Porsha Stewart

Porsha was glad her sister was on hand to keep her from buying the $7,000 shoes.

First and foremost, let me say I missed you all! I want to express how thankful and appreciative I am of how you all have surrounded me with love and support! Not one email, tweet, or IG has gone unnoticed. The situation I was in was one of the most difficult things I or any person could go through. I feel so blessed to have had you all praying and wishing me well; it truly warmed my spirit. Love you guys.

I hope you all have been enjoying the season so far. For me it's been a little difficult to watch up until now. The first couple episodes were so emotional to experience and therefore tough to watch. I really didn't want to put myself back in that place where I was so hurt. However, now I'm in a better place and want to make sure I'm communicating with all of you.

This past weekend’s episode was so funny to me among other things. Let’s jump right in...

Kandi: When it comes to Kandi and Todd, I have witnessed true love between them! It's just something about how they look at each other. I've been in love a time or two, and I know the glow it can put on a woman's face. When it comes to Kandi and her mom, I understand both sides. From Ms. Joyce’s side I know how much she loves her baby girl and she just wants the best for her. Sometimes when you have been through hurtful things and know how it feels, you will go above and beyond to protect the ones you love from experiencing that pain. Although I feel in this case that it's blinded protection, because she loves Kandi so much. I feel as though she is not ready to see how in love Kandi is with Todd.

she is not stupid . just sounds like it unfortunately. Her focus is on materially things and  not much else. I blame her mom for sending her out into the world with a painful lack of skills other than an appreciation of her own physical appeal. She is young still. plenty of time to develop into a person of intelligence and modesty. She can have material things and these things too. Hopefully she will learn to appreciate intangible things as well.

You haven't been on blog in a while. My guess is your totally ashamed of the things you say. We all make mistakes. But once again you put your foot in your mouth. You made a comment about homosexuals and heterosexuals and it seemed like your sis was trying to correct you, but I think that is when Kenya was coming in the door. Anyway you just seem like you truly don't know what you are talking about or maybe you speak so fast that the wrong thing comes out? Maybe? I hope so. Pretty lady but you need to really stop! Imjs your on tv expect comments especially when you say crazy things.

Wow...they going in on you, boo...Why would you buy such a big house for just you & 1/4 of a dog? I'm saying ma....what if the show don't last that long for you? You in a position to learn from multi-millionaire Native Matriarchs who where you trying to be, and you not take heed to their advice? So...you just going to literately blow the opportunity you are in by overspending? I'm saying...someone who know better and don't do better is a fool...one who just don't know no better is ignorant, which are you...a fool or just ignorant? Either way...you look pretty hot and tempting, I can't wait to see you in you 40's & 50's; you know we get sexier as Natives age and you're right on track....keep it tight.

Porsha

Watch Nene as a friend, if you don't do as she says, she will run all over you.  She is using you.  The way she talks to you and screams at you for no reason at all shows her frustrations.  So what you moved into her neighbor hood,  my god is she that upset because you did not let her know, no she is jealous because you may have a home better than hers.  Haven't you got it by now, Nene is a friend to no one.  Be strong and move on!!!

Porsha,

Your justification for moving into too much house is ridiculously revealing of your level of naivete.  You're basically saying you're getting (renting?  buying?  with what money???) a big ol' status-symbol house because you FEEL like it.  That is the dumbest  reason to jump into an oversized money pit.  I've never thought much of Kordell, but I can see why he dumped you.  You're a liability and a big risk.  Grow up, honey, and earn some respect.  You're lucky to be on a TV show; you can really make something of your life, but you act like a dumb teen.  And stop talking like a lil' pickananny.  Speak like a cultured woman, please.

Your husband should be shame of himself as to how he handled this situation.  I can go there about your behavior towards a certain woman when you were living in a nightmare.  Go figure.  Glad you're out of that choke hold.  Good luck to your future.

Porsha

You come across so child like on tv and it's disturbing.  What on earth do you need a mansion when it is just you and  your dogs.  Stop listening to the housewives as they are setting you up and get  a mind of your own.  It's horrible watching you and I don't think bravo will bring you back next season.  Grow Up Girl!

Porsha, Porsha, Porsha................I would not call you dumb, but it was not very smart to rent a 8,000 sq. ft. home.  Why not purchase a smaller but just as fabulous home.  You were almost voted off the island after your first season......Girl !!!! good luck with that.   I liked you much more last season and less and less each episode. Hold on to some of your coins.

Wow...you haven't blogged in a long time. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that you were incorrect when you said that it was sad that you couldn't tell where your family came from. On Ancestry.com you can do a DNA test for $199. and find out. Oprah did it. They can find out what tribe you come from in Africa.

your sister should have stopped you from spending your "coins" on a 6 bedroom house.  All that money you are throwing away in rent could finance a new business opportunity.  You may not be on this show next season... Your brother had some sense, but you should have consulted him before you moved in...Livin the dream doesnt make it happen..you have to invest in something other than the house you live in...your house isn't going to make money

On the last episode, you act like you have no idea how to deal with your husband.  My god you are in your thirties and married and you let these women decide your fate.  I am sure that is the reason he left you because you have no mind of your own.  You also come across as a 15 year old girl and that has a lot to do with the way your were raised.  It blows my mind that you are okay with being portrayed this way on national television and it could damage your grandfathers legacy.  Really and your family think this okay?

