Bravotv.com's Assistant Editor selects the top three moments of Episode 15.

Jan 24, 2011

Well there was certainly no shortage of comments on NeNe and Kim's epic fight last week! Good points were made on both sides, so I remain conflicted. I think the only fair way to decide a victor would be some sort of Wig-lympics -- tests of strength, stamina, and speed built around synthetic hair. And hey, curling would finally make sense!

In any event, let's jump into the penultimate episode of the season. The No. 3 moment goes to the rather bizarre house where the ladies are being hosted. I realize this isn't really a moment per se, but I was compelled to comment. I thought they were in Miami, not Transylvania… I was expecting vintage floral patterns, perhaps a Will Smith song, and of course a gorgeous lanai! Instead we were treated to a wide array taxidermy pets, frescoes of satyrs and other mythical beasts, and Kim's friend and host Thomas. Now all we learn of Thomas is that he's in the real estate business, but what I want to know is how he developed his very distinct taste for interior design. Was he perhaps mentored by Miss. Havisham? The girls are a bit put off, and I can't say I blame them. Toto, I have a feeling we’re not in Atlanta anymore.

Side note, when Thomas mentioned he was neighbors with Rosie O'Donnell and Gloria Estefan, I immediately thought back to the episode of 'My Life of the D-List' when Kathy visits them both in Miami (I know, I'm scared by my encyclopedic knowledge of Bravo shows as well). I wonder if she spent any time at Casa Thomas?

The No. 2 spot goes to Lawrence's impersonations. I mean really, what can't Lawrence do? I think by far his best was Kandi. Those hand motions and intonations were especially on point. Which one did you think was Lawrence's best?

And thank goodness Sheree invited Lawrence, because I think that was the first time anyone cracked a smile the whole time. In fact, Lawrence has been a welcome ray of high-heeled sunshine this entire season. His banter with Sheree never fails to bring a smile to my face. So here's to you Lawrence! I wonder if the first dance at Cynthia's wedding will be to 'Closet Freak.' Speaking of, you can see the live performance here.

That whole ensemble is amazing, but the hat really stole the show. Lawrence could give Aretha Franklin a run for her money.

Why aren't the ladies blogging? It is really boring trying to catch up on an episode you missed and no one is talking about it!

Kathy acutally filmed in Casa Thomas when she was in Miami looking to "buy" a house with Rosie and Gloria. I recognized Thomas's pet german shepard immediately!

Episode 15 was a complete waste of my time ! I'm so over Nene and her very big mouth yelling, swearing & being a complete imature self-centered bore ! I'm done with Atlanta HW !

Kim and NeNe = trashy, boring, and not worth watching. It's old and over done. They both seemed spoiled and the way they attempt to manipulate and confront others is unattractive. You have more positive ladies you should be focusing on other than the "divas in a pod." Phaedra and Cynthia are nice additions; though it took awhile to warm up to Phaedra, she's quite funny now. Sheree has been more demure this season and I like her interaction with her oldest daughter and Lawrence. Kandi is talented, easy going and fun to watch. I hope next season we'll see less (none) of Kim and NeNe and more of the others!!!

Lawrence is hilarious! I wasn't feeling the guys in heels when I first started watching but now I think they should give Lawrence a spot and remove one who shall remain nameless!

Hey Andrew,

Thomas's house was acutally shown on the D-List when Kathy went to Miami to look at real estate to "buy". I recognized the stuffed german shepard immediately!

Why doesn't Bravo make the ladies Blog. I mean they are getting paid to do the show. Why can't they take 20 min out of their "busy" lives to discuss the show. Geez!

you know ,it would be nice to have a poor person like me on these shows.it seems all they care bout is money or how much they can do .they really take advantage of alot of things in life.here i am loosing my hearing and think god for closed caption for me to see wats goin on.........i really like to see these ladies go shoppin in goodwill, thrift stores or wolly world which is walmart, lol

I was shame of NeNe its obvious that she has let fame go to her head. Take her off the show, she used to be my favorite “BAM..Be Gone”. She is so jealous of Kim and why I don’t know she is just a good laugh all the way to the bank because we all know that she cannot sing OKAY.. Get Simon on the show to tell her Please. But she is a Diva I will give her that.

