Season 5's Soap Opera Drama

Porsha shares what you can expect from this season.

Yay, the first episode was great start to a season full of more drama than ten seasons of the soap opera As the World Turns! Trust me, we all have in some way or another unknowingly taken part in it, as if it was a book on the best-seller list.

OK so let’s get right into it. First I want to say I’m glad that the season I joined the cast NeNe seems to be back to the funny, crazy, dramatic NeNe we love. She is shown in the first episode in LA having lunch with a MAJOR director and talking about doing her own sitcom. (Get it, rich bitch!) Love it. I’m delighted to see her thinking about working it out with Gregg (her ex hubby). Fame and fortune is desirable, however family and a man who is there for you through thick and thin is priceless. Plus men are always better on the second go around (wink). Take him back, NeNe, y'all are really good for each other.

Next Kandi and her new man hit the big screen, and I must say, I really like these two together. They are really in person just like you see them -- two cuddle bears. (Gag, LOL!) Just kidding. You guys will see such a huge difference in couples this season. It’s obvious whose relationship is genuine and whose is fake and probably couldn't get a real man if they made him up like the teens in Weird Science. (Cracks self up.) PS: Even though Kandi's dude is young, he resembles my late dad, so on that alone he gets an A+ from me, LOL.

Oh how can I forget Kim visiting Kandi’s house. Can we say a bit rude? I know they seem to be friends, and sometimes you are so comfortable with friends that you can say certain things. But I feel for Kandi, because she looked uncomfortable. Trust me, even if her house had been done, you still feel self-conscious about these things, that’s just being a women. Let me state for the record, yes, that area of town does have a lot of blacks, however they are affluent people. And trust me, any part of town anywhere can become jacked, so to insinuate it was the ghetto wasn't a well thought out comment. I live in a nice area myself, but trust me, my doors and gates stay locked. Bloop bloop and alarm on. With drugs like Molly and bath salts, I'm not taking any chances, LOL.

Now Pheadra and this pet hospital visit… child, if you are going to go to a place where people care about pets, you have to come a little more plainly dressed. You know a flashy, beautiful woman coming in talking about burying their precious dog is not going to go over well if they think you are doing it for money. Hmm that reminds me, are the dogs and humans prepped for burial in the same funeral home? I personally can't wait to see Pheadra show me some of these exercise video moves from her donkey booty video. If you ask me, you can never have too good of an apple bottom. We have to always work it out. Good luck on both of those and can't wait to see the first pooch funeral.

And as for Kenya, one word: SHAME. Have several seats. Thank you.
Last but not least, Cynthia Bailey. First I want to say I feel like she is very blessed to have the father of her daughter in her life, and now that I see the relationship he has with Peter, even better. One thing I can say about a blended family is that they work the best when all agree on how they’re going to co-parent. Sometimes everyone agrees and sometimes not, but at the end of the day, as long as the child’s best interest is in the forefront, the situation will be blessed.  Now as for him staying at their house, that’s another story… More power to you though, girl, LOL! We all saw the crazy scene with Cynthia and Jet magazine having to deal with a self-absorbed judge. What I have to say about that is at first I was upset that Cynthia didn't just give her an old-fashioned read and then see the troublemaker to the door, but then I realized that she had Jet mag sitting there and was simply trying not to make things worse.  Well child, next time this is what you: do just like mamma used to do to you in church and pinch that heffa or ask her outside and to kindly leave your place of business. You'll talk to her later and come back in casting and act like nothing happen.

Anyway I need to go pick my son up from school, and I’m tired of typing with stiletto nails. I’ll chat and have some good old tea with you guys next week.

Kisses,
Porsha

Kenya: I'm More Empathetic Toward Apollo

Kenya Moore weighs in on the drama between Phaedra and Apollo.

GROWING PAINS
Claudia has a new home, new job, new friendships that are developing, and a new life. That is a lot of stress for anyone to handle. Claudia has always been the life of the party and the girl who is friends with everyone. To see her going through grief upsets me, because I have personally witnessed her extending an olive branch to all of the women, even some who have made it their mission to disenfranchise me. It makes me sad to see that they are being punitive simply because I introduced her to the group and they are not willing to give her a chance. Like me, Claudia is a fighter and strong, but we all have our breaking point.

PON DE REPLAY
Cynthia was amazing! As an actor you have to be willing to take chances, make and commit to strong choices. This project is important to me, because it’s not only being completely financed by my company, but it is what I enjoy doing the most in my professional career. I love creating projects and producing. The great thing about Cynthia’s audition is that she came to play. I love it when an actor goes for broke and that she did!

DEAD MAN WALKING
Some people love to criticize me for having an opinion about Phaedra and Apollo or anyone else on the show at this point, as if somehow it is never any of my business. Despite the fact that this is a show where we discuss our issues, thoughts, and observations of one another. We may not agree, but I am entitled to and allowed to provide my input. We may not agree, however, no one and nothing is off limits when issues are put out there for public consumption.

Additionally, I’d like to point out that Phaedra and one other laughed, taunted, and tried to demean and humiliate me about Walter and my African Prince. In fact, Phaedra took pride in and reveled in the demise of my relationships, challenges having children, and my relationship with my mother. Some viewers have selective memory when it comes to my history on this show. They would like to conveniently forget when she said, “You can’t turn a whore into a housewife,” and that was PRIOR to Apollo accusing me of propositioning him.

With that said, I have empathy for those children and I am a forgiving person. In this case, I’m not judging her actions. I’m stating facts, history, and sharing my thoughts.

THE PHAEDRA FILES
It was very uncomfortable to watch them. No one wants to witness the demise of a marriage when there are children involved. Phaedra appeared unbothered, stoic, cold-hearted, and condescending. The truth is and remains that they each have said malicious and hurtful things to me to cause public humiliation and disrepute. However, I find myself more empathetic toward Apollo, because the difference between Phaedra and Apollo is that Apollo had the decency to apologize to me for what he had done to me. He showed contrition for his smear campaign and Phaedra has not. She is seemingly proud of what she did to me and has no remorse. Therefore, when I witnessed all the accusations about him threatening to burn the house down, having punched holes in the walls (which we did not see), and her mother stating she doesn’t want to come home and find "everybody dead," it seemed to me like another one of her smear campaigns, thereby making it easier to defend the cheating allegations coming down the pike.

#WHOISCHOCOLATE
What I see without any manipulation is a man who is hurting, angry, and afraid that he will lose his children because Phaedra refuses to bring them to see him in prison and who also believes his wife has moved on with another man before the bed even got cold. By his account, his wife, who promised to be with him until death do them part, really meant until "Chocolate" do them part.

#CELEBAPPRENTICE
We filmed the show over a year ago and it’s just now finally over! Congratulations to the lovely Leeza Gibbons on her win. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I received so much praise from people who actually preferred to watch me in my boss mode than on RHOA, understandably so. Although I didn’t win the title, as such, I won big because the kids of Detroit won $20,000! Despite the attempts to attack my character and integrity, I thank the fans who believed me and Donald Trump himself who stated he believed I had nothing to do with #phonegate. Thank you for showing your support and keeping me on top with respect to the ratings! Team Twirl has spoken and the world heard you loud and clear!

Love,

Kenya
