Bravo After Hours host Carrie Keagan opens up about partying with the #RHOBH singer.

By Jocelyn Vena

Have you ever wanted to party with Bravolebs? Well our digital series, Bravo After Hours, offers viewers the opportunity to paint the town red with some of our very own as well as host and Everybody Curses, I Swear! author Carrie Keagan. So get ready to unleash your inner pop persona because she's painting the town hot pink with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pop star Erika Girardi and find out what it really means to be Erika Jayne.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

We've probably all watched an Erika Jayne performance or music video and daydreamed what it might be like to embrace Erika Girardi's fierce pop alter ego in our own everyday life. But only some of us are lucky enough to get Erika Jayne tips for ourselves. Bravo After Hours host Carrie Keagan happens to be one of the fortunate individuals who not only got to spend a blessed few hours with the RHOBH singer, but also got her very own Carrie Jayne makeover from the singer and her Pretty Mess Krewe for herself. Below, she opened up about the life-changing experience.

Bravo After Hours: What was it like to experience the Pretty Mess Clubhouse for yourself?

Carrie Keagan: Walking into the clubhouse felt like I had taken the wrong door and ended up in my Barbie doll’s den of debauchery.

Bravo After Hours: Describe seeing Erika Jayne's clothes in person? Was there something you were tempted to steal?

Carrie: Skin tight and sequins everywhere! Elton John would kill to wear one of her outfits! Cher, eat your heart out! I most definitely was thinking of ways of “accidentally” spilling my margarita all over a rack of her clothes so I would just “have” to take them to get dry cleaned and then secretly wear them to the grocery store and to run errands.

Bravo After Hours: What's it like to get a Carrie Jayne makeover? What's the most Carrie Jayne thing about you? What does it take to embrace that persona?

Carrie: For me, the makeover was less about the hair and makeup and more about the attitude. Erika is so confident in her own skin. You can see that she glows from the inside out. No amount of glam can do that!

Bravo After Hours: What's the most Erika Jayne thing you have in your closet?

Carrie: I don’t even sleep in stuff that sexy!

Bravo After Hours: You spent some time with her squad — what was that like?

Carrie: Her group of friends are the definition of #squadgoals. The Pretty Mess Krewe is really just another way of saying Ride or Die, or BFF, or Dumbledore. I came up with nicknames for my own future messy crew: Bloody Mess, PM Mess, Hot Mess. You get the idea.

Bravo After Hours: Talk about having that one-on-one time with Erika Girardi and Erika Jayne?

Carrie: Erika is a very down to earth woman who wears a lot of different hats. Sometimes those hats are like the most fabulous feathered and bedazzled fascinator, while other times it’s more like a hard hat. I respect the shit out of her for being able to live two very different lives, both successfully.

Bravo After Hours: Are you a big karaoke fan? What's your go-to jam?

Carrie: I don’t do a lot of karaoke outside of my own shower, but when I do, it’s Bon Jovi "Dead or Alive" or Def Leppard "Pour Some Sugar On Me." I have learned from experience that karaoke is only partially about your singing talent and mostly about your charisma. Go big or go home! I do have rules though. Never ever anything slow or sad! I mean, we are performing a concert for the entire bar, after all. People are there to be entertained, not listen to some joker trying to be discovered and whisked off to The Voice. It kills the vibe of the night everytime. If you look around, you’ll notice that’s when everyone sneaks off to the bathroom or orders another drink from the bar.

Bravo After Hours: How did it change the karaoke experience for you to perform the song in front of the audience?

Carrie: OMG so much pressure!!!

Bravo After Hours: What was the biggest thing you learned spending time with Erika?

Carrie: Giving zero f***s means living your life the way you want to live it. F*** the haters.