Porsha you are very sweet, don't listen to the haters about the shoes, you didn't buy them after all. It is hard to change a lifestyle overnight. On another note, tbh breaking up with a wife via social media? That is bizarre! The man should be jailed for mental assault!

Also, it was nice to see you bonding with Kenya, she has a lot to offer! I like her, and she could be a good pal for you.

One more thing - I've just heard rumours that you might not be appearing next season? I really hope that's not true.  I don't want to throw shade here, but I'm not sure Mynique would survive long in the bear pit with the other Atlanta ladies.

I wonder how many other people think there was an actual underground railroad.  At least they know now, right? So, that's one good thing that came from her terrible education.

Porsha,  I think you're fun and cool, but to think that the Underground Railroad had trains that helped slaves to escape to freedom really had me thinking okay, she really needs to do some research.  You need to focus on bettering yourself and spend less for now until you get situated in your life.

I do not agree with people calling a person dumb, I like Porsha and I have watched her closely because of serveral comments that I agree seemed a little questionable, however, I have noticed other things like the stares and glares off, there is a rare form of Autism which most time goes undetected until late twenties early thirties. Kenya is just plain jealous of Porsha's raw beauty. This form causes memory gaps, jumbled words, Porsha designed Kordell's entire Mansion furniture and all. Do you people think for one minute that Kordell got off with $5000K a month , no people Kordell had to break off a nice piece of change. Porsha took care of his son, the house, she got pregnant and lost it, she had surgery after that and the #1 Deal Breaker, Kordell filed in Public , Porsha was not served before it went public. People Porsha has one of the top Divorce Attorney's in the Country come on people. Kordell was departed from a significant amount of his millions. Also why do you think he had the amount sealed? HELLO!! @Porsha4real she for real could afford both pair of those shoes but I agree she did not need either one. She does have to budget but don't get it twisted she is by far not broke. Nene and Andy need to quit planning the show in his office and let reality happen. No one said anything about her copying Kim's wedding down to the tents she had to get and a 15 carat ring because Kim's was 10K come on people who looks dumb now? Kenya was never a housewife and never will be and I can't believe @Bravotv allowing her to stay on because Nene says so, she's a nutcase. @Kandi had to shut Kenya sh** disturbing butt up, thank you @Kandi.  Then when they got to the Mansion @Kandi did not run up no stairs but Kenya had to go get Nene stirred up to go after @Kandi.  Nene is scared of Kenya did you see her face on the bus?  She knows Kenya is crazy and she sit and talked about all the girls to Mynique which was wrong.  Let her learn the girls herself. I pray @Porha4real gets away from Nene and Andy because they don't like her.  She will have success on her own.  I cannot believe Ryan Seacrest the MAN he is will keep allowing this.  Teresa in RHONJ was borderline illiterate in my opinion but they sent a whole team in to write for her, tweet for her and all, Gia is smarter than she is. Personnally a person or persons indited by the Government should not be allowed on a show until they clear their name.  Everyone was late for this trip except Mynique Kenya was a half hourlate but Nene called Porsha a bitch for being late @Kaqndi did not call Nene and her new Bud Kenya a bitch when they were three housrs late to @Kandi's event.

@afterlife00. I never said I was a fan of Nene. Nene isn't my idea of a positive role model for black womanhood either. But, neither is a ditzy broad like Porsha, which, in my opinion, is a far more dangerous person for our daughters to look up to. I may not like the way Nene carries herself, but she's not a dumbot, and she'll at least work for hers. Porsha, on the other hand, is exactly the type of girl that promotes the idea that women need men to take care of all of their needs. We need to promote role models for our daughters who are not dependent on men for their financial and intellectual well-being.

Rhonu

If you are being the ditzy girl for the cameras, please stop. It's not cute. If not, just get off the show because you're embarrassing yourself.

I'm looking at all these posts calling Porsha dense all while saying her grandfather was active during the time of the Underground Railroad, and I wonder just how old people here think Hosea Williams would be now, or more importantly, when he was born?  Hosea Williams was active during the Civil Rights era, which extinguished the flames of Jim Crow NOT slavery.  Therefore Hosea Williams WAS NOT active during the time the Underground Railroad was in service.  Folks, while I realize it is fun to call someone else out, from where I sit there are more than a few people who post here who need to spend just as much time educating themselves as they believe Porsha should!

This comment is all over the place.

Porsha should take the $7,000 she wanted to buy for the shoes and hire someone to give her lessons about social and current events.  And then spend the remaining about the entire slave trade history.  It will be fun and exciting.  And whenever she wants to think of vapid things in her life, she should challenge herself to expand her mind and learn something new that does not have to do with fashion, hair weaves, or makeup.

