Porsha's Inaccurate Comments
Phaedra details all of the charity work she's done.
November is always a month of deep reflection and jubilee for me. During November, we celebrate my husband’s birthday, our wedding anniversary, and of course, Thanksgiving. While November is the ideal month to reflect upon all of the many blessings we are thankful for, it is also the perfect time to take inventory of how we can bless others. One of the things that I am most thankful for is my wonderful family that always support my business ventures. In this week’s episode you see my husband and I talking about our new fitness video venture. As advocates of wellness, physical activity, and healthy eating, my husband and I developed a workout video that promotes healthy active lifestyles for people of all ages and sizes. And of course, there are moves to help women achieve the donkey booty that we all long for. The video will be hitting shelves real soon! Stay tuned to http://www.nidafitness.com and follow us on Twitter @NidaFitness for daily health/fitness facts and up to date information on the release of the video!
Our new cast member Porsha was introduced during this week’s episode. Despite Porsha’s inaccurate comments about the philanthropic endeavors of NeNe, Kandi, and me, it is evident that each of us are quite committed to our community. Kandi continuously lends her time, talent, and financial resources to numerous causes benefitting children. This year, NeNe partnered with shoedazzle to create a shoe for the sole purpose of giving all proceeds to charity. I sit on the board of numerous not for profit organizations volunteering my time, talents, and financial resources. Anyone who knows me is aware of my ongoing commitment to plights centered on education and the support/advocacy of at risk women and children. To learn more about the charities I support, please visit my website at http://www.phaedraparks.com. In closing, I hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving holiday and remembers the true essence of this holiday; and as you feast on your many blessings, be sure to also be a blessing to others. I would also like to extend my deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to the victims of Hurricane Sandy. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I urge everyone to assist the victims of Hurricane Sandy, by sharing your time and/or resources. As James Russell Lowell said, “It is not what we give but what we share. For the gift without the giver is bare." Have a blessed holiday!
