The Kenya/Walter Situation

Cynthia gives her take on their relationship.

By Cynthia Bailey

Hello and welcome back everyone! Hope you guys enjoyed this week’s episode. As usual it was full of drama! So let's jump right in!

I may not know everything, but one thing that I do know is that as long as we are in the "land of the living," we are going to get older! Peter and I make no secret about our age, and we own it! We do not take life for granted and work hard to live it to the fullest. However, we both need to make a better effort to maintain our overall health and wellness. I don't need to tell you guys how important a healthy diet, consistent exercise, and regular checkups are, especially after you are of a certain age. We all have busy lives, but we have to take better care of ourselves!

I don't know about everyone else, but I felt like the day I turned 40, I could no longer read the dinner menu without glasses, my knees started to betray me, and I can gain 10 pounds just by driving past a McDonalds! At 46 years old, I can no longer afford take my health for granted. I think Peter and I look pretty good for our age (he recently turned 52), and we now want to feel as good as we look!

I was especially proud of Peter for doing the Salute to Men's Health Awareness Dinner, because I feel that men can be even worse than women about getting checkups and making regular visits to the doctor. I thought that this dinner was a fun and positive event for the women to come out and support the men in their lives. Peter's dad has suffered two heart attacks, and Peter was told after a recent doctor's visit that if he did not exercise and change his diet, he would suffer the same fate. Not only is Peter my husband, he is also a father to all his beautiful children. We all love him and want him to live a long, healthy life! Kandi

Congrats to Kandi, Todd, and Riley on their new, beautiful home. Just more affirmation that with hard work, your dream home (or should I say homes) can become a reality!

Porsha

I was saddened to see Porsha's pregnancy test come up negative. I wish them many happy years of marriage, and I pray that they are blessed with all the children they could ever want. There is nothing like being a mother. The happiness my daughter brings me is like none other.

NeNe

Continued success with your acting career! Your press tour in New York was exciting to watch as well as inspirational.

Kenya

My only goal at the dress shop with Kenya was to be supportive and encourage her to move on. After a breakup, it always feels good to be reassured from a girlfriend that you still got it going on! Although I was surprised to hear that Kenya and Walter were never intimate while they were dating, I do not think that he is gay.Tune in next week to RHOA at 8pm on Bravo. I appreciate and love you guys!