Nene is usually my favorite but she was just plain horrible in this episode. Kim had a valid point (I never thought I would ever say this - lol) but the girls were invited to Kim's friend's house. Nene should have left if she was not happy. But to invite Diana to come stay also without asking for permission was just plain tacky. Plus Nene had such a problem (in the past) with Kim dating married men but umm.. as we have all come to know - her bff Diana did the same thing, if not worse (i.e. sleep with a married millionaire 2x and got pregnant w/ twins and sued him for child support to the tune of 28k per month and won).

Lawrence is an amazing person and it really comes out (no pun indeeded).

I agree with CrickettB - Phaedra has grown on me and she is funny. I love the part where she is in the van with Kim and tells Kim she better do a great performance or she is going to be talked about like a dog. Phaedra's delivery of that line was hysterical.

Love Cynthia and of course, my favorite is Kandi - the voice of reason amongst the "foolery".

Sheree is much more likeable this season. The past seasons she was trying way too hard to be a diva but she is better this season.

Where do you get the shirt that Kandi had on (IFly Above All the Haters)? I want one!!

Dear Bravo, You are kindof ruining the housewife series. We want to get to know the ladies, and laugh, and identify with their problems. But all you show is yelling and screaming----I can barely watch NeNe, and I think Theresa of NJ is painful to watch too--they are both too violent. Noone wants to watch a group of ladies gang up on one housewife---ie the DC series and New Jersey. That's stupid, and juvenile. I hope DC doesn't even come back---it was worthless. Go back to the old forum, getting involved with their lives and struggles, with incidently drama here and there. But NOT all drama and fighting. Noone can watch that week after week.

I am probably the only one, but I loved Thomas' house and his quirky decor. I even loved the dog because that's what I wanted to do, but my adult kids said, NO. Since I'm an artist, that's why I probably connected to his style and creativeness.

I really don't like NeNe anymore. She's too loud, and I don't feel she represents the women of Atlanta.

Nene neneneeds to go. ASAP.

I guess I feel as others do... I AM SICK OF NENE !!!! She is so disgusting and violent. If she's back for next season I won't be...

I can tolerate Kim, but NE NE NEEDS TO GO.................

Couldn't agree more!!! The whole cast has turned into a bunch of low-class, ghetto talking, trailer trash clowns. There is nothing entertaining about RHOA anymore unless you are a true "Jerry Springer" fan. Goodbye and good riddance!!!!!

Cynthia is by far my favorite on the show... At least she brings real drama and blogs every week. She is very sincere and likeable. I hope for the best to her and Peter.

I am so done with NeNe... her Trash Mouth and Violence!!

Dump NeNe...

Bring Back Cynthia, Kandi and Phadrea ....

I agree with your comment & the one by cactus rose. Are the veteran RHOA ladies too good for us?? They sure don't take the opportunity to blog too much anymore. Especially NeNe. It's been almost 2 months for her to 'grace us' with her words. Thank you, Cynthia & Phaedra, for regularly sharing your point of view. As for the others? You wouldn't be where you are without your fans. Take the opportunity to blog or you just may lose your fan base.

Even at her worst, Nene IS the RHOA. And the fact that she has blogged like 1 time this entire season (admittedly to my dismay) just cracks me up even more. This woman truly is a diva and even those who hate her, LOVE to hate her.

Team Nene! In real life we get pissed so why in the world should she fake it and bite her tongue? Furthermore, I am under the impression that I am too sophisticated to come to actual blows with anyone. But let a Kim get out of line...yes I'd probably be compelled to go there. If Kim doesn't want to get choked she should watch her mouth. Problem solved.

I can't take the over the top fights. Disagreements, even arguments, but this over the top yelling and attacking that Nene is doing if "offensive." She needs to go. It isn't even fun to see her on the show. Andy showed a scene from the upcoming reunion and the fight that broke out there...I won't be watching Nene's over the top, behavior.

Cynthia sister and mother is wrong. How messy

What is up with Phadrea and Dwight...Istantly she was excited when she seen Dwight.

Phadrea's comment about Cynthia pulling off her million dollar wedding with " cent" was not cool.

Cynthia's big day... How nasty the comments made by the housewives of Atlanta. When time gets hard remember Cynthia you can not depend on your family nor your housewife friends...Wow...

Seriously, we need more positive shows on television! There has to be more than the negativity seen on the RHOA. I have not watched the other RH shows due to my sheer astonishment of this particular one.

We all have faults and make mistakes, but to do so with it being recording for viewing is just more than necessary. I think that is the issue with RHOA. With the spotlight on the faults of these women, who could remain standing as being innocent? Really?!

Lawrence is super talented!
