No. 3 - African Dancing Queens
What doesn't Phaedra do? Lawyer, funeral home owner in training, mother, and now African dance maven. Seriously where does she find the time for all of this? And she was pretty good to boot. It would appear that donkey booty is just full of secrets.
Kandi on the other hand tried to play it off that she's not a dancer. However I think she's one of those people who can secretly bust a move, but shies away from the dance floor. I mean you've been a performer for years, there's no way you haven't developed a decent rhythm. Once she got into it and wasn't so self-conscious, Kandi seemed to be keeping up with the group just fine. She may still become the Black Swan yet, Phaedra.
And hey, compared to Ramona, Alex, and Sonja trying to do the dougie, these two looked like seasoned professionals.
No. 2 - Mama Joyce, Peacemaker
Mama Joyce is a brave woman. Trying to get NeNe, Kim, and Sheree to be friendly when they are currently not speaking is quite frankly dangerous. I mean has she watched some of their past fights? I wouldn't want to be caught in the middle of that. You're basically asking to get the weave snatched right off you head in the crossfire. But luckily for Joyce the ladies behaved, because who doesn't love Joyce? Or maybe they just didn't want to cross her after witnessing her chew out Kandi for the ReDICKulous debacle. Either way it was fine if painfully awkward.
On a side note the best part of the whole scene was probably the end when Joyce realized she'd actually been drinking wine the whole time even though she doesn't drink. Oops! What exactly did she think she was drinking? But it all makes sense now, because who hasn't tried to have awkward conversations while drunk?
No. 1 - Can You Hear Me Now?
Another feather to put in Phaedra's accomplishment hat is befriending African dignitaries. Evidently she and the Vice President of Ghana go way back, so why not make a call over to Africa to let him know she's visiting? But just as they were beginning to chat, someone dropped the call. This is because, as Phaedra informs us, "Africa is the worst place to call. It's so hard to get through." Maybe it's time to switch service providers, Africa, because everybody knows Phaedra has people to talk to over there!
Next week the Africa trip begins, but with one little surprise...
