I just wanted to share a poem with you, Maria Costanza’s A Woman's Heart and Soul. I love it and encourage you to read it! Have a great week!

Porsha you got way to hype with Cynthia, of course she was upset when she heard that you said something about her. She did not know you that well to know if you were capable of saying that or not. You guys were not friends, you were only getting to know each other at that point. You shouldnt have expected so much. I actually find it kind of weird you went in on her like that. However with your EX Husband you have nothing to say.
After seeing the episode I was like Wow. Never want what another woman has no matter how much bling comes with that life.
Porsha, Please continue to keep your life; which includes your partner in life. Don't be moved by the pressure of your peers. They may see your husband as being controlling, but many of them would jump at the opportunity to be adored in the way that he obviously adores you. You have a responsibility to respect your marriage and honor your husband and you do so wonderfully. I am sure that Kordell is proud of his choice in a mate. I am so tired of what is becoming the cliche of black women- tramps, angry and bitter, as well as unscrupulous. I appreciate your role on the show because you show the world that black women are diverse and there are those of us who do not open ourselves up to any and everything. I still don't understand why the ladies were so persistent about going to a strip club. Really? Are there some closed closet doors that viewers are not supposed to know about? Also, Kenya is the last person who should be commenting on your marriage since she couldn't even pay a man to stage a proposal with her. Stay strong and REPRESENT!!!
U ACT LIKE U DONT HAVE A SAY IN UR LIVE...U HUSBAND CONTROL YOU A LOT ... PLS TRAY TO SAY WHAT U WAN TO DO AND U WILL SEE... POOR U
remember sheree friend tania season 2. guess who her baby daddy is KORDELL STEWART. say what now. wooooow
Go to college, become educated in order to be the kind of representative your grandfather's proud legacy deserves. Please. Pretty please.
I can really see the age difference in Porsha andd Cordell. He sometimes acts as if he is her father rather than her husband.
Porsha, opinions are like butt-holes, we all have them and they all stink. No one is perfect love. Just as I know my Gramps is proud of me, I know yours is proud of you. More importantly, God is proud of you. You have a heart of gold and it shines through all the nonsense. This is what happens when you expose your private life to the public. My mom always says, "People will take the bus to bring you bad news!" Unfortunately, these people have easier access via the Internet. The way Cynthia treated you was appalling to me and should have been to every woman watching. Based on the last episode, she was clearly misusing you, and that's why her pageant flopped. She gets no applause from me. Your home is exactly that and for her to set you up with her Baily Boys like that was unprofessional to say the least. You should have followed your first mind and left. As for your marriage, you know your husband. I'm a strong, independent black woman, but every woman wants her man to have her back. It's nice to see your man has yours. Some women are more docile than others and that's okay. We all must be who we were created to be. Be encouraged and take the negative comments with a grain of salt. You won't be the first RHW to mispronounce a word or jack up a phrase and I'm sure you won't be the last. I'd rather have your humble spirit than walk around tooting my own horn any day! God Bless you and your family.
@Jluck22 I couldn't say. It better myself Cynthia and Kenya Are both jealous of your youth , beauty, your husband whom Protects you and your beautiful life . Kenya has over staye Her welcome bring Marlo home and will the real Cynthia come Back cause this can go packing with kenya
Porsha, you have full respect for your husband. He is a bit strict but protective of you. He is the man and you allow him to be. Not a damm thing wrong with that honey. Cause that what I do too. That humble spirit you have will make it hard for him to leave you. Cause you show him full respect. Men do not stay married long to dramatic women who bump heads with their husband. You go girl! You have a good man and a wonderful life, so please do not listen to any negative advice that might harm your marriage.
