Phaedra Whips Out the Big Buns - Ep 6

Bravotv.com's Associate Editor reveals how you can recreate Phaedra's scandalous ensemble at home.

This episode was all about departures -- Kim takes her leave and the ladies head off to Anguilla. A Housewives trip is really exactly what we need right now to fill the wig shaped hole in our hearts right now.

No. 3 - Under Their Umbrella

The ladies got a little dance performance treat when Phaedra organized a special showcase from the local dance troupe. This wasn't surprising, only because of Phaedra's habit of always organizing some kind of dance exhibition at events -- the ballet dancers at her baby shower, ReDICKulous at Kandi's birthday, etc. She's truly a modern day patron of the arts.

The dance group shook it up with some semi-scandalous moves and some fancy umbrella prop usage. (Were the Anguilla dancers the inspiration behind Rihanna's hit?!) This (coupled with plenty of pina coladas most likely) got the girls in the mood to show off some of their own booty-popping moves, and NeNe puts the other girls to shame. Clearly she wasn't afraid to dust off some of her pole dancing skills, to show these girls she's still got it (and perhaps to send a little "yep, this is what you've been missing" message to Gregg).

No. 2 - More Excuses!

So when is NeNe releasing Excuses? Because that needs to happen. I'm already hooked from the snippet she came up with on the spot, and I love the idea of having the other ladies doing backup. Although I'd worry about some crazy Supremes-like drama, so this would have to be a one time thing.

Plus we now know that all the ladies have sexy moves up their sleeves, so there is definitely some music video potential here.No. 1 - Welcome to the Bun Show

Phaedra's always been a proper Southern belle, but it's clear she's got a bit of a wild side. Phaedra decided to let her freak flag fly a little louder and clearer than usual however, when she debuted a very special ensemble -- basically a thong with a fishnet stocking thrown over it. Outfit complete! You can recreate this look at home simply by buying some black yarn and strategically placing it over yourself.

This was done of course to accentuate her legendary donkey booty, which we will probably never see again in such detail, so I hope you all soaked up the enormity (ha!) of the moment.

Next week Kenya and Porsha's mounting tension finally boils over.

Phaedra: Ending a Marriage Isn't Easy to Discuss

Phaedra Parks opens up about the difficulties of seeiking a divorce.

Bravotv.com: What were your thoughts about the counseling session? Do you regret not attending?
Phaedra Parks: I do not regret my decision to forego the counseling session. As Porsha said, while many of these women say things in an effort to move forward, their actions contradict their words. Hopefully, some benefit was received from the counseling, but everybody knows actions speak louder than words, so I will be watching to see a change.

Bravotv.com: Why did you break down when talking to Sarah Jakes?
PP: This situation has been very overwhelming to me and being surrounded by mean girls has not made it any easier. During one of my most difficult nights, I prayed and asked God to send me someone who knew HIM but could understand me, and I received a call from Sarah within 24 hours. I knew God had answered my prayer, because Sarah and I are both preachers' children. As such, we are often scrutinized based on our parents' calling rather than who we are as individuals. That being said, she understood my plight as a Christian, wife, mother, and business woman. Sarah went through a difficult situation and could relate to what I was experiencing. Because I knew God sent her, I trusted her, I already respected her, and she made me feel safe. I thank God for sending her!

Bravotv.com: Was it hard talking to the lawyer about your marriage?
PP: It is never hard to talk with a friend and colleague, who has mentored you for well over a decade. Ronne Kaplan like myself is a mother, who endured and survived a difficult first marriage. She did not allow that relationship to defeat or discourage her. Ronne is one of the best family lawyers in the country with a specialty focusing on high asset cases, so I knew she was not only well versed regarding my situation, but she also loves me like a daughter. Ending a marriage is not an easy thing to talk about, but she helped me focus on what was most important and gave me sound advice. It was incredibly helpful to have her put things in perspective for me and tell me what I needed to hear, not what I wanted to hear.
