No. 2 - How to Lose Friends and Alienate People
Kenya is definitely like that friend you have who is extremely polarizing -- you get along with her, but she just rubs most of your other friends the wrong way. So after two weeks of Kenya/Cynthia conflict, Cynthia gets a rest and Porsha takes her place.
The lunch where they first meet is quite frankly one of the most awkward scenes I've viewed on a Housewives show in some time. These two do not mix. But nonetheless, Kenya agrees to come to Porsha's big charity event.
But it would almost have been better if they had never even gotten along at the lunch. Kenya was clearly not into Porsha's shindig, especially when she called her Miss America. This is so obviously her biggest pet peeve and something that's been going on ever since she was crowned. (In everyone else's defense, it is a bit confusing.) This is what sets her off to hightail it out of the party due to it being extremely cold (at least in Kenya's opinion). So while she defrosts in the parking lot and awaits the arrival of Lawrence, she decides it's just time to slink on out of there.
When Porsha comes out to let her know the food is out, things get almost as awkward as they were at the lunch. Kenya's not coming back in and decides to give Porsha some, um, constructive criticism by calling her event whack. Of course this enrages Porsha who then tells her not to come back inside. There's some back and forth in which Kenya tells Porsha to google her, at which point I was shocked that Kim Zolciak didn't descend from a helicopter and launch right into a rendition of Google Me. Missed opportunity!
Side Note: Kenya's friend is named Kanya. No further comment.
tell me something, does Bravo make it a point to find the rudest, nasty women to be on y'all's shows? i mean really, this new person kenya, what a piece of work. y'all should have gone ahead and just put that hooker marlo on this year. can y'all get any lower?
Could you explain why the backstory behind the fire at Kim's "dreamhome" was not given. Did Bravo miss the boat by glossing over this part of the dramatic eviction story? Was it set intentionally by a mean and vengenceful Kim or did she have her slave Sweetie set fire to the garage to get back at the Landlords who were in the process of taking her to eviction court?