‘Strict’ implies on overtone of rigidness; the ‘grin and bear it’ mentality is the reason many women suffer emotional and verbal abuse in silence. Not implying he doesn’t love her, nor classifying him as an abuser. I’m 15 years in, and experience tells me that how a man speaks and interacts with his wife in public is a reflection of their interaction in private. No woman has to sacrifice respect to obey. I doubt Kordell would accept that same ‘strict' tone when Porsha’s speaks to him. Heck, she couldn’t even tell him to ‘get the ball’ (his response was ‘don’t be telling me what to do’). There’s something about his tone that’s laced with chastisement, indicative of a parent/child relationship, opposed to husband/wife. But hey, to each her own, just my opinion - her man, her life.
I agree with you 100%.
Dont get me wrong, I love seeing Porsha as a wife because she is a type of black wife that we do not see on TV. She is very girlie/bubbly opposed to the typical "I run sh%t up in here" type that we always see. At the same time, I must say that her husband treats her like a child at times opposed to a partner. It could be that it is edited that way, I have had a couple of W.T.F. moments watching them interacting in these last few episodes. lol
Sheila0729 aka1908kay Janice006 I agree that Porsha is not what we normally see, no neck lurching, no finger waving, no baby daddies and no " I don't need a man" statements...she is refreshing.
But perhaps she is surrounded by too many folks who say "Yes" instead of "Why did you say that?"
you are 100 percent right. i think porsha is afraid of him and keeps making excuses for his manic behavior. one min nice the next a beast
aka1908kay Janice006 Wow! You are EXACTLY right...there is something to be concerned about. If that is how he acts in front of a camera, I would hate to see what happens in private. He is a creep!
Basically Porsha is a kept woman and when you are a kept woman you open yourself up to abuse without even recognizing it. I thought I was the only one who is offended by the Kordell speaks to his wife. I wouldn't even speak to my child like that let alone my partner. She needs to check him before having a child with him.
Porsha was ready to 'check', instead, she got checked and dimissed by Cynthia quicker than a New York minute. The life experience the other women have compared to Porsha is so evident; she's just not savvy and quick witted enough to go toe-to-toe with them. I'm not a Cynthia fan, but she clearly 'saw the writing on the wall', and responded quickly to shut it down. That my dear Porsha is the benefit of being a grown women who has dealt with, and resolved issues in business and personal relationships. No 'pep talks' needed from hubby, just handle your business, 'check it', move on.....the end.
cynthia remained cool, calm and collective. in the words of donald trump YOUR FIRED
Porsha, I know that you love your husband my concern is that are you standing your own ground. Men like your husband can mess you up in the long run. He does talk to you like you're a little child. And you know that you should have gotten a prenup. I know you want to believe that love is everything. Sorry to let you know a man will change on you in a minute. I just hope you're stacking up money while you can.Because, there is always going to be young pretty girl.Wonder why he married you. So what did your mother have to say about you making that s-u-i-y decision. I think you need to talk with your mother more before you decide to sign any papers ok love!!
if anything kordell should have made porsha sign a prenup. he has waaaaay more money than she does
yvonnegraham xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Porsha may act like a blond but she did not sign a pre nup...you have got to give the girl some credit.
Insecure man. "Don't be ordering me around telling me to get the ball" and "two left feet" and Porsha, deftly - deals with her domineering, mocking and abusive husband by 'allowing him to be relevant' and accepting his input. She knows what she's doing but on the other hand, unfortunately, over time this man will screw up any self esteem this gorgeous, smart wonderful young woman has.
Gusti Your post is spot on! Sounds like Porsha earns every penny of that money she enjoys from Kordell. Sad.
I'm not sure if what Cynthia said about your not doing what you were asked to do was true or not or maybe she was looking for an excuse - but I didn't like the way she acted like she was better than you...that came across loud and clear. What I ALSO didn't like is how your husband spoke to you. There's listening and giving strong advice and then there is how he comes across. You are stronger than I think anyone realizes so don't let anyone DOWNTALK you, not even your husband. You shut Kenya down and while you don't need to be a cattyghettob-tch you need to be consistent although the other thing I liked that you did is when you all went to the island and u knew to keep your distance from crazy kenya and just let oher come off looking bad all on her own.
