Cynthia shares all the things she's thankful for after such a crazy season.

By Cynthia Bailey

Well, I guess all good things must come to an end. This year has been amazing! Life is truly all about the journey, and not about how many bumps were in the road. How boring would my little existence be without the ups and downs, the good times and the bad? It is very easy judge people when you have never walked in their shoes. I don't envy anyone, and the only person I wanted to ever be was me. One of the biggest lessons that I learned this season was that you can't please everybody. All you can do is wake up, put one foot in front of the other, and walk toward your life. I own my life, and the only person that I answer to is God. I feel so blessed to have people that love me, and I find incredible strength from people that do not wish me well. I fall, I rise, I make mistakes, I live, I learn, I've been hurt, but I am alive. I'm human and I'm not perfect, but I'm thankful.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

I am so thankful for:

First and foremost, God: I know that without you, nothing is possible. You have been with me through it all, and I have never questioned you. In the darkest hour I felt you quietly watching over me and in sunniest of times I knew you were smiling with me. You have given me such a blessed and highly favored life. The serenity prayer will forever be my go-to for strength. Thank you for always showing up.

My mother: For just being my mother. You have always been there to catch me when I fall. Thank you for letting me move to NYC at 18 years old to follow my dreams. Being a mother myself now, I don't know how you did it. I can't imagine how you must have worried about me. My biggest goal in life was to make you proud of me. My health: I recently had a mammogram, and I do not have breast cancer. Praise God! I drove everyone around me crazy until the results came in. I had everything checked. Outside of being anemic, my overall health is very good. I do not take it for granted.

My daughter: Noelle continues to be the reason I will stop at nothing to give her the life I never had. Noelle you are so fearless, thank you for allowing me to be your mother. You validate me in ways you will never know.

My husband, Peter: For coming into my world. You have forever changed my life. I followed my heart, and you led me to Atlanta. Had I not fallen in love with you, I would not be a Real Housewife of Atlanta. I admire your strength and applaud your confidence. I know that you are my number one fan, and I am yours. I love you.

The Bailey Agency School of Fashion: Classes are full. This is my first business venture, and it is a success. I love teaching my students, and they inspire me way more than I could ever inspire them. Thank you Russell Simmons for your inspiration and support. Your friendship means everything.

South Africa: A trip of a lifetime. Thank you to the orphanage that we visited for reminding me how blessed I truly am. Being in South Africa taught me how to appreciate life again. I am grateful for everything!Family: My sister, Mal, and my brother, Thomas. We don't always agree, but we always have each other’s back. I will always be the big sister, and I am here for both of you. Our bond is unbreakable. We’ve been there, and back! For real.

Friendship: My BFF, Kithe Brewster. I almost put you in the family section! You really put the F in the word friend. Thank you for lifting me up at any hour of the night! You are my big brother. I am so lucky to have found you.

Thank you to all my fans! You guys are a pillar of strength. You kind words always touch me to the core. Your love and support mean everything.  I can only hope that my life has inspired you all in some small way. I am not perfect or special. I'm just Cynthia. Thank you for embracing me for me. I love you all!

See you guys next season!

Blessings!
