but sometimes you sound catty on camera. I do have to say, you can really wear a weave well -- gorgeous hair!
Yeah, they behavior of the judges during the audition was ridiculous. I kept saying in my mind don't critique her just don't give her the job if you don't like her acting. It's really quite simple and nothing to get upset about.
I've auditioned for many movies, commercials, and plays and each audition is different. It's a good sign when you're asked to read the lines more than once. They are trying to get a read on you and also to see if you can take direction. When Terri pushed you she was trying to get that emotion that she asked for; and she got it. I think when she "upset" you, you got out of your own way and delivered. One thing I learned about auditioning; the only thing you control is your performance. Even if you know the other actor's lines, you have to listen. It's the only way your performance can be "real."
Sheree you handled the auditon like a true professional. Keep up the good work. You have a beautiful family, good job.
Sharee, I saw on THE GAME and your audition you werent that bad just act natural and i guess you will get it.
I am not crazy about Sheree on the show but those women in the audition looked disgusting and they acted extremely angry.....but can you expect anything better? Sickening women to look at with more sickening behavior. Puke
I just would like to say Sheree it is so funny you invited Lawerence to Maimi and didn't have a problem, but you had a problem with NeNe inviting Diana that's kind of one sided. Then it should be all about Cynthia. NeNe was preaching that from the start before everyone else starting inviting their friends. That's just w-r-o-n-g.
I just have an observation...As a brand new actress going in to a reading, it doesn't matter who is hearing or watching you. You are gonna take it seriously or not. So what if the people you see on some panel are what you consider "washed up", they are there for a reason. You either want to be there or you don't. How about doing your job and doing it the best that you can...that is what a professional would do...no? Who are you as a new person in the field to presume as to what is professional or not. Haven't you ever heard the most famous people talk about how hard it was to get the part? Do you honestly think you are above it all?

I have enjoyed watching this past season --- not much was said about your clothing line, SHE by Sheree ... is it exclusively in Atlanta or will it ever be available elsewhere or online? Also, you looked STUNNING in the last episode when you came to the wedding, and I totally fell in love with the gorgeous necklace you were wearing. Is that one-of-a-kind, or is there a prayer that I might be able to get one like it? I loved, Loved, LOVED it!