And on a sidenote - that other catty remark by Cynthia regarding "Porsha is queen of her castle but Cordell is definitely the King and he rules" - uh, do you or do you not remember how (and probably still does) harsh, direct and controlling Peter spoke to you Cynthia. People in glass houses should not throw stones. Are we perhaps jealous of Ms. Porsha being totally protected by her husband on all counts (even her lack of perhaps proper pronunciation of some words). Your grammar is correct but I don't see anyone going out of their way to make you seem "special"!!!!!!
This season Peter arranged a surprise wedding vow renewal in Anguilla for Cynthia. Last season he threw an anniversary party for them. Seems to me that he goes out of his way to make Cynthia seem special. You don't need millions of dollars to make a woman feel special.
I would think that people who lost their business and money during a recession, had a wedding they could barely afford should not be having lavish party. It takes times to come back from a recession even if you have a job and business is growing.
Porsha - I agree with the others...honey, you need to go back to school! You sound like a complete idiot on this show.
Also - how come your husband tells you "you need to check that" when you are trying to tell him something. He won't even listen to you finish your sentence before telling you to check that!!! What does "check that" mean anyway?
George0820 LOL! In Derek J's new blog he posted that it means to "put Cynthia in her place." But what's hilarious is that Cynthia "checked" Porsha first by firing her! Bwahaha!
aggie69 Remote George0820
so did i. she is in way over her head with this show and with her husband
Hi Porsha...Welcome to the Bravo network and into my home every Sunday night. I for one am happy to see you representing the BBD (Black Barbie Doll). It's quite okay to mispronounce words. Let's see what happens when a production team visits the homes of these haters out here (eeeek)...need I say more. There are three attributes you possess that makes me proud: 1) You are a housewife, 2) You fit the criteria for the show (spending money and enjoying it...not counting your dollars aloud with an FYI attitude like Kandi does, 3) You have a business agenda.
The three things that are lacking are: 1) Tearing down others to make yourself relevant is not Christian like behavior, 2) Your mother eating from a plate with no tray on the couch where people sit was kind of repulsive, 3) Your pool area lacks flowers, flowers, and more flowers....There I said it. Can't wait to see my improvements next season. Continue enjoying yourself.
@lovegardening Kandi is the most successful woman on this show and I have a lot of respect for her accomplishments starting as a teenager. Porsha's mispronunciation of words is more startling considering the family she comes from more rather than her mother eating from a plate with no tray. How can you think putting her mother down is not hateful?
lovegardening Calling people who find education important "haters" is childish and misses the point entirely. Porsha has the time, the money and the background to continue her grandfather's proud and precious legacy. She is making a mockery of it by agreeing to appear on national TV and basically mocking said legacy. It isn't a matter of simple "mis-pronounciation" - 265 days in a year? Using "comportion" instead of "proportion? Mangling quotes: "she's guilty until proven guilty." She is lacking formal education and should not be representing the Foundation in this light.
i AGREE WITH YOUR FIRST THREE, but this is suppose to show the REAL people caring for their business on a daily basis. Further, the plate served as a LARGE TRAY, what's wrong with that.
lovegardening Explain why you think it is 'okay' to mispronounce words--especially on a constant basis? But look who I am addressing--a person who uses the term "hater" when (wrongfully) referring to people who simply abhor the slaughtering of the English language.
BTW: Kandi's may have an 'attitude', as you put it, but she's wealthy BECAUSE she counts her dollars. That's what people do when they earn a living themselves.
porsha you are so pretty and a very nice person but you do need to go to school sometimes you do seem air headed
Porsha, please go back to school and get a college education. I am sure that this would make your grandfather proud since he believed in education and was college educated himself. That way you could really accomplish a lot in supporting his legacy because right now you depend on too many others within the organization to get simple things done which you could in the future handle on your own.
