Kenya Moore Shouted Out her Favorite Detroit Restaurant and Swears It’s “Off the Chain”

Kenya Moore has a restaurant rec that you need to know about! The Real Housewives of Atlanta expecting mama has some seriously high praise for one particular Midwest joint that clearly needs to be on the must-hit list of anyone visiting Detroit who loves pizza. (And honestly, if you dont love pizza... who even are you?)

"Guess where I woke up? In Detroit, Michicagan," Kenya shared in a clip on her Instagram Stories. "I can't wait to get some of my favorite foods." Already, we're relating to the mindset about grabbing food as a top priority when in a new place (right, Bethenny Frankel)?

First stop for Kenya: "Number one: PizzaPapalis. Seafood pizza last night... it was off the chain!"

So what's this magical place? Well, PizzaPapalis actually has multiple locations in Detroit, and specializes in Chicago-style deep-dish pizza. They make the dough fresh every morning, and use flour with chemical- and additive-free grains. Pies are loaded up with Wisconsin cheese, and tomatoes come from Italy’s Agro Nocerine Sarnese region.

Kenya is not the only fan: The spot has been named “Best Gourmet Pizza” by the Metro times, “Best Pizza In Detroit” by the Foley Guide, “Top Pizza In Michigan” by Zagat, and has scooped up other local awards.

By the way? Kenya's fave seafood combo is a pizza topped with shrimp and krabmeat. A large will set you back just over $40... so grab some pals next time you're in Detroit and get your "off-the-chain" grub on like Kenya does it.