@bsbfankaren Just because her grandfather wan't a slave doesn't mean anything.  The fact that she is BLACK and doesnt know black history is what is amazing.  And even if you don't know about the underground railroad, you have no common sense if you actually think it was like a subway or something

Blossomthyme

@bsbfankaren  I really don't think when he lived or died has anything to do with Porsha's knowledge of the Underground Railroad.  It's really irrelevant.  I know I didn't bother looking up Hosea Williams or his contribution, although it is greatly appreciated.  So people are just making a blanket association with his place in history even though it is not occurring at the same time period of the Underground Railroad and just are not paying that close attention to it.  We don't have to educate ourselves on Hosea Williams to know that the Underground Railroad was not a train.  Like I said, it's irrelevant. It's all the more embarrassing that she talks so much about him (all proud), and she doesn't have a clue about black history--significant events, etc.  It's kind of ironic yet funny at the same time. Take Hosea Williams out of it, and Porsha is still pretty uneducated and has shown (repeatedlly) that she has a low IQ; and it is just plain embarrassing.  Especially because she doesn't know when to shut up.

peanutshelle

@bsbfankaren Who said Hosea Williams was active during the UR? The posts that I've seen have said that her grandfather was a well known civil rights leader. For Porsha to keep bringing up who her grandfather was, and then demonstrating her incredible ignorance about the history of slaves in the South is just freakin' SCARY! I mean, the UR was the ONE piece of black history they taught in school when I was a kid, and I graduated HS almost 30 years ago. She should DEFNINTELY know better!

jpinphx515
jpinphx515

@bsbfankaren uhh... you're smart enough to read through to the fact that with Porsha's family background she should know something that we all learned in 4th grade.  It's unfortunate that you chose to deflect that Porsha has the education of a 3rd grader.

Reneeissuccessful@44
Reneeissuccessful@44

@bsbfankaren I respect your opinion, but whether he was active during that time or not she should be more knowledgeable. Most of us was taught this in elementary(I was) and  as a child because of the educators I had, I did not think it was an actual "train". We should not call her dumb but what frustrates me about Porsha is even when people were trying to explain to her the facts she would not listen or she would talk over them. Honestly, when she is being aired I turn the volume down or completely change the channel. This is not the first time this young woman has displayed her knowledge or lack of. We all make mistakes but she is embarrassing! Sorry!

bsbfankaren

@Blossomthyme  @bsbfankaren It doesn't, but when he lived or died has a lot to do with the earliest comments on this thread.  Again, if people are going to call out Porsha for her lack of knowledge, they should make sure their own knowledge is in check first.  Just as they can make a mistake, so can Porsha.  Why is it O.K. for everyone else to be wrong not Porsha?

@Reneeissuccessful@44 @bsbfankaren I don't think porsha was able to hear the others explaining the Underground Railroad to her because she was truly (and immediately) embarrassed about not knowing. Especially with her family's history and her charity, etc...and then add to that being in the company of the other housewives, and all the cameras that were filming this embarrassing moment, to top it off with the knowledge that it would be aired for all of us to see. We've all made dumb and embarrassing mistakes, and none of us remember everything we should remember from school, or remember all important facts on the fly, so why is it easy for us to judge others so harshly?

bsbfankaren
bsbfankaren

@Reneeissuccessful@44 Yes you were taught about the Underground Railroad and obviously Porsha was too.  She made a mistake and is getting trashed for it.  I don't care about that.  What I am calling out are those people saying that Hosea Williams was active during the time of the Underground Railroad, which is not even logical.

bsbfankaren
bsbfankaren

@zoestoes  @44  @bsbfankaren Here we go again.  Porsha's family history and charity have absolutely nothing to do with the Underground Railroad and everything to do with this countries history of Jim Crow laws that lead to the Civil Right's movement.  For some reason I am getting that people think slavery and Jim Crow are in the same, when in fact they are not.

Reneeissuccessful@44
Reneeissuccessful@44

 @zoestoes  @44  @bsbfankaren

Yes, I know I have made plenty mistakes but when someone is trying to correct me I listen and not talk over them. She does that in most situations she is in. I cant judge her and I am not trying to; this is simply my opinion. She should have been more knowledgeable in my opinion. She is 31 or 32 and with all of her family's history I am sure topics of other great African American's have come up. You mean to tell me this grown woman could say that? REALLY?

jpinphx515
jpinphx515

@bsbfankaren  @Reneeissuccessful@44  @44  Using the "reasonable person" test, a reasonable person knows that the underground railroad was not actually a RR and that Hosea Williams was not around in the 19th century.  a reasonable person also knows that there are 365 days in a year (not 265 like she said before), a reasonable person knows that when you live with your mom, you shouldn't be even thinking of buying $7000 shoes, and lastly a reasonable person knows that when you put yourself on a national platform (like this show), people are going to get on you and not always in a nice way.  Porsha's "mistakes" are mistakes 3rd graders make.  Reasonable people know better.
