My run on Broadway has come to an end! I took my final bow Saturday night before a sold out audience. What a bitter sweet moment it was! My amazing hubby, children, family, and friends cheered me on and cried tears of joy with me, since they understood my journey and the hard work and tenacity it took for me to get here. I have found my home! BROADWAY BABY! I made the character my own and gave it all I had every night that I stepped out onto that stage. I worked with a talented cast that showed me generosity and kindness. I will be forever grateful for such an amazing opportunity. You can take what you want, but you can't take Broadway actress from me. I did that!
I am in such a great place in my life right now! Just thinking about it makes me want to shout! I am so tickled over these girls' constant chatter about me weekly. The one thing you will always get from NeNe is that I'm true to who I am. I was rolling on the floor kicking my Cinderella heels up dying laughing over these girls being pressed that I don't just run up and hug them! I'm not a fake friend; I don't talk behind your back then run up and hug you when I see you out. Yes, we talked and said we would be cool, but let's not confuse that with friendship! Life is about choices, and I choose NeNe!
P.S. There are a lot of things I don't have, but the two things I do have is good skin and pretty feet! #girlbye #genetics #wearenotfriendsEVER
